Curtis Kurka, the plumber who came to our home, was very professional, friendly, and quick to get the work done.

This is the second time Excalibur Plumbing worked on our home. In both cases, they came the same day we called and got the work done quickly.

In both cases, their prices were reasonable.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

We have used Excalibur before with good results, so called them when we needed water softener service and a tankless water heater flush. Turned out to be a bigger job than we thought as the softener was kaput and the heater flush valves were inoperable. Excalibur got the job done! I would note that it took us a few tries to reach someone at Excalibur: the call-back request form on the web site did not seem to have any effect (two tries) and two calls went unanswered.

Excalibur was responsive, professional and did very good work in a timely manner. They were much more reasonably (sensibly) priced compared to other price gouging peer companies.

Curtis did a fantastic job replacing 3 corroded bathroom faucets, valves and traps.Took him all day and ended up sawing out old steel pipe! Professional and courtesous. I’ve used Excalibur before and will use them again and will ask for Curtis.

Curtis was pleasant to work with. He was knowledgeable and seemed to really care about doing a great job so that we wouldn’t have problems later on down the road. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Quick diagnosis. Called at midnight when my water heater turned into a waterfall and actually got a human to answer!! Got on the schedule for the next day. Curtis was great. Explained the issue simply and got right to work. Gave me a 1/2 off labor discount!! New fittings, new valve, pan!! Never been this excited for a new water heater before.

Curtis was absolutely fantastic!! He was so helpful. He answered all our questions. He explained everything ... starting with the least expensive simple option, then if the repair would be more detailed he also discussed that. Lucky for us the least expensive was able to be done (4 faucets needed to be replaced). Curtis did an excellent job. Friendly, knowledgeable, careful, respectful of our cat too. Quality service. Excalibur Plumbing was fantastic and everything what I was hoping for! I called and was able to speak to someone who quoted me for a water heater replacement, and their pricing was better than 4-5 other plumbers. They scheduled me for the next day, the tech called 30 min prior to arriving, arrived at the time quoted. Both techs were knowledgeable, very respectful, and completed the job under two hours! They gave helpful maintenance tips and overall were excellent! There is a reason they have such high rating, extremely professional, high customer service standards, and experienced. Curtis did an outstanding job. He serviced my tankless water heater and inspected all faucets, bathroom plumbing, and garbage disposal. He explained what need repairs and showed me why. Curtis now is my preferred plumber.

I noticed one of our customer valve boxes full of water and called Excalibur immediately. Curtis came out and started work immediately to see where the leak was. He explained everything that he needed to do and left me with some great recommendations for the future to keep our water lines and valves maintained and up to date. Couldn't have asked for more and he did a great and neat job. Very personable and caring individual.

I wish that I could give Curtis 10 stars. I had a massive leak in my master bathroom. In no time my hardwood floors in my master bedroom were under water. Curtis had the leak diagnosed (a very unusual leak) in a very short amount of time. He then fixed the leak quickly. But for Curtis things would have gotten much worse very fast. I cannot thank him enough! He really knows his stuff!!

My son recently called me a told me the main line from the water meter at the street, to the house, had ruptured. The street was flooded and someone called the city to shut off the water to the house. Excaliber plumbing responded to my call for a quote within 30 minutes and had the repair done, and water restored, in 48 hours. This work meant digging up the yard and replacing 40 feet of 75 year old galvanized pipe. It passed city inspection and was covered in less than a week. These guys were on it, and realized the inconvenience of being without water. The price was fair and reasonable, and the customer service was excellent. I'll use them again if the need ever arises. Plumbing was fine. Price was fine. The fact that the unsubscribe button on their emails doesn't actually unsubscribe is NOT fine. Not only was I signed up for marketing emails I didn't want (seriously, plumbing service is not a luxury good--marketing emails won't get me to install a garbage disposal every 3 months) but this ridiculous review request seems to be sent every other week now. Because the unsubscribe button doesn't work, I'm sharing my experience. Excalibur Plumbing, please get a handle on this--it's a nuisance.

I should also say, whatever marketing service they use does not respond to emails even when sent to non-noreply email addresses. They just keep sending and sending and sending...

Curtis was a pro! Super efficient, knowledgeable, and also taught me some new tips on how to manage the water heater system. Really appreciate Excalibur and will be calling them back for future needs!

He came today to look at something in my house which needed attention and ended up also helping me with something else.
I wish all Americans had Curtis’ work ethic and plumbers had his knowledge.

I have used Excalibur to install my water softeners in my last two homes. They are professional, reasonably priced, and their workmanship quality is very good.

Had Excaliber reinstall 3 toilets, kitchen faucet, fix seals under a sink, etc.. Richard and the other tech (?) did a great job as they have done on other jobs for me.

Called Excalibur Plumbing one day and got a new water heater installed the next day. Excalibur’s meticulous records made the process of scheduling service and professional installation seamless. The technicians arrived exactly when they said they would, which was impressive and refreshing. Excalibur Plumbing has gained a loyal customer.

Curtis was very helpful. He helped me get my garbage disposal working and a few years ago he replaced my pressure reduction valve. Usually available same day or next day and they do good work. I've used them since I moved to Leander 16 years ago.

Have used Excalibur Plumbing for years. Couldn’t get our water heater to relight after flushing it. They got me scheduled the same day after going out of their way to try and help me solve the issue over the phone.
Technician arrived on time and they were able to identify the issue within 5 minutes. It was a faulty spark generator switch. This time I will have to order it directly from Rheem since they didn’t have any of that discontinued part.
Highly recommend them. Always easy to work with, honest and don’t try to upsell you unnecessarily.
