We recently had BTZ Contractors remodel our bathroom and install a built-in library in our living room. Josue managed both projects in a timely and organized way, with minimal disruption to our daily schedule. The level of workmanship and quality of materials was obvious, as Lucio, the carpenter, built an amazing vanity for our bathroom that we love. The bookcase exceeded our expectations in everyway. He's a master craftsman and the rest of team, are all outstanding. Highly recommend this company and will be using them for several more projects in the coming months.

BTZ Contractors are the real deal. Josue was very responsive, extremely professional, and prompt to answer my request to convert the walk in closet in my guest bedroom to a shower to our powder room and then add a small closet to the guest bedroom. Anything I wanted to modify or added he was willing to do it. We were also on a time crunch and he finished ahead of schedule.

Brian and his team did an exceptional job remodeling our bathroom. We enlarged our standing shower, changed vanities, and changed our whirlpool tub. Brian was very helpful and extremely meticulous in the design phase of the project. We chose to go with Onyx Collection surfaces and are extremely happy with the result. Most of all the entire experience we was smooth and not stressful at all which was a welcome change from previous contractors I have worked with!

Simplicity Bath & Shower is as good as it gets. I had a bathtub converted to a shower with the Onyx Collection (solid surface) and it turned out awesome. Brian is very personable and great to work with. He spent quite a bit of time with us to get everything picked out and knows his products well and the ins and outs of bath conversions. Jeff did the installation and all I can say is that guy is a true craftsman and a machine! He know exactly what to do and there are no wasted motions and a great guy to boot. We engaged Brian Horton of Simplicity Bath and Shower to do a renovation of our master bath and two upstairs Jack and Jill bathrooms in our Sugar Land home. Here is our description of our experience:
• A design process to develop specifics of what we wanted including guided trips to Ferguson’s for selection of all fixtures toilets (4) and the new bath tub – to the tile shop to select tile and related trim for the shower and tub replacement – to the stone store to select counter tops. All efficiently in four hours.
• A detailed description of work to be done with a total fixed price.
• A start date of our choosing with completion in 4 weeks – 2 weeks less than projected. Working six days a week, with one or two trades working each day. No wasted days, careful sequencing and scheduling of work so no time was lost.
• Constant supervision by Brian. Abundant communication to us so we always knew what to expect. Extensive protection of our floors with barrier covers.
• Perfectionism and attention to detail. An elaborate Schlutter system water proofing for the tub and shower. Elegant under mounting of the new tub with heavy lumber custom framing. Artisanal tile setting that was planned out before they set the first tile.
• For the inevitable problems that arise with something this complex, Brian always solved the problem with a solution that erased the problem. This included reworking countertop fabrication or replacing the new tub before installation because of a minor manufacturing defect – all at no increased cost to us.
• The work crews – particularly plumbing, tile, painting, refinishing, electrical and glass were of the highest skill and care for their work.
• Abundant dust cover protection but there was almost no dust generated in the house. Stone, wood and tile sawing was done outside the house. Complete removal of demo waste and clean up every day.
• Always listening to us and doing everything possible to do what we asked for.
When we started the project the cost seemed high. After we did a rough calculation of the hours and cost of labor and the known cost of the materials, we understood the total cost better. As the project unfolded we were convinced that we received good value for the money we were spending. The result was a superior renovation and experience. We wouldn’t want to do it any other way.

Brian and his crew did a great job. We had them replace a walk in shower. Every step was done when Brian said it would be and how he said it would be done. The quality of the work is outstanding and Brian’s guys went above and beyond to keep our house clean while they worked.

Brian and his team are truly experts in the field. Constant communication makes any project go better, and I was always informed of status. This is the second time I've utilized his services and was just as impressed as the first time. Highly recommended.

While purchasing our new home, we discovered late in the process that the primary shower needed major repair, requiring removal of the tile floor and the adjacent portions of the wall. There was also extensive damage to the ceiling in the kitchen below the shower. All of which needed to be repaired on a tight timeline. Brian with Simplicity Bath assessed the situation, perfectly matched the hard-to-find bathroom tile, and flawlessly repaired the shower and kitchen ceiling.

I had my bathroom remolded including the flooring, has a tub remove and the shower expanded. Also had the cabinet in my bathroom replaced including the sinks, faucets and countertops. I also had them replaced the countertop in my second bath. They came in and did the work with as little disruptions as possible. I would highly recommend Simplicity to anyone for remolding.

Brian provides much detail and discussion in designing an update to a bathroom. He also has consistent high level of attention to detail and follows up quickly. Not the cheapest, he wants to use good materials and he is picky about the workers that he brings in to do a job. When we redo the hall bathroom I plan to call him.
