I had a horrible experience with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone. They’ll do shoddy work, overcharge you, deny you any amount of customer service, and probably not actually fix the problem you’re having. I regret contacting them, and feel robbed.

My AC went out one day (unit was clicking and not cooling), so I called and they sent someone out. The technician said that my coil was leaking and was very low on refrigerant. He said that he could patch the leak, and that the issue would be resolved once more refrigerant was added. He spent about 30 minutes outside then told me that the leak was fixed and the job was done.

A few days later, the unit completely stopped cooling. The house got up to 89 degrees. I called the company again. They asked when they could come out, and about 5 minutes later, and before I could respond, the same technician texted me saying he was on his way. At this point, we were frustrated with the service they provided and just told them not to come out at all. All of this cost us about $1450. Nothing was fixed and nothing was resolved.

I called Garner (another company) the next day. They sent someone out who told us we still had a leak in the same spot, and that whoever tried to patch it did a shoddy job. The solder was on the bottom of the pipe, indicating that it hadn’t been cleaned properly, and very little solder had actually been applied.

Garner said that we needed a new coil. This would cost about $6000, and they said the part would be difficult to source.

Finally, we ended up signing up for a home warranty and filling a claim in an attempt to actually get the issue resolved and save some money on (possibly) a new coil.

American Home Shield (the home warranty company) dispatched Climate Control Solutions. They sent someone out who confirmed that the technician from AIM did a poor job patching the leak, and that we had no refrigerant. It all leaked out in a few days. The technician from Climate Control Solutions confidently said that the leak could be patched, and he said we wouldn’t need a new coil after all.

Climate Control Solutions spent about an hour and a half (compared the the 30 minutes the AIM technician spent) patching the leak. It has held for weeks now, and the issue has been resolved.

At this point, I was extremely frustrated with having spent about $1450 on absolutely nothing with AIM. The technician from Climate Control Solutions indicated that the refrigerant should be warrantied with AIM, and that we should be able to get a refund for at least that, if not labor as well. After all, AIM effectively charged us $1450, without fixing anything at all.

I contacted AIM after that. I explained the situation, the fact that we were charged, but nothing was resolved, and that another company was able to actually do the work effectively (for $400 by the way). I told them that I expected a refund. An office administrator answered my email, saying that their manager was on vacation and if I didn’t hear anything in a few days to contact them.

I didn’t hear from them.

I emailed again, letting them know I still expected a refund and that I hadn’t heard from them.

No response.

A few days later, I emailed them again.

No response.

About a week after that, I emailed them again.

No response.

They are intentionally ignoring my emails, denying proper customer service, and keeping my money for a service that was ineffective and incomplete.

I’d highly recommend Garner Heating and Air or Climate Control Solutions over this company.

As I was writing this, a representative from AIM called in an attempt to explain away the issue. This was 10 minutes after I sent them an email saying I’d write this review. This was after about 3 weeks of no response and intentional ignoring. He was extremely rude, abrasive, dismissive, and said he wouldn’t give me a refund but he’d have the owners call later. Again, don’t use these people. Go somewhere else. They don’t understand customer service and they’re crooks.

I had a new heat pump and fan unit installed 2 years ago by another company. Each winter, my heat pump would run for 45 minutes just to get up 1-2 degree's warmer.
I called AIM to check if I had heat strips. Kenny came out and he found the problem quickly. The company who installed the new system did not connect the heat strip wiring...duh.
Kenny also reconfigured my thermostat and it displays my options whereas before, it did not display them all.
Kenny came on time. He was very pleasant. He gave me information what he was doing and what he was going to do next. He checked out the AC and the Heating.
I'm glad I learned about AIM AC & Heating Services. They are now my new GO TO company.

