Everyone at Top Gun was so friendly and explained everything. I ordered one system and changed my mind and ordered a different system before it was time for installation. They had no problem with changing it. The installers came out in just a few days and worked hard and were very friendly. They did an excellent job. It is performing wonderfully and is very quiet. We got the platinum variable speed because we are older and wanted one that will be very good and last a long time. American Standard has a great warranty on parts and Top Gun have a warranty that you can get that also covers labor. David, the salesman, that came to our house knew all about products and how everything worked. We are so glad we chose Top Gun Heat and Air in Keller, Texas. Thanks to everyone there.

The technicians who came out and worked on my A/C unit were great Kevin and his teammate which I can’t remember his name they were excellent. They did a great job. They were very friendly and even put up with all my questions and talking that I done, all the while they work to get the job done. I would highly recommend them to anybody. They are my new go to Company or air conditioning. I even got on their service plan because I was very satisfied with the work that Kevin Chavez and his teammate perform. I wish I could have remember his teammates name. Thank you Top Gun great job

I had a new American Standard AC installed on July 10th. The installers that showed up were Peter, Jesse, and Kaden. They showed up on time with the correct equipment and tools necessary for the install. The crew worked well together and had the unit up and running by 3 PM. Everything was done professionally. They also helped me to setup the unit and get it online. The system was exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased with the install. John was excellent to work with on the system design. I will be using Top Gun for all my AC needs.

Javier did reach out to try to listen to my issues and vowed to follow up after my previous review. That alone gets a 5 star.

I don’t remember how I first got started with Top Gun, but they have taken care of all our HVAC needs for 10 years. Always timely, quality, and a great value. Just finished a big AC installation in 95 degree weather and all went well!

Top Gun Heating and Air did an awesome job installing the new unit. Kevin C. and his team were professional and efficient. They were here on time and when they left, everything was cleaned up. Kevin walked me through the process of setting the app up so I can control the system with my phone. They quoted me 7500 to install an ERV, every other company I called was somewhere between 4000 and 3000.
These people even quoted me 4900 for just the install if I bought the unit and materials myself.

I had a major project at my home that involved the removal of an old, heavy attic furnace and R22 unit—equipment that had started causing structural issues in my attic due to its weight. This wasn’t a simple task. It required careful dismantling to avoid further damage, safe haul-away, and the relocation of the system back into the home’s original mechanical closet. The team executed this with great care and precision.

Planning the new system was no small feat. They worked closely with me to ensure proper duct sizing and airflow, and together we developed a solution that met both structural and performance needs. The new duct system was custom-built, and throughout the process, they took the time to make sure every detail was right. Jon, the owner, even came out personally to go over everything with me, and if something wasn’t quite right, they made it right—no hesitation.

Jon is a good and honest businessman, and it really shows in the culture of his team.

I especially want to recognize Kevin Chavez, who served as the team lead on my project. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was punctual, professional, respectful, and meticulous. This was a large and difficult job, but Kevin never once cut corners. His attitude and workmanship gave me full confidence in the process from beginning to end.

My system was commissioned back in April, but I waited a few months to post this review to be sure everything was running smoothly—and it is. I’m grateful for the high level of service and quality work delivered by this team.

Our AC went out on Thursday and we were told by other companies that we needed a new system but would have to wait. By Sunday the temp in our home creeped up to over 80 and I begun desperately searching for other quotes. I have reached out to several - Top Gun being one of them. I knew nothing about them and I did not expect to receive a text from them on a Sunday afternoon offering to come out and inspect the unit.
But that is what I got. The quote was reasonable, communication timely and service impeccable. Our new unit was installed and working within a day. They showed up on time, did the work, removed the old unit, cleaned up and left our house exactly how they found it.
We will not be dealing with anyone else going forward and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a repair or a new system.

Top Gun was great to work with from start to finish. I called them at the beginning of the week, and they were able to install a new A/C and furnace by Thursday. Everybody I spoke to at this company was friendly, courteous, and professional. Keep up the phenomenal job.

