Hubs and I were looking for celosias and started at another nursery in the area. In my spirit, I knew that the sadness before my eyes couldn’t be the celosias I fell in love with on Pinterest. A friend mentioned she had seen celosias at Cornelius and suggested we try there.

I saw my beauties from the parking lot and they were everything I had hoped for! Up close, they were vibrant and breathtaking. After gathering the plants we came for, we looked at everything else they had available. The plants weren’t overcrowded, they looked regularly watered, and were well taken care of. The quality of plants here is UNMATCHED!

I also need to mention that the cashier shared some very valuable plant knowledge and was super friendly. We will be back!

Cornelius nursery was recommended by a friend as an alternate to the big box stores nursery and the other big local established nursery in Houston. I drove over her today to get some planting ideas to consider. All I can say is lots of eye candy here.

There are many varieties here that I have not seen in the competing shops. While I did not purchase anything this visit. I walked away with a lot of plant ideas to consider in my next visit!

They had a lot of great houseplants and plants for landscaping. Prices were reasonable and all the plants looked really healthy. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

Excellent nursery - stuff is very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. They help me to select the plant that fits my travel schedule and requires minimal care. It comes with Life time warranty.

Variety of designer pot selections for reasonable prices. Outstanding place ! Will be back here next weekend.

Selection lacking and prices 30%+ more than other nurseries, not sure why people still shop here. 14" ZZ plant is $129 when places closer in on I-10 are $99. A 15" glazed pot is $70 when the same exact pot is $40 at other places. They use the same suppliers so no reason to be that different on price.

Love this nursery! Always a great place to shop for quality and variety of plants. They also have pots, fertilizers, garden decor.

I've gone multiple times this summer purchase Plants and they all are still thriving and looking beautiful. I cannot complain their selection of beautiful plants at great prices means a lot to me

Cornelius Nursery is one of my favorite places to go. Years ago, I went to the store on Voss Road and fell in love with the variety of plants the store offers. Thankfully a new location opened near me.
The plants are a bit pricy, but well worth the money! If you're looking for high-quality plants of all varieties, super-friendly and knowledgeable staff,
Cornelius is the way to go!

We were looking for Tamukeyama lace Leaf Japanese Maples (Acer Palmatum Dissectum) and the lady who answered the phone put us on hold for a minute to check. She did have 1 there and so we headed on over to buy it asap. Im so glad we found the only one around here and had to drive over 30 miles to get it. Such a beautiful JM and we couldn't be happier. The lady who checked us out was also who answered us and she was the sweetest ever! She spoke to us and made sure we had what we needed. Beautiful location. Very good stock of all kinds of healthy and well maintained plants, trees, scrubs etc. Very pretty pots to choose from too. They have everything you need. Will definitely go and get another but they won't be stocked up again until next week. So if you're looking for a beautiful JM, they no longer have the one we got (they had other types like coral bark) but they may have some next week. Let's hope because I want another one!!!!

Really sweet little nursery and conveniently right off of i10. Went in for a large Christmas tree and they did not disappoint. Stunning trees and loaded it to the car with ease for us. Will be back next year (if not sooner)

Nice nursery - plants are well cared for. I had several employees ask if I needed help, which was nice. There's a great variety of plants here.

Hello, good afternoon. I have gone to this location several times everyone is absolutely great, very knowledgeable and very helpful, but this particular day there is a new Assistant Manager her name is Angelina, is the only one that is not very kind, and very Rude, with such very immature child like attitude, and being in a Assistant Manager position, I would think she would have better character. I was asking her for help about my front lawn/grass and was very snappy, and very cut short while I was asking her questions, I don't think I will be coming back after my experience. Making a customer feel like you are bothering them isn't good customer service.

Leaving this review on behalf of my mother who has received wonderful service from Nicolas. She was looking for a plant to purchase in memory of her mother who recently passed. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all of her questions. He gave wonderful advice and was very diligent in assisting her with loading the car. Because of his excellent service, my mother always seeks him out and he is the reason that they will continue to go to Cornelius. She was blown away by the level of care and quality service he has provided her time and time again. Cornelius has beautiful plants but it’s people like Nicolas that make the biggest difference.

Cornelius is great for unique plant selection and knowledgeable staff. I also experienced outstanding customer service from Paula at the Fort Worth office when it came to the multiple problems experienced with a recent Pick and Plant job. The Pick and Plant final product and execution, however, is not close to what was represented. I recently had the opportunity to utilize this service last Tuesday and a competitor today. The first two photos are the Cornelius installation. Holes were dug far smaller than advised by the planting instructions and specifications I was told Cornelius uses, including number of bags of soil and mulch (Cornelius stated 1/3 bag soil/mulch for each plant yet the installation only used 1 bag of soil/mulch for the entire 10 plants – 6-3 gallon plants and 4-1 gallon). The competitor (last four photos) removed all grass in the area where the plants were to be planted, created the depression/holes and built up the new beds to ensure the roots would not hit hard clay as soon as they started rooting). The competitor’s finished product is clearly superior in method and aesthetic. Of course, Cornelius’ pricing was far higher than the competitor, especially considering the competitor planted 5-5 gallon plants and 7-3 gallon plants. This isn’t just an issue of a third party contractor dropping the ball and digging miniscule holes to shoehorn the plants in. The Voss location misplaced one of the plants I had previously purchased, let two more begin dying off from not keeping them watered prior to installation and then tried to replace one of them with, in their words, a “smashed” plant they had on hand. Paula had to insist the Voss location find the actual 3-gallon Autumn fern I'd purchased instead of fobbing me off with a last minute 1-gallon fern replacement. I’ll still shop at Cornelius for unique plants and Christmas ornaments, but I’ll never consider them for planting or landscape services again. Just crossing my fingers the Cornelius plants don’t die despite the poor planting so I don’t have to repurchase and pay to have them planted professionally.

The team at Cornelius surpasses any other nursery I've encountered. I exclusively source my plants from Cornelius and wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and family as a reliable and trusted resource.

I love stopping by Cornelius! I stopped by earlier this week looking for some guidance on starting a vegetable garden. I was helped by Andrew, and he gave me some great ideas for starter plants. He was very knowledgeable about the plants growth process, what grows well together, and suggested fertilizers/soil amendments. The plants all look very organized and I have noticed more plant displays in the front area that have given me ideas for my home. I was very happy with the help I received and can’t wait to keep adding to my garden!

We came to Cornelius to buy plants and Dustin helped us. He was extremely attentive, gave us great tips, and even looked online for ideas for our garden. Attitude really makes all the difference. If you come here, look for Dustin — highly recommended.

Who needs to go to a pumpkin patch when you can just go to a Cornelius Nursery? Plants are great quality. Prices are a little high, but everyone I talk to is super helpful and knowledgeable.

There are so many different flowers.
There are also flowers with high discount rates.
The staff are friendly.
There are a variety of soil types and things needed for gardening.

Lots of parking, location has a number of plants, trees and garden supplies. Lots of employees to help out and most of the plants are on sale. Plants are well priced and in great condition. All sales are final, No refunds, No exchanges & open late just the way I like to shop.
