Had these guys come out and trim my big oak tree and they did such a great job. The tree had been trimmed in the past, but it was all mangled and chaotic. Eric and his team came out and cut way a lot to shape the tree for years to come, then dug a root barrier to keep the roots from going under the house. Highly recommend!

We loved the work that Eric did at our home in Sugar Land. The problem has been followup. Eric had indicated he wished to do additional work and we were anxious for him to do that work. We also had some drainage issues. Numerous phone and text messages have not been acknowledged. I would expect the courtesy of a proprietor to at least respond that he did not want to do the work, was too busy, etc. I won't recommend Superior Lawn Care to my friends.

We had a job completed today by Superior Lawn Care and the name of the company is fitting, SUPERIOR. Eric Ford had amazing ideas for a family that had no clue what they wanted to do. He took the time to go over every detail with us and answered questions with ease and patience. The crew was amazing. They worked hard and long hours to get the job done, and they made sure everything was done right the first time. The work Superior Lawn Care did was amazing and we are looking forward to working with Eric and his crew again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great lawn company....

John and team did an excellent job trimming trees on my property and removed all debris. Also removed fungus infected limbs on my crepe myrtle. Front yard looks so much better and no more limbs hanging over the sidewalk.

Worst customer service experience I have had. Absolutely non responsive despite following up on a proposal for work for 4 months. This is after me being a customer and they were showing up for mowing the lawn.

The owner does not respond to phone calls, text messages, emails, voicemails. When you call the office no one answers ever. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They don’t value their clients.

Superior Lawn Care just completed our yard clean-up and we're very pleased. They removed trees & bushes, reconfigured three flowerbeds, installed sod and tweaked our sprinkler system. Eric was prompt in returning calls, providing an estimate and scheduling the work. A large crew worked two full days and transformed our sad yard into one that makes us smile. The crew was very friendly, courteous and hard-working. I will not hesitate to call Superior Lawn Care in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing help with their yard.

We hired Eric with Superior about a year ago to fix a tree removal that was botched by another landscaping company, lay new sod, and repair and redesign our front landscaping bed. Eric provided a creative solution to our front landscaping bricks (that matched our house brick) to keep them from shifting and falling out of place. When Eric and his crew were done, we couldn’t even tell there had once been a large oak tree in our front yard. Eric’s team was professional and once they started the project, they knocked it out efficiently. We were absolutely impressed with what Eric was able to do to our front yard within our budget.

We recently hired Eric again to remove a Bradford Pear tree that split in a storm and landscape the area the tree had originally been in. We are again, absolutely pleased with the result. While his team was here, they went ahead and freshened up all of our landscaping areas with fresh mulch, what a nice bonus!

One additional note, landscapers work with the constraints of weather and sod availability, they don’t always know exactly the day they will be able to complete your project, as rain can delay a variety of projects and the schedule has to shift. Eric took the time to keep me posted on where his team was at, so if my project was delayed, he always kept me informed, he never left me uninformed.

Eric and his crew were absolutely THE BEST! We had several landscaping issues. One was no watering system in the backyard, but the most important was our sod issue. We'd been experiencing difficulty keeping our grass alive around and under very mature trees with ground level roots. Others had told us to simply cover the roots, but Eric got to the "root" of the problem and told us he could shave away some of the surface roots without hurting these great trees. He suggested we trim and thin some of the tree branches first. He carefully surveyed and measured the areas needing new sod, (not just areas under the trees) as well as surveying the backyard for proper irrigation installation while always wearing a mask when speaking with us, even in 90's+ weather! He regraded certain areas to maintain a gradual drainage slope. Eric scheduled us within a few weeks even in the midst of this pandemic! He and his crew were professional, meticulous and efficient. They removed areas of scant grass in our front and back yards, completely resodded all and installed a backyard irrigation system taking great care to clean up after themselves. Our lawn now looks SPECTACULAR and our watering system is great!! If I could award more stars to Eric, I would! Don't hesitate to give Eric a call!!

I have been a customer with superior lawn care for a few years now and they have always done such a great job. Yesterday they came to clean up my flower beds and trim my hedges and they did an exemplary job. Shoutout to Jon for organizing the effort and a getting it done. Thank you.

