My insurance company sent Shane and his crew after Hurricane Berryl so I didn't have the luxury of going through reviews first but I lucked out because these guys are amazing! The top half of my pecan tree snapped off and fell on my shed roof and Shane and crew were out immediately after the storm to remove and patch the roof. They were able to work magic with ropes and the remaining branches of the tree to remove and cut a very large chunk of tree from the shed without any additional damage to the shed or deck. They are very skilled in what they do and it was impressive watching them work. They cleaned up after themselves before they left and made the claims process easy and hassle free.

Twice I’ve hired Specialty Tree Care to remove multiple trees and do extensive trimming. They truly have amazing crews. The owner, Shane, came out both times to bid the work. He’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly and gave me very fair prices both times. His guys are pros, and did better work than any other company I’ve used. They are time, work at an amazing pace, did more than I expected and picked up every last bit of trimmings. Leaving my place cleaner than when they arrived! I have all the confidence in the world with these guys.

The guys at Specialty Tree Care came to our rescue after Hurricane Helene. The entire city was buried in trees and there were companies that were taking full advantage of the situation. Shane approached us on the street and offered a quote that was half of the one we had just received from a local company. His guys arrived early on a Sunday morning, as promised, and removed the giant oak from our home. We were so impressed with their work that we let them remove the other trees we had on our other properties. We even started referring them to friends and neighbors and everyone was pleased with their work. Shane was so friendly and great to work with.

I recently hired Specialty Tree Care to do an extensive clean out and pruning of 10 large trees on our property. They cleaned out 8 very large Live Oaks , 1 giant Red Oak and 1 Burr Oak and removed two huge limbs from our Red Oak, one of which was hanging too low over our roof. It took their crew of 3 men, two full days to do all the work and they did a great job with no
apparent damage to our roof. Our trees are now quite beautiful and by raising the canopies and removing the huge limbs, we can now drive our small RV all the way through our semi circular driveway. Shane, the company arborist and owner, provided a concise estimate of the cost of the project and proof of insurance. He, as well as crew leaders, Joaquim and Marcus, were extremely easy to work with, very polite and very accommodating to anything I wanted changed. The project cost was higher than competitor estimates but the competitors only included 1 day of work rather than the 2 days Shane provided. After witnessing how hard the crews worked, I’m sure 1 day would not have been adequate to do as much as Shane’s crews did. Based on my experience with the company, I can highly recommend Specialty Tree Care services.

I’ve been working with Shane and his team for approximately eight years. I appreciate they meet to listen to your requests and review the trees prior to preparing a proposal. Fees are always reasonable and fair.
This is a very professional and skilled team of tree specialists with all the right equipment, including safety harnesses, etc. Everyone is always thoughtful and sensitive to cleanup in your yard as well as neighbors.

These guys are A-1 pros. I ask for 3 things when I need a job done - dependability, productivity and efficiency - and they checked every box. I got a no cost estimate and the actual work completed all within a weeks time. The owner, Shane, came out personally on both occasions to ensure I got the best deal along with the pruning I had requested. His crew were fantastic as well. They took great care to remove the trimmed brush and even raked leaves from the yard that had fallen. Best for last, though - I saved hundreds of dollars while having a much more thorough job done comapred to another company I had used previously. Shane and his crew did an amazing job! From start to finish the process was quick and easy. They offer FREE quotes as well. They were not only attentive on our needs but ensured they were trimming the correct limbs to help keep our privacy! This was our first time using them and we will definitely be returning customers. We had used Brack before to remove a tree and they did excellent work and we asked him to come back and do trimming and clean out dead wood in a number of oak and pecan trees. His crew did an amazing job pruning and removing old dead wood and the landscape looks beautiful. I would recommend their services without reservation.
