Van at Moon Valley was so helpful! We had a builder grade tree that died within 6 months of moving into our house, Van came to the rescue! He helped us pick out a beautiful teddy bear magnolia that will fit perfectly in our front yard! He helped us get set up with the removal of our old tree and the planting of our new tree. The process was so easy and Van walked us through each step! So thankful for Moon Valley!

OMG!!! Sooo helpful, knowledgeable and KIND…no, for real K.I.N.D! Put the Christmas Spirit in the time of year and had me saying Happy Holidays and singing Christmas carols on the way home after getting the most beautiful tree that they TRIMMED FOR ME AND loaded and WERE WILLING TO TIE TO MY CAR!!!!
BUT…That’s not all… I am a plant LOOOOOVEER and they get it and they are smart and have plant lover stuff and know about trees and root stimulator with magic products and have services for trees! They will have a tree magician come to you and keep it alive after he plants it…😍😍😍 What?? But did I say KIND, because I thought customer service was dead, but no, I went home thinking I made new friends. But, new friends who love plants and trees. I know you can have a doctor and a mechanic, but I have a go-to Tree farm nursery now. This is for life. I wish I would have got pics, I was too busy standing there in awe of the customer service, clean facilities, products I left with and the fact they were helping me so much in the freezing cold! I will go back and follow up for part two!

We had a great experience. Our landscaper chopped my hydrangeas to the ground and they were very sympathetic about my loss 😜 We replaced them for a great price. Brian, Madina, and Jose were the best!

We worked with Brian Johnson to choose the perfect Japanese Maple tree. He was great to work with and very knowledgeable. We’re very pleased with our purchase!

I came into Moon Valley and they had a beautiful selection of trees. Antonio guided me through the nursery and helped me hand select my trees. He made the process super easy we hand selected the trees then he put us on their planting schedule. Moon valley offers the most amazing warranty I have ever seen. They cover everything you could possibly think of. The day of planting Bo and his crew come out and planted the tree exactly where I wanted it. His crew did an amazing job. They were super thorough and left my yard looking as clean is not cleaner then when they arrived. Moon Valley truly gave me a white glove service and did a fantastic job. I 100% believe they offer the best service in the nursery industry.

Jason at Moon Valley Nurseries was so great to work with! You can tell he really cares about his job and helping each customer! This nursery is so extensive! I highly recommend!

If you are thinking of buying trees and other landscaping beauties--call Van at Moon Valley in McKinney. His expertise, his patience, and his sense of humor made landscaping our home a joy. So much so, we've purchased many more trees from them! The planting crew (leader Bo) is amazing as well, and the aftercare information was so helpful! Our trees are still going strong a year later! 100% recommend!

What an absolutely fabulous experience! We are NOT gardeners and would not know a hoe from a edger, so we were looking for people that would really get us! We worked with Hawaii Bill, who listened to our needs (easy to maintain, easy to sustain, and still look great!) He evaluated the area, recommended a (much needed) tree trimming by MVN's tree pros, and planned out the site. The landscape team was wonderful. Any concerns (example: a yew was planted too close to the house) were QUICKLY rectified by the kindest people on the phone and those that returned to our home. We will continue to use MVN to make our front yard both beautiful and manageable. We look forward to working with Hawaii Bill again!!!

This was my second visit at Moon Valley Nurseries and again had an outstanding experience from start to finish. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the Christian, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and offered expert advice on the best plants for my garden, considering factors like sunlight and soil.

The customer service was top-notch. We had multiple interactions with Van and as always patient with our questions, provided helpful suggestions.

I had a wonderful experience at Moon Valley in McKinney! Van Garner was such a delight and helped me create a design for my plantation using Google images and some photos I brought in. I also met with Jason & Madera while I was there and they were all so friendly and helpful. So much so, that everyone was in on my design! I felt so special and they made the process so easy for me. I will return in the spring for the next phase of my backyard project! Thank you to the entire team!

Great relaxing atmosphere with lots of incredible plants and trees of all ages with trees from one to 35+ years old. Box grown specimens grown here in Texas as well.