Eric and his team did an outstanding job for us. I originally gave Eric a rough draft of what i was looking for which was a total redo of my front yard that included cutting down large trees and removing existing flower beds and grass. He came back to me with a very professional drawing and suggestions that i hadn't thought of. The end result was simply amazing and i would strongly recommend him and his team if you're looking for work to be done with your yard.

Eric and his team came out to our house to check out an irrigation system issue. Upon inspection, they found that the builder had incorrectly wired our entire system. He and his team were able to correctly rewire and repair the system as well as doing so at quite a fair price. I will definitely utilize Superior Lawn Care again whenever future irrigation system issues arise.

I’ve been getting my lawn services through Superior for about a year now. I like that they are dependable and responsive. I especially liked working with Jon recently when he and his team helped me with an unexpected sprinkler repair and tree/shrub cleanup. Jon communicated effectively and in a timely manner, and the work was performed competently and promptly. I also appreciate being able to go to one place for all these needs.

I just had my trees trimmed a new irrigation system installed and new sod placed in my yard by Eric and his team at Superior Lawn Care and Landscaping. The whole process and the work they did was outstanding. I did not realize what a huge undertaking this was, but from the beginning everything was explained to me step by step. The crew arrived on time each day, I was introduced to the supervisor of the project and felt comfortable asking questions as they came up. They were very respectful of my property and cleaned up every day before they left. At the end of the project my property was pressure washed and looks better than ever! I love the fact that there is an App to set my system and I can monitor it anytime. Eric will also continue to monitor the system from his end and adjust as needed. I am so impressed with the personalized service I received that I have signed with this company to maintain my lawncare going forward. Eric and his crew have done several jobs for us. Always prompt, clear about what is required and cost up front. Keeps the area clean and finishes up completely. Pricing realistic and work quality outstanding. Week use then again. Recommended highly!

Inconsistent lawn care,and overpriced. Some parts of my lawn were completely missed and uneven. They're schedule has always been Inconsistent to what I paid for and sometimes charging me for services I didn't request such as moving within the 2 weeks I asked and dou le charging me.

Eric did an excellent job on our landscaping and sod project for new home. Suggested laying low voltage cable for future lights. Great idea, I connected lights but could never get them to all work. Eric came by and figured out the cheap Home Depot connectors were not making contact. Didn't even charge me!

A friend highly recommended Eric to come out and take a look at the issues I was having with my sprinkler system. Upon meeting Eric, I knew that he was the right man to do the job. He evaluated the situation, and let me know that my entire sprinkler system needed to be rewired. The builder and the person who I had to come out to try and fix the system previously did it an injustice. He also installed a backflow prevention device along with a video on my cell phone to show me how to shut down my sprinkler system and then how to reopen it. So much easier than what I was previously doing. We also discussed rectifying the problems I had with the sod in the backyard and drainage issues throughout my lawn. He answered all of my questions and concerns explaining everything honestly and thoroughly. He worked up a quote that I felt was very reasonable for the amount of work that would be done.
He contacted me the day before to let me know when he and his crew would be there the next morning. They were right on time. Eric supervised his crew through the entire project. The job was completed in just one day. I was amazed and extremely happy and satisfied with the quality of work.
I decided to have him rectify other drainage issues, put in a gravel bedding along a backyard fence line, and border my front garden and tree. The work he and his team did was beyond my expectations once again. Eric beautified my flower bed and tree by adding Hardwood Brown mulch. He even personally spread the fertilizer and weed killer that he recommended for me to purchase, which I greatly appreciated. I have received many compliments from neighbors on how professional looking my yard now looks.
Eric went above and beyond. He is extremely down to earth. He does not try to sell you more than what you ask for. If you mention that you want to do things on your own, like putting down fertilizer, weeding, etc. he advises and explains how to do it.
I highly recommend Eric and his team to take care of any of your sprinkler system, drainage and landscaping needs. If you hire a professional, you get professional results. Added bonus, Eric met my Dog Hazel and she gives her approval.
