My technician Ray was outstanding. He arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He seemed very knowledgeable about the task he was performing and got everything done in a timely manner. Best of all, the service didn't break the bank and came with a warranty. I would definitely recommend this company if you are in need of appliance repairs.

UPDATE : I have been reached out in hopes of finding a solution to my recurring dryer problem. They were more than willing to come back to help me fix my thermostat and work to help find the root cause of my dryer and assist in anyway. I will continue to update as the steps to solving our problem continues to be resolved .

I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received from Ultrafix! The technician arrived promptly and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my dryer and had it fixed in no time.

Had UltraFix come out to check on my freezer which was not cooling properly. The technician stated that my evaporator fan motor was broken and I would need to replace it ($660 parts and labor). I paid half of this amount as a deposit for them to order the part and fix the issue later in the week. I had a second technician from a different company come out to double check their work, and that technician showed me that the fan was working perfectly fine and that was 100% not the issue (he had me feel the air blowing through the vent with my own hands). The second technician was honest and told me that he wouldn’t recommend fixing the issue (leak) because it would likely cost in excess of $1,000 with no guarantee that it would hold up for much longer than a year, and to look at buying a new freezer given the age of it.

I called UltraFix and informed them of this news, and asked for them to cancel the part order and my future service appointment, and refund me what I paid. They insisted they could not refund me unless I provided them with an invoice from the other company. I told them I would not be doing that and they would need to refund me due to the fact they had charged me for a part and labor which they had not yet provided to me... not to mention they got the diagnosis completely wrong and were going to charge me $660 to fix something that was working perfectly fine. After one person hung up on me, and more pushback from UltraFix with me not budging, they finally agreed to refund me everything but the service fee and shipping fee on the part they claim they immediately ordered. Note that during this process the guy on the phone from UltraFix stated that the fan motor replacement was only the first step of the repair process, and if that didn’t work, they would move on to repairing the compressor that would cost ~$1,400. The technician NEVER mentioned this to me - he said replacing the fan motor would fix the issue. I would never have agreed to a $1,400 repair when a brand new freezer is not much more than that amount.

Would not recommend. Extremely shady.

Find a local repair man do not use this company. They will overcharge you and say things are broken that aren’t broken and they’ll just start replacing stuff to replace it.

Do not trust unless you want to get overcharged and pay for things that aren’t actually broken

Our 20years old refrigerator stopped working on a Friday night. I was already looking for a new one but then we decided to make one try and we sent a message to UltraFix. They answered immediately at 7am the following morning and scheduled Ray to come Saturday morning itself. Ray is simply amazing and professional, he diagnosed the unit for almost one hour to avoid expensive and useless repairs and he came to the right conclusion. It took one week to get the spare part, but for a 20years old unit I consider it fair. Ray came again to install the part and was very careful and attentive in installing and cleaning after his work. Fridge work fine and they gave a 3 months warranty.

I am a real estate agent and had clients that needed someone to come out and look at their stove. We selected UltraFix based on the many great reviews they had. I called them on a Tuesday around 9 am and by 10:30 that same day they had a technician out. They ordered the part, called me when it was available and came back out the following Tuesday to replace it. Overall I’d say they did a great job, were super fast and honest. I would definitely recommend them to future clients.

He cleaned behind our washer and dryer after fixing the dryer and even helped us kill a bug we found😂 couldn’t recommend this guy more! We will be keeping his information for next time we need help!
