I’m posting this review to hopefully save someone else of using Merry Maids Lubbock to clean their 1,500 sq ft EMPTY house for FOUR HOURS (nearly $400). I hired them to clean my house that I had already moved out of. Even vacuumed floors and cobwebs before they even got there to clean. Came home to find the window seals, tile, garage, and back porch still filthy. I called them back to let them know the house was filthy and how absurd it is that it took FOUR HOURS for TWO MAIDS to clean an empty 1,500 sq ft house. They said they would “get back to me,” but of course, never did.

Ida & Addy do an amazing job every time they come and are are great people. Would highly recommend their work.

The quality of this cleaning service has really deteriorated in the past 2 to 3 years. Today, for instance, my floors were left unmopped, and when I pointed this out, one lady with a Swiffer sped around the rooms at top speed, not moving anything (including the chairs at the kitchen table) and doing a general "swipe" at it. She was finished in 3 minutes. Crumbs on the chairs stayed on the chairs, and some spilled spice in the kitchen was never touched. Easy-to-move items like footstools and small rugs are cleaned around, never disturbed.

I do about an hour of prep each time the service comes, picking up all rugs and trying to clear surfaces so that I won't have dirty spots when they're done. Finally I've realized it would just be easier, since I'm doing all this work, to clean it too!

My charge for two people cleaning for 2.5 hours was $230 and change. I wouldn't mind that if it was a spectacular job. But it just wasn't.

Moved in with my boyfriend roughly a month and half ago. Merry maids has been cleaning his house for nearly 3 months. I'm not sure of the girls name, she didn't introduce herself. Once I let her in the house, I went to the store and roughly gone 45 mins. She was skinny, tall, rude look on her face and she was cleaning alone. After my trip I went straight home and expected her to still be cleaning. I even brought her something to drink. But she wasn't there. That night did I not only notice that she hadn't cleaned my shower or tub but missed the trash in all 3/bedrooms. I went to take my nightly medication and realize that two of them were missing over half the bottle. Yes, these medications are considered narcotics. So no, I do not recommend this cleaning service.

Paid for a make ready and carpet clean. Carpet clean was so-so. Supposed to clean fans and blinds. There were only 2 fans, they cleaned one. None of the blinds were cleaned. Bathrooms had to be re-cleaned (if they were cleaned in the first place). Cabinets still had dust and debris in them. Overall, not recommended.

Merry Maids did a fantastic job getting my house clean. Becca and Martha were extremely thorough.

Company is under new management and they are very professional. They take all inquires and client preferences seriously. They make the scheduling process easy and cleaners show up in a timely manner. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Experience was terrible! Missed my appointment. When they did show up,they stayed 15 minutes and left with no explanation. I called and was told house had a spot of dog urine in corner...I have 4 dogs. Also said house was bigger than expected. I told them it was 3200 Sq feet. They never wanted to give an estimate or come look at my house or anything.

The team is efficient and does a great job! From communication to execution- they have been flawless and great to work with!

Merry Maids came out and cleaned my mothers house and did a wonderful job. The two girls that came out to clean were very professional and courteous. The did an amazing job on the bathrooms removing all the soap from the showers as well as getting all the dust and pet hair in the rest of the house. The house smelled fresh and clean when they finished.

The staff was very thorough and professional. The team worked quickly and efficiently and the ownership was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. Scheduling was a breeze as well.

I paid $625 for a really bad job on cleaning a rent houses. The house was a wreck so I expected to pay a lot. She said they would need at least 5 hours. She said they needed 6, but I couldn’t pay another $125. They sent 2 maids over to the house without my supervision. The bathrooms were a lot better, but everything else was just barely touched.
I did call and complain and the lady came back and went over some things. It was definitely not a $625 job. I work hard for my money and I could of done it as well as them. I went with Merry Maids because I thought I would of got a professional cleaned house. I was disappointed. Definitely choose a different company if you need a quality job done.

Always on time and clean ing is done thoroughly and to my satisfaction. Look forward to the days the team is scheduled to come. Could not ask for a better cleaning service!
