Tree Shepherds has done multiple jobs for me, two of which were extremely tall and had ground obstacles around them that couldn't get hit. Their arborists are VERY knowledgeable. They will tell you if a tree is sick or not, if it's got life left in it or it is at the end of it's lifespan. Some of them will nerd out on you about it, which I found fascinating. They don't use day laborers, and their workers are certified and trained to climb and cut. Joe, Marcus, Marco, and John came out this last time. Their professionalism was unmatched and it was fun to watch them work. I used another popular local company long ago, but Tree Shepherds has been, and will be, my go-to.

On Dec 2 Josh, Micha and Rodolfo trimmed my trees and were here most of the day and did a great job. Tree debris was all cleaned up when they finished. Josh was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with, explained what would be done . Stan came a month before and gave me a quote explaining why my trees needed certain trimming, for the health of trees. I highly recommend Tree Shepherds and will certainly use them in my future tree needs.

Our entire group of family were impressed with the job at its finish. We sure had a lot of wood to get rid of. Stan explained the needs of our trees and what the "shepherds"were going to do to remove the stress from our biggest ones to the needs of the smaller one. Josh and his crew (Marcos and Marco) worked tiressly in the heat of the day to get the job done. The trees look beautiful again and will be for years to come. Great job fellows. See you next time.

We are very happy with the job done by Joseph, Marco, Marcus, and Oz. The salesman arborist, Stan, explained in great detail all that needed to be done on our five trees.
The crew arrived on time, let us know what they were going to be doing and got to work. Several times Joseph checked with us to make sure everything was okay. At one point, we asked him to do a little more trimming and shaping on one tree and he did so without any pushback.
When they finished, they cleaned up and told us we could pay them with a check or with a card on the portal and left.
I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

I have three huge pecan trees and one huge live oak. This was my third time to use Tree Shepherds and once again I am extremely happy. Several of my neighbors have been happy with them as well. Their crews have always done an outstanding job for me and my neighbors. It’s a great comfort to know my trees are being pruned by professionally trained people. And they always do a great job of cleaning up too.

Believe me when I say you don’t want your trees trimmed by just anyone. You need a certified arborist, otherwise the results could be disastrous.

UPDATE: It’s been about six months since tree shepherds were out here, but I needed them back to trim the live oak tree in my front yard to allow more sun onto my grass. Once again, they did not disappoint. They were as aggressive as they could be without causing damage to the tree, or a surge growth response which would put me right back in the same place.

Joseph, Marco, Marcus, and Oz definitely allowed more light on my grass which will save my lawn. And the cleanup was spectacular. Much appreciated guys.

We have had Tree Shepherds out to take care of our trees several times now, and we could not be happier with their work. The arborists who came out (Clayton, John, Joseph, Marco, and Travis) were excellent - very friendly and willing to accommodate requests to maximize shade while still preserving the health of the trees. Stan did our quote and took the time to explain why he was recommending the services he quoted. They were extremely tidy and even took care not to damage flower beds beneath the trees they worked on. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who appreciates the value your trees add to your living space!

My wife had scheduled a consult to have one of two of our live oaks removed from our front yard after being told by others that they were too close together. Austin had talked us off the cliff and instead helped us formulate a plan to best care for the trees as they both grow and to one day form a beautiful canopy in our front yard. He checked out all of our trees and we ended up scheduling a trimming and pruning service instead.

Joseph, Travis, and Marco came out within a week and were all very professional and well educated and experienced. They were efficient and calculated in their work and made an extra effort to ensure all of the trimmings were cleaned up from the yard and that we were satisfied with their service.

Hats off to Austin, Joseph, Travis, and Marco. Thanks to them we’ll know who to call and be comfortable calling any time we need tree services knowing it will be reasonable and done right!

Tree Shepherds just performed the first professional pruning of my four trees (2 live oaks and 2 maples) this morning, and although they knew I would be very scrutinizing of their work and hands on, I have nothing but praise and thanks to the crew who accomplished such a successful and beautiful trimming, especially of the tree branches which had grown over our roof and scrapped off shingles in the past. Many kudos to Osvaldo De Santiago, Rodolfo, and Travis who were not only very professional and knowledgeable but also caring and patient and listened. I highly recommend Tree Shepherds for your tree needs and will use them exclusively in the future.

