These guys did an amazing job! After buying a house a couple years ago, it was time to give the trees the care they needed. Some had to come down, most just needed pruning. Stan did our consultation and he was very knowledge and great at explaining all the details. Joshua and his crew were also very knowledgeable about what the trees needed (as each type has different needs) and they did a great job. All of the trees now look stable, safe, and most importantly healthy. And the crew was meticulous in cleaning up after themselves. We highly recommend Tree Shepherds, as we will keep going to them for all of our tree servicing.

Thank you to Abe, Tyler and Oz for the work they did on all my trees and taking down our dead willow tree. This crew worked hard to get the job done cleaned up well afterward. All of my trees look great and I am pleased with the result. Paulette

The Tree Shepherds came highly recommended from a retired arborist. Stan did a thorough evaluation with recommendations on services needed. Their office was quick to schedule appointments and provided service reminders. Joshua, Marco, and Marcus did a great job pruning my trees. As a retired educator, I really appreciate the education they provide about what needs to be done and why.

We recently had Tree Shepherds prune three live oaks in our front yard and remove a very large bur oak in our back yard. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. Stan, the arborist who gave us the quote, was wonderful and knowledgeable. The crew that pruned the trees—Josh, Rodolfo, and Travis—were incredible. We were very comfortable having them on our property and they were extremely friendly. Our trees have never looked so good!! We requested the same crew for the tree removal and once again they did incredible work. And this time they had Jordan helping them. A thank you to all of them!

We will be using only Tree Shepherds for any future work and will recommend the company to others.

Our group of trees consists of 4 different varieties. The objective was to have them raise the canopy to improve visual appeal. John Pinney spent the morning asking questions and taking pictures. The field crew was great to work with as they obtained our input prior to shaping each tree. Tree Shepherds provided a professional service essential to the long term health and beauty of our trees.

The entire communication, work and clean up efforts were awesome! Stan came out to provide the quote, spent over an hour giving advice, providing detail, no "upselling", just, "this is what is needed now and what might be needed in the future.

GI Joe, Marco, Marcus and John were polite, hard working, and didn't flinch when the strong Texas winds were knocking them around in the trees. They were also great about making sure everything was cleaned up!

Huge thank you to Joshua, Micha, Rodolfo, Jayle, John and Austin with Tree Shepherds. Austin came for the initial consult and estimate. He took the time to answer all my questions, provided great indepth information and even told my why one of my oaks was growing weird and how to fix it.

Then Joshua, Micha, Rudolf, Jayle and John came out and cleaned up three of my big live oak. Everyone was very knowledgeable and left me no doubt they were highly skilled in thier work. All my questions were answered, the process and work to be done was clearly and throughly set out on thier arrival, they checked in with me to make sure I was good with the progress and thier focus was on the health of the trees. They left me firewood for future use and plenty of chips per my request. By far one of the most professional crews I've had out to do any work on my place and left the area cleaned up better than they found it. They all went far above and beyond. Tree Shepards will be who takes care of my trees from now on.

We are so grateful for this company and the service provided to the community. We have picked up a load and also had a load delivered to our home for landscaping/mulch purposes. They are responsive, communicative, friendly, on time and professional. We will continue receiving their wood chips year after year, so long as they are in business. These natural resources are so good for our yards eco system.

Meant to leave a review sooner, but I'll never go with another arborist service in the area after having numerous excellent consultations and trimmings from Tree Shepherds. We specifically talked with Caden for our initial consultation. Then we had a treatment and trim of our ash tree from Abraham, John, Joseph, and Micha (sorry if I left anyone out!). Every interaction was professional and informative. As a household that really cares about the local ecology, Tree Shepherds give us a lot of solace that the work being done is truly from a love of trees and care for the environment. Everyone with an ash tree needs to get them on the phone ASAP so we can combat the emerald ash borer!

We are thrilled with the results the Tree Shepherds crew accomplished today on our cedar elm. They removed all the mistletoe and pruned it so that it can continue to grace our yard with it's beauty and shade. Josh, Tyler, Jordan, and Rodolpho make a great team, working together like a well-oiled machine. We especially enjoyed watching Rodolpho walk up the rope into the tree canopy to work. :) This is not the first time we've had them out and it won't be the last. I can whole-heartedly recommend them for any arborist work you might need.

2nd time I used Tree Shepherds, seamless coordination between Stan who quoted the job and the cut crew of Abraham, Red and Tyler. Before they started, we did a walk down of the job, explained what they would be doing, asked me if I had a specific issues I wanted addressed. Did a great job on my trees; took great care not to damage flowers and plants in beds around the trees; cleaned up the yard of cuttings, twigs and leaves. Not the cheapest, but when you want your trees cut and shaped to complement your yard and house, I would highly recommend Tree Shepherds.

Tree Shepherds did an excellent job trimming and pruning are trees. They were efficient and curious. They cleaned up all debris leaving our yard better then when they started. We highly recommend Abe, Marco and Tyler!

Abe, Red, and Tyler were on time, focused, and did a great job completing two tree removals and a trimming. They were also very kind to my son that was very interested in the process. 10/10 recommend!

We have used Tree Shepherds many times. Most recently last week to remove a 125+ year old Post Oak. I got 5 estimates. Tree Shepherds was the 2nd to the lowest quote. I didn't chose them because of this. I chose them because they had done quality work for us before. And have done work at our neighbors. Kim in the office was amazing, polite and honest. The workers were quick and clean. From top to bottom. they were amazing. I have passed their information around to our neighborhood email chain. I will only contact TREE SHEPHERDS in the future for any of our tree needs.

Tree Shepherds came out today to remove a dead tree and remove dead wood on our trees in our backyard. They were professional and courteous. The crew did an amazing job! Thank you Joseph S., Jordan James, Marco Santiago and Marcus Ballard. I would totally recommend them to anyone.

We had Tree Shepherds come out last year to perform root flare excavation in our front yard, along with tree trimming and pruning, and we were very pleased with the results. This year, they trimmed and pruned the trees in both the front and backyard. Several backyard trees were hanging over our roof and extending over the fence into our neighbor’s yard, and those issues were addressed thoroughly. We also have a tree that is not healthy but not yet ready for removal; they recommended cabling and bracing in the future as a precaution in case it fails.

They may be on the expensive side, but they are certified and clearly know what they’re doing. We’ve used basic lawn care services in the past, and the difference in quality and results is noticeable.

We plan to have them return in the spring to improve our tree canopy, as we have approximately 22 trees in our backyard.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable professionals who truly care about protecting and maintaining trees.

This was my first experience, pruning a large live oak in our yard, and Tree Shepherds did a fantastic job. Stan was great on the initial proposal answering lots of questions about tree care, and our trimming team of Josh. Jordan and Rodolfo were fantastic in making our tree look its best and keeping it healthy. I was really impressed at how quickly and efficiently they worked and also what a great job they did with cleanup at the end. We will definitely use Tree Shepherds again.
