Electrical reviews in Lewisville, Texas

We called Lumen to come out and give us a bid to hang ceiling fans and add dimer switches in our home. Gave us a great price and was super flexible and easy to work with! Was grateful to have done business with them!

Great service and great work for a great price! We've had Lumen out for two very different jobs (Installing lighting in a new commercial building and renovating the electric system in a turn-of-the-century farmhouse) and both were handled with care and efficiency, with impressive follow-up to make sure everything was working correctly. I work with a lot of contractors and they're among the best in any field.

Working with these guys was simple and easy. As a long time veteran of the construction industry, it's nice to find a company and people like Ben who are trustworthy and reliable. Highly recommend.

They were great and easy to deal with. Added lighting in my upper cabinets. Treated us like family and recommended to everyone!

Our business hired Lumen Lighting to replace all of the lights in our new warehouse and run power for a gate and garage door opener.
While they were there, they noticed a Federal electrical panel which is a tremendous fire hazard. They were able to correct this issue as well in a timely and cost effective manner.
These guys do outstanding work at a fair price. Give them a call!

Absolutely one of the worst experience I've ever had dealt with for any service. I called them on Wednesday to schedule an appointment on Friday from 11am to 2 pm for an electrician to come repair couple light fixtures in one of my properties, the reason I went with them was because they can do it on Friday, the others I called all have to be on Monday of the following week. I was told the service charge is $99 and the repair is extra, which is fine because that's pretty standard for any certified electricians.
Then on Friday morning at 10am I got a call from them to ask about the work description. Apparently instead of "repair" they put down "install" and the guy on the phone told me that's not something he can do. So I called the office and long story short, after multiple calls, this is what I got:
The person they dispatched to this job CANNOT do the repair (funny how a certified electrician can't do repair huh? And if this person isn't a certified electrician then why would they charge me certified electrician rate) so they have already rescheduled to Monday (without asking about my availability) because they couldn't dispatch someone who can do the job on Friday.
Needless to say I told them to have a good life and go play with themselves.
This is not a business, this is a SCAM. STAY AWAY! -
Sean was amazing. On time, friendly, collaborative, and professional and he took the time to explain what he was doing. He did some panel work, some troubleshooting in our kitchen, and then installed new outlets in our garage and a receptacle outside the garage for a security camera. We're very satisfied with Thompson Electrical and will use them again for our electrical needs.

Called Circle B, They answered the phone right away minutes before close of business. Came out the next day, did exactly what I asked of them and we are back to work.

Terrible customer service. If its not something easy forget it. These guys wont lift a finger

Really wouldn't waste your time here. Only person in the store and 2 counter salesman were chatting about some account they were having problems with paying no mind to customer waiting.

Place was much better when it was called Mustang. Square D is a great product but there inventory is pathetic and know one there knows the product. Instead of telling you they will look it up and get it ordered, they look at you all baffled telling you they just don't have the part. Prices are also way to high compared to other suppliers in the area and prices are not consistent and always seem to change. Not sure how they stay in business, there's no way this location can be turning a profit. Miss my old Mustang electric that was run by smaller crew that cared more about its customers. You can sense a disconnect between the employees and customers ever since it changed to mayer.

This is the worst place to buy from. They never answer the phone. Their closing time is 5 pm but last time I went it was 4:21 and they were closed. Avoid this place. Had to purchase from them not by choice.

Worse place to buy it from they close at 5pm and they don’t have nothing

I just had a visit from 2 representatives from Mayer. They were doing cold calls. I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge, specifically on ways to provide a solution to maximize the efficiency and minimize my impact on the grid, while also being budget friendly. We have taken steps to improve the efficiency of our home in Arlington, TX., since we moved into it almost 4 years ago and are not currently in the market for a solution, but was I grateful for the visit.

Rexel took over Mayer a few years ago. As Rexel tends to do, they've been running a decent business into the ground. The sales reps I've worked with for years are gone, stock is increasing unavailable.
Today I arrived for a will call at 8:15am. Posted business hours are 7-4pm. The doors were locked, lights out.
Rexel's kiss of death persists. -
Great people and a great company that does quality work. Skilled commercial electricians partnered with the local electrical school.