I had a cottonwood tree whose roots were destroying my septic system. Tree Shepherds came to the rescue! James came out and accessed the situation and then Kim from the office, who is super friendly, called to set up the appointment to get the tree cut down. Joshua came to my door and walked me to the site and explained to me exactly what they were going to do and how long it was going to take. The other two that were there, Victoria and Rodolfo, were very friendly, competent and skilled at their job. Before I knew it, there was no trace left of the tree! I have used Tree Shepherds for decades now and will continue to recommend and use them!

My mom and I have used Tree Shepherds for years because they do great work. Stan gave a fair estimate, and the crew of Joshua, Jordan, and Rodolfo did an OUTSTANDING job trimming all my trees, going above and beyond to ensure excellence! Highly recommend.

Contacted Tree Shepards at a neighbors house a couple of weeks ago. Joshua Jones was able to give me an estimate on removal of two trees. I was then able to talk with Kim and set up an appointment for Josh and his crew with Marco and Marcus. Arrived on time and my job was finished in short order with everything cleaned up and no damage to any other plants under the trees. They know what they’re doing the and it was done safely. My experience with Tree Shepherds was exceptional as always. From start to finish, from Kim inside, who helped me schedule, to Austin, who evaluated and proposed the scope of the job, to Josh, Marco and Marcus who lead and performed the work. Everyone was professional, thorough and efficient. As always, I learned something new about trees along the way, which helps me take care of them. The end result is beautiful Live Oak, that stands out in the neighborhood!

We are very happy with the work Tree Shepherds did on our Live Oak. With all the rain, our oak tree had gotten really huge. Stan walked through how Live Oaks behave/grow and how the trimming would be performed to sculpt the growth in the way we want. Joseph, Marco, Marcus, and Tyler arrived on time, and chatted with us regarding their approach before starting the work. They worked hard for hours and did an excellent job trimming the tree. The yard was totally clean when they finished and my 6yr old loved watching the chipper. The tree looks great!

I contacted Tree Shepherds to get the trees on the front of my house cleaned up and have downward and dead growth pruned.

Stan came by the talk through the work and the trees on my lot; the estimate was quick to work through and the information shared on the type of trees I have and some basics on tree care and maintenance.

The turnaround for the pruning was fast - less than two days from estimate to pruning. John, Rodolfo, and Travis got here right on time, talked through the upcoming work outlined in the estimate, and got to it. They stayed on top of the cleanup while they were working and made the entire appointment seamless. The recap at the end of the effort was great. The trees look perfect and Tree Shepherds is going into the contact book for my tree care going forward!

Tree Shepherds has done AWESOME work for me over the years! I highly recommend them. This week John, Abraham, Marco and Marcus were responsible for trimming the trees in my yard. John walked me through the process, answering any questions I might have. The crew then did a very good job of both trimming the trees and cleaning up afterwards. I am very impressed! During the most recent batch of storms, I was so happy to have only lost one to two very small branches. This is a testament to the quality work that they have done with our trees. In past years, our pruned trees have taken a beating every spring with the storms. We have lost several large limbs. After our last pruning with Tree Shepherds, this all changed for the best!

We appreciated the professionalism of the arborist who came to talk to us. He explained the health and status of our yard's trees in detail. We have been in our house for over 20 years and the foliage is a very important part of our landscape. Tree Shepherds did a fantastic job with my trees! From the initial consult with Stan, to the actual trimming with Joshua J, Marco, and Marcus B., they listened to our needs and helped us make informed decisions about what would be best. They showed up on time and were very efficient. They cleaned everything up and made sure I was satisfied before they left! They will be the first ones we call when it’s time to do it again!

We have used Tree Shepherds several times. The most recent was tree trimming, and the service was excellent as always from the consultation to the actual work being done. I’ve been using Tree Shepherds for over 5 years now and they never disappoint. Most recently I brought them out to trim and prune my crape myrtles and they did a fantastic job. Shout out Josh, Marco, and Quintarius for their fantastic work.
