This company is poor to say the least. They set the appointment for repair on the day and time window. No one shows up at all, toward the end of the day I called the office to inquire where the tech is.. They say the tech had a personal emergency.. and they rescheduled for next day.. Next day comes and again no show..I call the office and there is no apologies for the lack of service. I ask what do I do as i have had no ac for a week.. admin says do what you got to do??!. They say the tech will be out between a new window and doesn't show again....What has happened to customer service and reputation in business. Doing what you say you would do? If the owners of this company are wondering why their business is down.. they should look internally real hard.. simple math treat customers bad they slowly go away. WAKE UP!

Excellent service would definitely recommend to anyone that needs AC or heating repairs!!! Very knowledgeable and professional, diagnosed my ac problem quickly and quoted me a great price to fix my issue! No need to get a second quote these guys are awesome and will use them above anyone else!

Recommended by a neighbor. Been having the same problem with drain line for years. Other company too lazy to figure it out. Wesley with Texas Air Conditioning and Heating came over and solved the problem and actually FIXED it. He did a great job, he taught me how my drain works and showed me where my drain line connects to the plumbing in the house under the sink. I’m a mechanic by trade so I can do mechanical work. I had a compressor fan burn up, I looked the parts up ordered them and installed it. I still had a problem and called Texas Air Conditioning and Heating. They showed up ahead of schedule, found a bad connector and fixed the issue. The young man was hesitant to charge me but I insisted. We agreed to a price, I learned something new and highly recommend this company!

Yearly service and maintenance for gas furnace and central A/C, and repair work for various problems over the years. Flexible scheduling for each event, but quick to respond when something is needed. Everything these guys do is done well. When a time is set, Texas HVAC is prompt and very efficient in going right to work to identify and fix the problem. They care for both my residence in Dallas and a rental property in Cedar Hill. My repairs have each been timely, effective and reasonably priced. Mark Heine works diligently with his technicians and his client to find affordable and beneficial solutions.

We had been serviced by the Heines for three years and every time Mark and his son Wesley have been fast to respond to our request and very professional. They understood the problems and solved them right away, not common procedure, as we had many others AC guys pretending to do the work. I am very impressed by their work and would strongly recommend them.

We called these nice people this morning to take a look at our heater that quit working. They quoted us a time to come between 3-4pm but called earlier and came right over :). Mark and his son Wesley were quick to identify and fix the problem and for a reasonable amount. Fast, Friendly, Honest, Prompt and Reasonable earns them an A+ from us!!! Texas A/C and Heating is a family owned and locally operated firm. Mark Heine has a great deal of knowledge and experience and he is ably assisted by his son, Wesley. They were able to quickly diagnose the problems in both of our A/C's and provided several alternative solutions with detailed cost estimates.
Mark Heine is honest and dependable. There was no up-selling into higher cost models with features that are of little to no use. Also, Mark doesn't resort to come-on or other sales gimmicks to draw in business. They service and supply quality A/C units with full warranties. Texas A/C & Heating came recommended to me by several neighbors who have been customers of Mark Heine for ten years or more. All the work is done professionally and Mark called upon his brother, who is also an experienced and licensed technician, to assist when the scope of work at our place demanded his skills in installation and with ducting arrangements. Throughout the whole process the job site was kept clean and any trash created was hauled away by Texas A/C & Heating by the end of each day.. Also, Mark and Wesley were very helpful in explaining their plan of action for the work and were always ready to answer any questions we had. In summary basis our experience we believe we were the recipients of excellent service from Texas A/C & Heating and would recommend them to others.
Description of work:
Replacement of a 30 year old inoperable 5-ton Comfortmaker A/C & Heating Unit with American Standard 16 SEER A/C and Heating Unit. In addition, Texas A/C & Heating serviced a 30 year old non-functioning 3.5-ton Comfortmaker A/C & Heating Unit. After several checks and tests were performed by Texas A/C, this unit was brought it back into full operation thereby saving us the cost of a replacement.

My family has used Texas Air Conditioning & Heating for over a decade. Owner Mark Heine has been responsive, diligent and effective in every instance. He's got the work ethic to labor in a hot attic, the expertise to identify and fix the problem, and offers fair prices for outstanding work. Highly recommend.

Mark and Wesley at Texas Air Conditioning & Heating went out of their way to help me quickly when the heat went out in my home, and fixed the existing system, saving me thousands. This was after I reached out to one of the big name companies who advertise $129 will make your heat work better who refused to do anything because I needed a $17000 new system in my 1600 sq ft house. All it really needed was a good cleaning and someone who could do the maintenance my neglected system needed. If you want someone to save your system instead of pushing you to buy a new one reach out to these guys. They are awesome!

Both Wesley and Mark are great to work with! The woman who left a recent one star review - all her other reviews are in Austin so there's probably another a/c company with a similar name and she didn't take the time to make sure she had the correct one. That happens a lot on Google.

Texas Air Conditioning & Heating bailed me out last summer when our A/C stopped working, they were very responsive and able to get out the same day and make the repair (replaced the capacitor). They did a great job on the seasonal inspection this spring. Very nice, professional and knowledgeable.

I placed a call in the morning and had my air conditioner fixed by late afternoon! Mark and Wes were professionals. They explained the current problem, what they would do to get me back up and running and then fixed the issue quickly and professionally. It was nice to deal with a small business owner who was able to explain the problem concisely and then take the corrective measures to get me back up and running.
