Joe stopped by the day I called him to take a look at my oak and pecan trees. He provided with so much information about the two trees. Gave me tips for how to care for them, what to look for, etc.

Based on the consultation, he recommended I get the two trees pruned. So I had his guys come down a week later to trim the trees. They did a great job, took their time despite the heat, cleaned up after themselves well, and they took pride in their work.

I have already recommended this company to my neighbors and will be using Joe and his services throughout the lifespan of my trees. Glad to have found this company!

I spoke to Connor who came to give me a free estimate and listen to all of my specific needs. He is a perfect communicator and informative. He was on the job to make sure everything was addressed perfectly. It was evident they take pride in their work and value customer satisfaction. They were even careful to leave birds nests that didn’t have to be touched as I prefer.

Communication with their staff was excellent. They were friendly, responsive, detailed and attentive.

Retired 22 year Navy enlisted Chief, and lifelong native of Katy since 1971. I never met or worked with this business before 2025 as I was military....out of state, and deployed until i retired in 2021. They are top notch. Reasonable rates and can do almost anything tree related. Work hard Monday through Saturday and go to church on Sunday. They are fun to watch as well....very talented. I recommend 100%. Connor runs a very good tree business that deserves your consideration.

We had to find a new Company to feed our plants and shrubs and received a referral from our old neighbor and friend in the neighborhood. My roses look amazing and my Burr Oaks are growing by leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough great things about Houston Arbor Care Tree Service! They came to Augusta, GA after Hurricane Helene blew through & destroyed the town. Connor, Valour, Thomas and the rest of the team were a God send to our family! Quotes from other tree workers were beyond gouging. Connor gave us a fair quote & after accepting, the crew started that same afternoon. They worked tirelessly for several days, busting their butts and working with such precision that it was easy to see that the team had been together for years. I'm including before & after photos but couldn't show all the trees that came down because it was too dangerous to get down into the area. The HACTS team did go and got everything out of there. We are super grateful that they made the trip to Augusta. (Y'all are always welcome to come back!) Don't hesitate to hire them. You'll be glad you did.

We've used this team for a few years now to keep our oaks trimmed back - controlling the overshading and huge annual acorn blooms at bay. They even helped keep one of our sick trees from both dying and further infecting others, which was a huge catch your average landscaper might miss. They're very serious and professional about what they do, and they won't hesitate to advise against something that isn't in the best interest of tree's long-term health. That's really important, making you happy in the immediate term is going to fall very short if your tree dies years later from those decisions. The cheaper groups will hack, saw, make you happy - and that tree is gone/dead a few years later. I've seen that happen to friends/family and it's why I'm very picky about who gets to touch mine especially for larger maintenance efforts. I bought this property because I love my trees and the coverage they provide. This group has my trust to maintain them.

Connor's arbor team Thomas, Valor, Blas & Jeffrey did an awesome job cutting down the trees from Helene in Augusta, Ga They were very professional, skilled and put up with me "supervising" them. My tree friends were busy working on homes that were destroyed or damaged by the storm; my damages were minimal and I took advantage of their reasonable quote for storm cleanup and tree elimination, they even fixed the water faucet that was knocked off - Highly recommend them.

We had Joe and his team treat and trim several of our trees (some were sick) as well as our crepe myrtles in Feb. His team was prepared, detailed and cleaned up very well. It's now June and the trees are thriving.

Tree and lawn maintenance of liquid fertilizing. Very professional staff, great service and love the products used for maintenance on the magnolia tree, shrubs, and grass. Very healthy, thick, and beautiful color. I would recommend this service and their products to family and friends. 😊

I received a notice from my homeowner’s insurance that to renew our policy we had to remove all overhanging tree limbs greater than 6 inches in diameter above our roof. I would go on a rant about this, because I’ve never received a notice like this before, despite owning our home for 15+ years.

Instead, I’ll brag about Houston Arbor, who came out under the direction of Conner Bennett. They did a great job.

The story continues; however, because I received an email from our homeowner’s insurance, after submitting pictures and a receipt, that the work done was insufficient. Are you kidding me? This time they changed the rules, taking away the 6 inch diameter language in the inspection report (yes, I have a copy I sent them) and communicated “all overhanging limbs must be removed”

So, I called Conner so frustrated. He empathized and said, “I’ll get the guys back out there today (which is a Friday!) and take care of it.” Then this, “NO CHARGE!” Speechless. His crew is right now finishing up and they couldn’t be nicer guys. I interacted with them multiple times. Amazing to watch them at their craft.

Houston Arbor Care is the only silver lining to this ridiculous situation. If I receive another email from Progressive Homesite that they aren’t going to renew my policy, I’ll gladly drop them and find a better carrier.

One other thing I am certain about. Any future tree work I need done at my house (where I have 4 60+ year old oak trees, one of which doesn’t even look much like a tree anymore, and this is the fault of Progressive Homesite, not Houston Arbor Care, who did the best they could), I’ll be calling Conner at Houston Arbor Care. It’s nice to know I can delete all other “tree work” contacts out of my phone!

I wanted a privacy hedge planted and Connor searched several nurseries to find the right height plants needed to give me immediate privacy in my backyard. Two other companies gave me one option and never made another attempt to get me what I wanted. I would use Houston Arbor Care again.

Houston Arbor Care came to our town for the 2026 Ice Storm. We had so much tree damage and some broken trees threatened future damage to our home. Val, Landon and Jeffrey climbed and trimmed 12 trees for us. They cut down 4 damaged pines. They were excellent and very exciting to watch! They were real professionals and the cost of their service was very reasonable. They were great!

I have used them twice now in the past year. Great company they have a quick response time and make sure to leave the place how they found it before they started. Connor and Joe are very honestly and know how to save your tree. Other companies I have had come and give me a quote were not only higher in price but also trying to get me to cut my entire tree down vs just trimming it. They found rot in my tree and just cut the limbs off to save the tree. It’s still doing great, very glad I didn’t cut it down. I also had them remove some massive bushes along with the stumps and they did it very quickly. You couldn’t even tell a stump was there when they finished. They also gave me some tips on how to save my peach tree from root rot which I didn’t ask them to even look at. Great people, great company. I’d recommend them to anyone who wants a great job done professionally.

Jose have been doing my trees , lawn and garden for 10 years. Always does an excellent job and is 100% reliable. If you need a new fence he is also your guy.

Jose and his team do a very good job manicuring my yard on a weekly basis. They are very through and make suggestions for items that could be upsated like mulching, tree trimming etc. They make a good effort to keep the grass trimmings out of the pool also. He is reliable and has several payment types. I would recommend him.

Jose and his team have been taking care of my yard and hedges, trees, etc for over 10 years! Their work is always good. Never any issues. They have replaced mulch the last few years. Great to work with!!!
