Will at Guy's came and did our A/C Heating system yearly check-up and did a wonderful job. It seems he spent more time checking our complete system than some had done in the past. He also showed us some pointers to keep our system running excellent. We will use again next year. Thanks

David, Jason, Rick and others with Guy’s AC crew came to our Pearland home on April 14, 2025. I’d been searching for a solution to improving our stale and musty air in our 23 year old home. Despite having the ducts and coils cleaned three times in the last two months, the musty smell persisted. In addition we froze trying to dehumidify our musty house by lowering the temperature, forcing more dehumidification. Guys came in with two variable speed air conditioners and gave our HVAC system a total overhaul. They removed the old duct work and replaced every relevant item. The owner Chad told me to expect to wait a few days to even a month before I saw positive results, but I noticed better quality air immediately. Now my house smells fresh and we are finally breathing fresh clean air.

Guy's has been superb all the years I have been using them. This go around JP came initially and was great about explaining all the problems. I needed a new unit. It was installed by Jason and Joel. They were great. They were very friendly. They always answered my questions and explained everything they were doing. They were very respectful of my property. When it was all finished I felt like I had made new friends and had a new system expertly installed. Guy's always comes thru in a great way 👍

Do not use this company. They may seem nice when they give you the quote but beware. They will cut corners on installation and ignore issues that need to be addressed, which could potentially cause major damage to your home. We had two units replaced in 2020 and shortly after had a major water leak which caused the ceiling to fall in my children’s bedrooms. This was from them taping two pipes together. That area was repaired only after I initiated the quote and repair. There was no urgency or professional customer service when I called with this issue. The next issue we encountered was exposed wiring at the unit, which caused a hole in the line and all of the Freon to leak out. When they came, they said oh we don’t deal with wiring however they immediately identified that it was an issue. I do not understand why we were not notified of this issue to have it addressed when installation occurred. Fast-forward to last Friday when water was pouring out of my kitchen cabinets. This was caused from again, lines, being taped together. Now there is mold in my daughter’s bathroom, as well as mold on the wood in my attic, and I’m still waiting to determine the amount of water damage caused from these pipes that were taped together allowing water to leak into our walls for no telling how long. Two employees came out to my home to look at it because the owner is on vacation. The response they gave me was we can’t deal with plumbing and there’s nothing they can do. My issue and what I would like to caution every consumer about is that they knew the way those lines were was an issue because one of the employees bragged about how long he has been doing this and told me thay all the houses in my area are that way and it’s a problem; however, we were never notified that we needed to have it addressed. When I asked why this was not brought to our attention upon installation their response was that the guys that do installation don’t know anything. They just know how to put ac boxes together. So my next question was why this was not brought to our attention when the quote was given to us by the owner. They had nothing to say. They left saying there’s nothing they can do. It’s not their problem and that that decision is coming from the owner. However, the owner never came to my home because he’s on vacation so not only are they doing nothing they wasted my time because I stayed home from work all morning, waiting for them when they already had the answer before they walked into my home. I am very disgusted with this company and would caution anyone from using them.

Echoing another user's complaint of the water drainage lines being improperly taped together. Had to pay another company to fix it. Last time I tried to call Guy's they told me they no longer operate in Beaumont and wouldn't be able to service my two systems they installed back in 2021.

Now both systems have failing compressors within the same month. All being fixed by another company which I should have gone with in the first place.

Don't trust this company, especially if you are outside New Caney.

We have done business with Guy’s for many years. They were conscious of the fact that our AC unit was old but we couldn’t replace it so they kept us running and cool for years! This year it finally became apparent that we had to replace (our unit was 37 years old). Chad came to the house and assessed the situation. He made a recommendation, gave us a quote, promised that the office would call to set an installation date. He didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need and kept his promises! Within 2 weeks we had a new unit and are cool again! The installation crew was excellent. Arrived on time, was very efficient, worked quietly and cleaned up the mess inside and out. We couldn’t be happier! Would HIGHLY recommend Guy’s AC. They are honest, professional and keep their word!

FOLLOW UP (8/26/25):
My mom's air conditioner went out. She is 94 and we had to get her some air. She has always used another provider but I decided to see if Chad and his crew would check it out and give us a recommentation. Dwayne came today and checked everything out. Unfortunately, the unit is old and the best course of action is to replace it. We expected that. Dwayne was very professional, communicated with me (any my mom), explained things where even I could understand. I am a big fan of Guy's AC. We have used them for many years and I am so glad he will now be taking care of my Mom! Thanks, Guy's AC, for having integrity, professionalism, thoroughness and just being all-around good people! Additionally, when I call the office, the staff is very accommodating and helpful!

Jason and Joel with Guys AC installed new Trane evaporator coil and condenser after upstairs unit stopped cooling. They were very professional. We were expecting a houseful of guests and owner Chad promised he would refill coolant as necessary to keep us cool until new installation complete. We have used Guys AC since 2011 and have been very satisfied.

Jason and his crew did a great job for us today, taking out our old unit and installing a brand new one. Worked very well together like a “well oiled machine”, very professional and efficient. The best experience I’ve ever had with an installation crew. They’re a winning team. 👍🏼

Guy’s A/C is the most professional people in the field. The crew David, Frank and Jose were extremely professional, trained and completed the installation of an entire AC/Heat system in remarkable time. I have found a home with this company that will be for many years to come. You can’t go wrong with choosing them to service your needs. I am so thankful they were referred to me.