AIM has been taking care of my system for a number of years now. Their techs do a great job - always show up on time and are very professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for someone to replace your A/C unit, search no more! There's truly a few good HVAC companies out there to choose from, and it's a BIG investment. So we did our research & interviewed our top choices. We ended up hiring AIM A/C and Heating Services for a complete HVAC replacement in our 15 year old home, and we are absolutely confident we made the right choice. We spent quite a bit of time with Kevin King learning about our options (we have 2 zones which makes ours a little more complicated than most) and what his company provides. He is a tremendously likeable and trustworthy man to do business with. He educated us on things we didn't even know were options, and let us know at what point any extra money spent wouldn't give us a return on investment.

AIM was able to get the new unit ordered and ready in just 1 week. In the meantime, they came by our house TWICE (at no charge) to temporarily fix our existing unit just to get us through the 1 week wait. They responded to us so quickly, even though we hadn't even paid anything yet. That really impressed me. They will do whatever is possible to keep you comfortable until your new unit comes in.

They just left an hour or so ago after completing the all-day installation. Our new Lennox is purring quietly and it feels so good in here. I can't wait to see our next electricity bill! The technicians that came to our house (and Kevin came by, too) were very professional and friendly. They made sure to keep any mess to a minimum and cleaned up 100% when they were done. Then Cesar Posas spent the extra time afterward to educate us on everything, get us completely set up online, and answer any questions we had. He even got our iPhone apps set up/connected so we can manage everything from our phones. Then afterwards AIM does the paperwork of registering your warranty and filing any rebates (PEC has one right now) for you.

If you have any questions about who to call for service and/or a new HVAC system, you can't go wrong with AIM. I highly recommend them!

*Ask them about the REME Halo -- I'm super excited about this new technology that cleans your air and kills germs. We've got pets and cooking sometimes fills the house with that "smell" (especially after frying). According to Kevin, and the REME Halo website, it actively cleans the air of those smells and more. Can't wait to give a review on that in a few weeks!

EDIT 07/20/2021 -- It's been 11 months since we had our new HVAC installed. I am thrilled to report that our electricity bill has substantially decreased with this new system -- an average of 35-40% decrease every month. That's a huge, substantial savings! Also, the REME HALO Whole Home Air Purification system is sooooo worth it! Whenever we get an odd smell (like burned dinner!), the scent is eliminated incredibly fast. Our air smells fresh & clean all the time. Also, our allergies are definitely improved. REME Halo is worth the little extra $$.

We have been working work AIM for years at our business and really appreciate the whole team's dedication and service! They are priced fairly and always communicate options. I also use them at my house and am happy to receive the same great service.

We just had our Summer HVAC checkup and Kenny was our technician. He was very personable and polite. He was very knowledgeable with our system and helped us with a couple of issues we were having with our thermostat. He was very thorough with our checkup and we are very satisfied with our service. We would highly recommend Kenny.

Kenny was very polite and courteous. He explained what the issue was and my opinions. For now we will wait on the repair but when we are ready AIM will get our call.

Highly recommend AIM A/C heating services for all your A/C needs. We’ve been using them for 2 years, and have remained happy with their services. We have used AIM in the past and have always been happy with their service. We recently took bids to have the HVAC system in our home replaced. This is an expensive purchase, and we wanted to be sure we were getting not only a competitive price but selecting a professional and competent contractor.

We are VERY SATISFIED with the job AIM did for us. Kevin did a great job on the initial consultation. He was very knowledgeable and informative, bringing up several points which other contractors had missed.

The installation was scheduled promptly, equipment was ordered, and they showed up when they said they would. Kevin came along for the installation to help out Sesar and Jordan. The installation was very smooth, and the guys had our new system up and running quickly. They were skillful, professional and friendly.

Our new system is amazing and SO quiet I really never hear it run. We are very happy with the work they did for us and highly recommend them if you need A/C or heating work done.

Kenny has been my AC technician for several years now. He has maintained my system very well despite its age creeping up on it. He is very courteous, timely and answers all of my questions. The reason I have stayed with AIM is due to Kenny’s expertise. It has been very unusual, but extremely helpful that I have had the same technician for 4-5 years now. Speaks well of AIM and their relationship with their employees. But I can’t speak highly enough of Kenny and can’t thank him enough for his great service to me and my AC.
