Nice place, but their plants are overpriced and they don't accept refund or exchanges. I will stick with Cornelius Nursery.

Redoing my backyard with my wife this summer. I was able to find many stones for our landscaping and walkway area. Picked up a handful of shrubs to go along side it. Will be back soon to continue the project. Thank you for the assistance in selecting what would be best!

While they have a nice selection and we really are at the end of the planting season a lot of the stock looked tired and spent.
If I were a contractor definitely would be on my list as a place to get supplies.
One thing to note they had pallets of sod available. That might be important to me as I landscape my back yard.

They have a large selection of fruit bearing, flowering, and shade trees. The staff was very helpful. Prices were reasonable as well!

I bought my plants from here and I am super happy with the quality and price of them. They have a variety of plants to choose from. I won’t buy from anywhere else!

I had a great experience here. Ms. Felicitas was so helpful and friendly. She was expressly patient and showed me around until I found the right plants.

I had an amazing experience at Katy Garden Center today. I normally go to big box that is nearby. Today I called ahead for some sod to see if they had it. They had it fresh today and 40% of the big box price which was old and not so nice. Katy Garden loaded my van as well. I was shocked because I had not had such great customer service in years. Why didn't I know about this place before. Well done!

Can’t say enough great things about Ruben, Yasmin, Sandro, and crew. We had to start over in the front yard this spring. Tree overgrowth gradually choked out the bermuda lawn and last summer’s drought killed almost every established shrub.

They KGC team took extra steps to make sure the sod I ordered was correct. I was so impressed with their service, returned the next weekend and purchased $1,000 of shrubs, annual plants, soils, and fertilizers. The KGC team loaded everything. I’ve been back twice since and anticipate dropping by a couple times a month, at least. As you can see from the photos, mulch is next on the list!

I highly recommend KGC to anyone looking for a higher-quality of plants, materials, tools, and most of all…service! If you need anything specific, don’t hesitate to call them and ask for one of the folks I mentioned above.

I had a wonderful experience today at Katy Garden Center. Sandro took his time and helped me pick out flowers for the fall. I highly recommend giving this garden center a try!

Very nice place. Good plants selection, which can actually cope with zone 9 climate and the variety of soil and solar conditions. The staff was exceptionally helpful.

This place is a hidden gem. The grounds are immaculate, the staff exceptionally helpful, and all of the plants are stunningly beautiful. I had the privilege to speak to and get some advice from the nursery yard manager, Sandro. His recommendations were spot on. He was patient and full of great advice in helping me to pick out some azaleas and ground cover. I am already planning to return this week for more of the azaleas.

Wow, I must say I am at a loss for words. They have such a vast selection of plants, and they are all well taken care of. I had the grand opportunity to be assisted by Mr. Sandro, with his grand knowledge of plants and soil I was able to pick out the best flowers and the recommended soil and nutrients needed to keep them nice and healthy. This is definitely the place to go for any and all plant needs.

Having seen good reviews, we stopped in and were disappointed. There were many unhealthy and unkempt plants.

I stumbled on this hidden gem while killing time before a spa appointment… so wanted to share this amazing nursery for others! It’s a wholesale nursery that’s open to the public! They have stone and rocks for landscaping borders, tons of flowers, plants, trees that are native and exotic! Excellent prices (see photos). They do not have cute garden decorations though. I will be back when I have more time!!

I love this local nursery. They are so knowledgeable, and my son loves visiting the huge koi they have here too.

We’ve purchased fruit trees and other plants here. They have great selections and varieties. They have water garden supplies but also all kinds of garden plants. It’s so amazing to talk to the staff and get their expert advice, too. You do not get this at the big box stores and mega garden centers. This place is a true gem.

Update: we got landscaping with Nelson’s, and they did a fantastic job. I wanted a robust pollinator’s garden of flowers in the front, and it is truly gorgeous and now filled with butterflies and hummingbirds. They did stone work, irrigation, set up raised beds with irrigation, French drains, and a big garden area in the back with fruit trees. Peter and Eddie were great to work with, and delivered on the vision! They can do it all! We LOVE Nelson’s!

Enjoyed all the water features and found some nice herbs to add to our garden.

Best place for plant shopping! Absolutely love that my kids can feed the fish. Everyone is so nice. I also think their pricing is pretty affordable.