Chase was awesome from start to end! We started at the Frisco Home Show and ordered three trees. They came in May and were doing awesome, till one took a turn in early July. We talked to Chase and resolved that it was a goner and he took care of us. We will be back this month for crepe myrtles and vitex!

My wife and I had Moon Valley Nurseries plant seven trees and several shrubs on our property recently. Madie came out and surveyed our needs; the next day she walked the nursery with us as we picked out our trees. She was super polite and helpful. On planting day, Josh and his crew were clean-cut, polite, very thorough and neat. They did a superb job. We are delighted with their results. Most highly recommended.

I have been dealing with moon nursery of Mckinney since November of 2024 , having to open 2 disputes with Wells Fargo which was the financing outfit they persuaded me to finance through. I purchased almost 12K worth of trees from them last year ! Each tree they called " super " trees cost me over $450 . They claimed they are grown in pots , and so when planted in the ground, they grow fast and the fruit trees will fruit the fist summer after planting. Well, more that 1/2 of the trees we ordered were unavailable, and not delivered. The trees they did plant ( 5 fruit trees) , all were less than an inch in diameter and less than 5 ft tall and all died less than 3 months. A manager ( MJ) came to my house, saw the pathetic dead trees and said he would exchange my trees with the next bigger size ( called HUGE trees) but he then left the company. I kept emailing and calling , but I was ignored. So I opened a dispute with Wells Fargo. Elias who took over the case, replaced the trees, that died and credited me for all other trees that they did not deliver. Since he owned the problem, I ordered two more trees a pistache and a red berry holly. The dispute closed in MARCH 2025, BUT I received a letter from Wells fargo that they should have not credited me for $2145.00 ! I called Elias, but he had left the company ! Once again, I was charged for trees not delivered ! and meanwhile, the replacement pomegranate tree died too and none of the trees except the fig fruited this summer , and the figs are about the size of a quarter. I had to open another dispute with proof as I am writing here. I called the nursery , and was transferred to a very RUDE man named Scott, who said " I don't need any information from you , I will do my own research" . Well that's what I was afraid of, and sure enough, 2 months later, no resolution. PAM from Wells Fargo has sent a request to their headquarters as well, they are ignoring her at Wells Fargo too. I talked to the supervisor of the dispute Dept. today and JOE informed me that they sent the request to clarify to them on 8/12 . Today is 8/27 and no news. The head quarters is in AZ , so good luck finding the registered agent to be able to "serve" in order to take them to small claims court in TX ! I now have to hire an attorney and sue them . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MOON VALLEY NURSERY IN MCKINNEY.See the pics. I placed a broom for you to see what they call HUGE tree and if you focus, you'll see the miniature figs!

We had an amazing experience working with Moon Valley Nursery for our backyard project! Highly recommend Brian Johnson and Bo Loftin to anyone looking to add greenery to their yard. They helped us choose high quality trees perfectly suited for our space and sunlight conditions. Their knowledge about soil, spacing, and tree care made the whole process so easy and stress free. We just had or plants installed by Bo Loftin and his crew from Moon Valley Nurseries in McKinney. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond expectations. They cleaned up and left the yard looking perfect. Brian Johnson was our designer and created exactly, well better, than what we expected. Their knowledge, professionalism and workmanship are top notched. We will definitely look at Moon Valley for future landscaping needs.

You could tell that the team of men who installed our trees were experienced professional. They didn't dilly dally around. They went straight to work and got the job done. Went to the McKinney location for their fall event today. Moon Valley had a huge selection and all of their trees looked great. Madie Murphy showed us around and explained their process which is basically white glove service. We got a great deal on a tree today and I can't wait to see it in the yard! So far, I highly recommend, ask for my Madie, I think she is one of the managers up there and she's got a great last name! LOL

Christian Hall was amazing in helping us select landscaping and trees to complete our pool project. He is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. So glad we stopped at Moon Valley Nurseries in McKinney!
