I was building our house in Ellis County and they were recommended by a friend . I called Don to ask if he would give me a bid on the electrical and he did . There office is 90 miles north of where we were building . They were always on time, he had a few employee problems, but he always stood by his word and took care of it . Don himself came out two times during to process and did the work himself . I would use R & D Electrical again with out an hesitation . Good group of guys .

As a Facilities Director, I've never worked with a company that pays as close to detail as this R&D. Even when they've run into a little job that turns into a can of worms. All repairs are handled professional, no patch work done to just make it work. While working on a service call or new installtion, they will report any other concers as they run across or point out items that need attention that my in house technician can do.

Working with Don is great. He has that old school way of thinking. Where a person's word should mean something and stand behind it.

Where R&D can, they dated and signed parts replaced. Making it easy to track the repairs, warranties, or workmenship. If you are willing to leave your name behind on your work, to me it shows that you believe in what you do and are willing to stand behind your work.

We needed some outlets fixed and some put in so we could wire in a door bell. The original quoted price was 1500 and I was fine with that but half way through he changed it too 2200 because it was a harder job than they expected. I understand a quote is a quote but waiting till the end of a job to raise it that much is ridiculous. He should have stopped and said how much it was and let me approve the new amount. In the end I paid 2k by taking two plugs off but I just found the last minute invoice to be underhanded.

we had a really good experience with rush plumbing recently. chris came by and swapped out our water heater and fixed a small part at the meter. he noticed there was too much water pressure coming into our house, which isn't great for the water heater. chris tried to adjust the old knob at the meter, but it wouldn't budge, so he replaced it with a new one. we also had a couple of broken knobs on our master bathtub that needed replacing. since all our plumbing was originally installed by rush plumbing when the house was built, chris called the office to check their records. they looked up the model numbers and let us know to contact moen since their fixtures have a lifetime warranty. we already got the replacement parts from moen and installed them. i really appreciate chris taking the extra time to help us out with all this. i didn't check prices with other plumbers, but i don't mind paying a bit more for excellent service.

i really liked how helpful chris was when he came out to my house in justin. he answered all my questions and took the time to double check everything with my plumbing system. my alarm went off early in the morning, and he arrived right on time, just like he said he would. chris inspected my pump, which is part of their usual service when you have an alarm issue. even though i had replaced my pump with another company a few years ago and had my system pumped recently, chris found the pump was bad and clearly explained how he figured it out. he suggested replacing the pump and also mentioned a few other things to consider for the future, but he wasn't pushy about it. i decided to just get the pump replaced. after installing the new one, chris tested it and noticed it wasn't pumping enough water to the drain field. he took extra time to clear out the pipes, and found that only two of the three were working right. he fixed the third pipe and made sure the new pump was working like it should now that the field was cleared. everything worked perfectly after that! they cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was in order before leaving. it took about two hours, but i appreciated that they weren't rushing and made sure everything was done right. this is the third time i've used this company, and every experience has been great. chris was professional, friendly, and didn't mind me watching while he worked. i would definitely recommend them to anyone in justin looking for a good plumber!

i recently had a plumber from rush plumbing & air come out to check out a leak coming from my downstairs ceiling, right below the bathroom. chris came by and quickly found that the toilet was a bit loose, and explained the situation to me. at first, i was surprised that there was a $150 fee just for the inspection, which only took a couple of minutes and didn’t involve any repairs. i thought that was a bit much, but after i reached out to their team, they got back to me right away, listened to my concerns, and gave me a full refund. chris and the rest of the crew showed great customer service and were really helpful. honestly, after seeing how well they handled things, i’d definitely call them again next time i need plumbing help.

chris just finished the rough-in for my master bathroom. the job included taking out the old pipes, putting in a new underground drain line, swapping out the supply lines, and moving the main drain, as well as repositioning the sink and toilet lines. he also made sure the main drain was set up right for the other bathroom. before closing up the ground, he tested all the plumbing and there were no leaks. the work was really clean and done with care. i'm really happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend rush plumbing & air for any plumbing job!