Called Top Gun yesterday for our summer check up. Received very prompt service. Jacob (a very nice and respectful young man) arrived the very next day at exactly the time they said he would. He cleaned the coils, changed my filters and reassured me the system is working well. It's a relief to know we have Top Gun to rely on. Shout out to Vanessa and Jonathan too! The name Top Gun was well earned. They showed up on time, 5 young men hit the ground running. They each knew their job and went to work. I was having a total removal and reinstall, so basically every thing new plus new blow in insolation. If you have seen the movie Top Gun and remember when like 5 migs are rotating around our F14 to try to get a shot, that’s what it looked like. I found it hard to believe with so much to do it would be installed and running in one day but it was. No complaints what do ever.

David was great at explaining every aspect of our new HVAC units. And giving me the options so that I can make the best informed decisions. He answered all my questions leading up to and on install day. The install crew was crazy good they finished two full systems in a single day. They worked efficiently and even though I didn’t realize they did didn’t take a break all day long. They also detected a gas leak by the gas meter and we called the gas company and they came right out and waited for the gas company to finish so they could test the heater. One of the heaters would not turn on and after discussing with the tech, they got the cooling working. And are sending a tech out to make everything fixed. The only thing that may be slightly negative is there were plastic pieces with metal spikes on them on the driveway and luckily I didn’t drive over them. They did an overall good job of cleaning up, that was the only negative thing but thankfully only minor since nothing happened! Very happy I went with top gun!

When an electrician was working on replacing the oven breaker directly adjacent to the A/C condenser breaker, it loosened it so the unit wasn’t drawing enough power.

Jonathon from Top Gun came out promptly and helped us out by diagnosing the issue. Top Gun is the best. They installed our new HVAC, it’s been great and they keep coming through for us.

Replacing my system has had me stressed for years and Top Gun Heating & AC repair made it such an easy process. They worked quickly but with precision and got everything set up. They took the time to explain each thing I would need to know about the system, the filters and the thermostats. Every single technician has been so polite and made me feel comfortable. Excellent service with patient explanations. Highly recommend!

They don't have the $99 club anymore for AC- (two free visits & one repair call per year and other perks). Now it's $25 a month and includes electrical and plumbing. I have plumbers & electricians already- just need Top Gun for AC. I'd rather pay $100 to $175 annual up front and be covered.

We received multiple quotes for a brand new HVAC and ductwork from local companies in the Fort Worth area. When David and Mike came out to give a quote, they spent nearly 2 hours breaking everything down and helping us to understand what was needed and evaluate what would be the best option for us. Means a lot for a company to invest so much time when you were making such a huge purchase. The other folks who came out to give us quotes definitely didn’t engage with us like David and Mike did. We ultimately chose to go with Top Gun and I am beyond thrilled that we made that choice. Literally the day after we said “Go” they had their crews at our house and knocked everything out in one day. Every single person that worked this job was an employee of Top Gun and was so polite and professional. You could tell that they all took so much pride in what they were doing, and really value the company that they work for. After they left, we actually had an issue with the thermostat and I called David at 9:30 PM on a Friday night and he had somebody out in 20 minutes to make things right - huge shout out to Jon for saving the day! This is one of the absolute best experiences we have ever had with a contracting company. The quality of work is EXCEPTIONAL and we are looking forward to having them as our #1 for all of our HVAC maintenance in the future. Thank you to David, Mike, Peter, Daniel, and everyone else on the crew who made this such a seamless experience. We couldn’t be happier!

I just had a good experience with Top Gun - we had AC failures and we needed two heat pumps ASAP. Scott was great and worked with our limited budget until we settled on two high SEER units that qualify for the fed tax credit.

UPDATE - March 2025:
We found out over this past winter that Top Gun connected the wires from the two new heat pumps to the thermostats incorrectly and we had no aux back-up heat on our heat pumps.

Kudos to John who got us fixed up and working correctly in a timely fashion. We think this is a stand-up company who we now can say has great a great service team. I have to rate them at 5 stars for their response to make things right.
