Golden Tree did an outstanding job from start to finish. They handled everything quickly and safely, and when the work was done, they left the yard spotless. The crew was professional, efficient, and easy to work with.

We have used Golden Tree Maintenance several times in the past and it is not the same company it previously was! I have no idea what happened, but just because you have used them in the past does not mean you will get the same quality of work. Our problem started with our quote. We got a quote for having a tree removed and stump grinding. It was about $1100. Two days later we received a coupon in the mail for free stump grinding with tree removal so we called and asked if they would honor the coupon. Chris was extremely rude and unprofessional. He said that coupon would need to be shown to him at the time of the quote. Clearly, that was not a valid coupon and was a "charge a higher price initially and give a fake discount" coupon.
We decided to go ahead and use them since we had had a good experience in the past. On two different occasions, they were scheduled to do the removal. I took off work to be at home so I could open the gate to give them access to the backyard and they called late in the afternoon to say they wouldn't make it that day and would have to reschedule.
The third date that they scheduled the came and removed our tree and trimmed our other. Our poor tree. It looks butchered. I attached pictures.
It took them several weeks to come back and do the stump grinding. The night before they called and at that time let us know that they would grind the stump for the quoted price of $250 but they would need to charge us that price and half more if we wanted insurance that they wouldn't hit the sprinkler. So the night before the quote went to $375. We declined the sprinkler insurance and sure enough they hit the sprinkler and we will have to have it repaired.
The entire entire experience start to finish was not good. I am curious if this company is under new management perhaps.

I just wanted to give a personal shout out to Cory Nelson and his crew, and Chris Coats! My neighbor had a lot of tree trimming and removal done, here in The Colony where we live. I pretty much observed the entire process from 8:15am this morning until they just finished and cleaned up! Excellent work and professional service!!!! I’m so impressed I will be making arrangements in the near future for 2 large tree removals and 1 tree trimming! Great job guys!!!! I strongly recommend them to everyone!!!

I have used Golden Tree at two of my properties in DFW and they have always done a great job. Their staff is extremely responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend them if you are needing tree work done. Best of all, their prices are reasonable and fair, unlike many of their competitors.

Showed up 10 mins before closing b/c traffic put me behind to just grab a few bags of fire wood but b/c of the “no loading 15 minutes prior to closing” BS policy I was not able to place an order. No cash, debit, or credit payment would be accepted b/c I missed “the load” time by 5 min. IT WAS A BAG OF WOOD….. I am a welling and capable man that can load the bags of wood that are 5ft from the exit but no Mendy wouldn’t accept any sort of payment. The guy behind me was there since 4:30 had over $1000 worth of stuff he wanted but nope Mendy wouldn’t take a payment since it was after 4:45. The owner of this place has probably lost entire years worth of house payments b/c they won’t accept a payment or God for bid let a man load his own order after 4:45. I’m sure there are some good employees but Mendy isn’t one of them and I would give 0 stars if I could. Highly recommend going somewhere else that you don’t have to deal with her at the front desk she clearly hates her job.

I wanted to write a review about my experience. I know this may be a long review, but you see, we have this massive tree, a tree we love because of the shade it provided and amount of birds that came to sit and sing in the top. However, as you can see, it is next to our swimming hole nestled tightly in this space in our messy little yard. The tree itself wasn’t very friendly as it would drop little sticky nuts that made a mess everywhere, drop its leaves in our pool and had roots that loved to grow and stretch its legs up through the pavers in our yard. It wasn't always this big and had not been trimmed like it should have been. We did still love it and were sad at the thought of letting it go. We called Golden Tree Maintenance, and Chris came quickly to offer advice and confirmed this messy tree needed to go. They gave us an estimate and gave us time to think about it, remember we loved this huge tree and had watched it grow for over ten years. The day came for them to come, and to my amazement, it was fun to watch how skillfully these guys swung from branch to branch using safety ropes and teamwork. They carefully removed it without damage to our swimming hole or the fence. I was delighted to see how speedy they worked and how friendly the crew was. They even left us with a small piece that they squared up so I can use as a little seat to remember our beloved tree. The guys cleaned up all the mess from cutting down the tree and were gone quickly. I could tell they had done this many times before, and if you need a tree trimmed or a tree loved or not to be gone, I would absolutely recommend you give Golden Tree a call and let them clean up your trees or take them down with ease. Our yard now feels bigger and it is much more bright. I am thrilled to have a company that I can trust and will forever now call on when my other tree need a trim.

