WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I just had these guys come out to handle a very tough job (including 6 foot weeds all over my backyard), and they blew it out of the water. Even though they were busy, they made me feel like a priority. They were both friendly and professional. I couldn't believe how amazing my yard looked when they were through with it - And they handled it so fast. I mean, how efficient can you get? Whatever sort of lawn project you have, don't hesitate to call these guys. They can do whatever you need and do it in a way that will make you excited that you called them. I rate them as the top lawn care company in town, BY FAR...There isn't even any real competition, in my opinion. Anyway, I could go on and on, but I will leave it at that. Once again, WOW!!!

We have worked with Josh and the Roots team for years. They have done lawns, landscaping, and Christmas lights at multiple locations for our business and on our home. Their quality of work speaks for itself and their pricing is very competitive.

Edited to Add: Roots did call me back and explain that they had been having phone issues and apologized for the delay in response. They were also kind enough to send me a list of vendors who could possibly help me with my yard issue. They followed up to make sure I'd received the list of vendors and I let them know that I had received it.

I've left 2 messages and called 3 times to try to get an estimate to have some work done on my front yard. I started calling on Tuesday and as of Thursday no one has returned my call. They're outgoing voicemail message says that my call is very important to them but it seems that is not the case. I tried to go by the address listed on Google and it's the AT&T store on 82nd. This company was recommended to me by Ashton Walden but not sure they're worthy of being recommended by such a reputable company.

I have never been more pleased with a lawn and landscaping company! They are professional, timely, and do excellent work. They are much more than some guys that mow your lawn. They are very knowledgeable about regional landscaping "dos," "don'ts," and trends. Their prices are fair and they even do Christmas lights - perfect for this time of year. We have, and continue to, use them at all of our businesses and at my personal home.

Working with a Josh has been absolute joy! He is knowledgeable, experienced and a timely. We have used Roots Landscaping for over 5 years and we could not be any happier with the services he provides. We look forward to many more years of working with Josh and the Roots Team.

Josh and the team at Roots have been the perfect fit for our investments in our backyard with leveling and patio expansion. Clear pricing and great communication have helped our ongoing projects go incredibly smoothly, and we are very glad to use them. Our landscaping at our home was from the 90’s. The freeze two years ago did a number on our shrubs. We met with 3 different landscapers for estimates. I really felt that Roots would do the best job. The owner, Josh seemed to share the vision I had with the project and I really liked that this company is Lubbock locally owned, family owned!

I am so glad I read the flyer that was left on my door and called for a turf cleaning. Riley has been taking care of my turf for a couple of years. He is reliable and goes above and beyond. I would recommend him to anyone.

We have used this service for over 2 years. They maintain our turf and weeds on all our properties weekly. They trim trees our trees as needed and keep empty lots clean and silt fences well maintained. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rylee did a great job, most professional out of 3 people I had come out. Showed interest in the project and were meticulous on the results. Glad we chose them to get our house some much needed landscaping.

If I could give 10 stars I totally would. This guy is fantastic!! He is responsive to texts and calls - answering almost immediately. He shows up when he says he will, works all day and works to get the job done in the shortest amount of time. But with the highest quality. They clean up their work area at the end of the day and are a nice, respectful, responsible team. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to have your yard done or upgraded.
