I had never used this electrician before, but I needed one quick. At 8:30 on a Friday, I booked them solely because they said they'd be here between 10 and 1 on that Friday. At 12:30, I got a call saying they'd be here late. Okay, when? 3 was the response. At 3:30 they still hadn't shown up, so I called and the answering service said they'd call back. At 4, they called, said "can't make it today, see you tomorrow." I stayed home all day waiting on them, but what choice did I have anymore at 4pm on a Friday. So I got them to promise me that I'd be the first appt on Saturday. What time, I asked? 8 or 8:30 am was the response.

Cut to Saturday. 8 goes by, 8:30 goes by. I call at 9:30 and say what's up? The answering service says they'll prioritize my call. They'll get back to me in 10 min. At 10:30, with no call back, I call again -- I'm told they're reassigning the appt to a new electrician with the same company. Definitely be out today. At 11:30, I get a call saying the truck's broken down, they'll be out Monday. Yeah, right. I cancel. "That's fine," says the lady calling.

The confirmation booking email you get from this company says “100% satisfaction guaranteed.” That’s a load of bull. A cynical person might be tempted to think that they allowed me to book an appt they knew they’d be unable to keep just to get me from calling other electricians, that they’d eventually service this call on their schedule vs. mine, even if that meant days later.

The one thing I’m happy about here is that when I initially booked this appt, the answering service – Premium Home Services? – tried to get me on a home warranty plan. I actually considered it, but then decided I needed to try out their service people before signing on to such a plan. I’m very glad I didn’t fall for that pitch.

Mark was great to work with, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to trouble shoot the issue and then offered suggestions. The work was completed quickly and the price was fair. I will definitely use them again.

I was very satisfied with the work performed by Mark with Milton's Electric. His attitude was the high point of an already good customer experience. The price was higher than I had expected when I contacted them, but I was told the final cost before Mark began any work, and the charges were fully explained to me to ensure I knew what I was getting before anything happened. Milton's dispatcher told me that there would be no charge other than the $179 that I pre-paid (plus parts) for the tech to come out.

First of all the tech never showed for the appointment window, and I never even got a call.

Then, after the appointment, I received an invoice for a service that wasn’t done at our house and on top of that an additional $169 in charges, despite the dispatchers agreement.

Ive called to resolve it and both support representatives listened to the recorded phone call and had no disagreement about my claim, but instead of correcting the fraudulent invoice, they only wanted to give a small discount.

We recently become a Next customer via a referral from my neighbor. They have restored my faith and trust in their industry again. Ryan and the entire Next team have top professionals. They have delivered on every promise made. I can’t recommend Next enough! Wish I could give them 10 stars!

HORRIBLE. Claimed an alarm panel was broken/needed to be replaced when it was COMPLETELY FINE. Total scam company.

Next Electronic Systems did an excellent job in transforming my home to a smart home including several TV's, centrally controlled lights and garage operation. Next continued to come out until the home was customized and easy to operate. All their personnel were knowledgable and very professional.

Next Electronics has installed and maintained our Security Camera System (inside and outside), our Board room video system, our Whiteboard display system, and our monitor display systems in two locations. Next Electronic Systems did a great job installing the Control 4 Home Automation System in our house. The integration job was a challenge with our Nuvo sound system, Aqua-link pool controller, security / camera system, Luton lighting, televisions, gates, and more... Net, we had a mess of applications that needed to made easier to control and use. Their employees were awesome, clean, timely and good humored. As in all cases, stuff happens down the road. Again, always willing to come back in good spirits and make the necessary adjustments. A first in home electronics & music services for us... Next is doing a sizable home automation project for us that includes Entertainment, Security Systems, Light Programming as well as other systems around the property. I've been so impressed with their entire team, from our project lead, who orders all of the equipment, to the folks that actually implement the products. Next also has an extremely good reputation with all of the vendors that they work with on our project. Flawless execution of a very complicated project, can't say enough about how good Next Electronic Systems is!!!

Next has always provided us with competent, reliable service, especially Sergio and his crew. Not only do they help us with our audio and video needs but most recently they upgraded our computer network and infrastructure. They did a great job. Scott Ferguson and the Next team are top notch. I have worked with Crestron and Lutron designers and installers in 5 different projects around the country, and our experience with Next is the best of them all. Hands down the very best in Austin for high-end residential A/V and home control. It's been a pleasure to work with this team for ~10 years at multiple properties. They are completely honest and trustworthy. They probably won't be the cheapest, but they'll make your house the happiest.

Can’t comment on their craftsmanship but I can comment on distasteful behavior. Tailgating drivers through residential neighborhood while kids are going to school in 78730 area. Really classy….