I unconditionally recommend golden tree maintenance for your needs with five stars. A bit of background here, the tree in the photo, her name is April, and she's a big part of why I purchased the house more than 20 years ago. During that time, she has had her pruning done by a number of tree services including licensed arborists.She is a live oak and based on the folks you use some prune her like they want her to be a lollipop. Some prune her like they need to get to the next job and only golden tree pruned her correctly. Both she and I are happy and grateful with the service.
Regarding the service experience, a full five stars. The overall experience was exceptional, starting with me making a phone call as a new customer, the call getting answered. My needs understood a quote scheduled for 2 days out. Quote done and maintenance scheduled for a couple of days after that and service performed on time. Well that should be maintenance and vendor service 101. It isn't in my experience and they nailed it.
From a cost perspective, the value is exceptional and met my budget.
When the service was actually being performed, it was done by obviously caring and knowledgeable folks who did it quickly, cleanly and accurately.
Again, I highly recommend golden tree for your needs

WOW honestly this is the best experience I have ever had hiring ANYBODY to help with our home. Chris and his team were timely, professional, really listened to what I wanted and offered a fair price for their service. I am so impressed. I’m the kind of person who really shops around for the right person for each job. If you need tree work, RUN don’t walk to book this company.

Golden Tree Maintenance was excellent. We had a very large cedar elm that needed a lot of work. They responded quickly, were priced reasonably, showed up when they said they would, and took care of the work promptly and professionally. Our yard hasn't looked this good in ages, and hopefully we can get some grass to grow in our front lawn again. I would highly recommend them.

I’m absolutely in awe of Chris and his team! The massive tree in our yard was one storm away from falling on our house, and they handled everything quickly, cleanly, and at a fair price. We have been using Golden Tree Maintenance for over 10 years. Their work has always been excellent. Chris Coates knows exactly what our trees need. We always have them do the annual spring cleanup of our huge pampas grass plants around our pool. It’s very messy and the leaf blades are super sharp, especially after a freeze. They make it look easy when it really isn’t. Their work ethic and skills are truly outstanding. Cleanup is always impeccable. And to top it off, their pricing is fair and reasonable!

Great service

Sanchez started out mowing the grass on his lowest setting on his mower and the yard looked great. Then he wanted to raise it the next week, then raise it again the week after that. Now it's over 3" tall which is way above the recommended height for hybrid bermuda. The following is from the King Ranch Turfgrass website.
Tifway 419 is a deep green Bermuda grass with a fine texture. It has excellent weed and disease resistance and is a superior turf for fairways, tees, athletic fields and home lawns. When cut at ¾ to 1 ½ inches, 419 provides an excellent impact-absorbing cushion. Because of its very dense top growth, Tifway 419 tolerates more wear and better resists weed invasion. It is more resilient in winter months when the grass is dormant. Tifway 419 is the most widely used Hybrid Bermudagrass used is the South for Golf and Sports fields.
He is no longer cutting my grass. That turned out to be an eight week disaster.

Tomas did a complete overhaul on our backyard landscaping. He listened to what I wanted and came through with flying colors. He is very dependable and conscientious about his work. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

I'm not trying to hate in there work or how they do business with their customers. But I have had it with them past couple years with these flyers you do door to door. I get u want business but No Soliciting Sign Is Clear as day infact they put them on top of ring door bell by sign. Next time I'm going to contact the people I have to for business to get fined . Every time it's on camera.. please teach your employees the state , and county city codes

I had a terrible experience with Sanchez Landscape Company. I paid them for landscaping work, but they never completed the job. After receiving the money, they stopped responding to calls and messages and essentially vanished.

This company took my money and disappeared, leaving me with no service and a lot of frustration. Based on my experience, this is not a trustworthy or professional business. I strongly advise others to stay away. What they did was dishonest and feels like a scam.

Save yourself the stress—look elsewhere for reliable and ethical landscaping services.

In the spirit of fairness, I am rating this business 3 stars when I’d rather give it just 1. One of their solicitors had decided to leave 18 of the business's cards all over our doorstep. This was also done when we have a very clear “‘No Soliciting” sign next to our door. Please consider them when deciding your landscaping needs to whomever is reading this, but the hiring decision unfortunately led to souring our impression and has made sure we will not be looking into this business when considering our landscaping needs.