My 20 year old AC went out. The serviceman, Rick, checked it out and let me know the options on repair vs replacement. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions clearly. I had done some research prior and the options he gave me pretty much matched what I had learned for myself. My husband and I decided to replace the old unit rather than repair more pieces of the old one, and Rick also answered my questions about replacement options. We went with the 4 ton mobile home downflow unit with a Lennox heat pump outdoor unit and a New Honeywell IQ prestige thermostat. The new unit has a bigger blower to fix some problems the old unit had with cooling the most distant rooms, and with the switch from the traditional AC to the heat pump we are hoping to see some lower energy bills the rare occasions when we need the heater.

We got financing through the Guy’s company which had a significantly lower interest rate than our other options. Rick came back to my house twice after the initial evaluation. Once to bring us a small portable AC on loan to help make it semi-tolerable in our house while we waited a couple of days for the new AC installation, and once to bring me the financing paperwork to fill out. Everyone in my house including my pets appreciated the temporary AC, though it was still pretty warm in here, as you would expect in late July.

The installers, Jason and his crew, arrived the morning of the promised day which was only 2 days from when Rick came out. It was an uncomfortable couple of days but I really expected more of a delay since we are in the busy season. They were polite and professional. They started at 10am and were done by about 2, though they did stay a little later to answer questions I had about maintenance and venting since we will be remodeling the laundry room where the air handler is located. All together it was much quicker than what Rick estimated (around 6 hours).

I will update this review later if anything changes, but as of now, I am very happy with this company’s service.

We just had a replacement system installed and are very happy with Guy’s AC.
Chad worked hard to get us the financing we needed and David and the rest of the crew did a great job with the install. I would recommend Guy’s AC for any of your projects!

Guys AC Service was truly a Christmas Miracle!!!
We purchased an AC system from another AC Company 5 years ago & it DIED! All that money lost on a crappy AC & another crappy AC Company!

Guys AC Service came and less than 24 hours later a whole new LENNOX AC & Heating System was installed for a lot, I repeat, A LOT LESS THAN ANY OTHER AC COMPANY!!! AND we have a 10 YEAR WARRANTY with this top rated AC & Heating System. Guys AC Service is the most professional, cost extremely reasonable and great warranty for 10 years!

We never expected a first rate Lennox AC & Heating System to be installed better, faster, the best on the market system and a price lower than anyone else either a 20 year warranty!!!!

This company was hired through Homedrpot 10 years ago to install a full HVAC system including air ducts. I recently moved back into the residence and had this company that was on maintenance agreement for 10 years possibly 11 to conduct its biannual inspection. Upon my occupancy, I called the company because I noticed a number of things that were not working with the system which should have been taken care of doing the maintenance of the system. One duct/vent was not working and the inside unit was leaking. During the first visit, the personnel didn’t even look under the house to determine where the leak was coming from so he had to come back out and he did not document that I said one of the vents was not blowing. By the way it was the middle of ithe summer. Although I requested them to repair whatever was necessary they did not return to repair and I called them for two months asking why they did not come back to repair what was indicated in their inspection. no return and no response from them. I find it troubling that a company that installs such equipment is not willing to maintain and repair the equipment and as to customer service, it is very poor. I informed the company that I would make this review and was told go right ahead. I would not recommend this company for anyone and more importantly Homedepot should remove them from their contracting HVAC equipment. This company also failed to insulate the house after installing a brand new HVAC unit. Would never recommend this company.

I had a great experience with Guy’s AC & Heating from start to finish. Chad was very knowledgeable and quoted me the best price. The team (David, Frank, and Jose) were very efficient and careful during installation. They installed a new HVAC system complete with a compressor, furnace, and coils, and now we can enjoy the summer in comfort thanks to Guy’s!!

Had our bedroom ac quit. Called Guys and they sent out tech, he said compressor locked up and we should put complete new system in since it was an R22 system. Was quick to give us a bid of over $11,000 and said they could start in 2 days. Got another bid from Woodlands area AC company and bid was $6400 for same system, had bids as low as $4800 but this cheap one not licensed or insured. Had new system installed for $6400 and happy with work and I kept the old unit because I always want to know why any machine quits. As soon as I took the cover off of the compressor I could see a corrided wire that could have been easily fixed for $5 in parts. I trusted Guys AC to tell me what was wrong and wasted lots of $$. He should have at least done an elctric load test to see if the compressor was locked up.. Got screwed over and wont be calling this company back.

We wanted to thank Guy’s AC & Heating, and especially David and his crew for the excellent work today in getting our new unit installed. The team was punctual, courteous, and professional. They finished ahead of schedule and it was a pleasure working with them.

Logan and Dwayne did an amazing job they were beyond professional! They both were very nice with all and any questions I had. My house has never felt so cool before and the work done is beyond professional. They cleaned everything up and double checked everything. I also really liked that we were able to finance through the company and Mr. Chad was very informative about the whole process. Guy’s will now always have our business!

We have used Guy's for many years and highly recommend their services. We had a recent issue, and Donny came out and assisted on the same day and resolved the issue (which was very helpful since it was during the hot summer heat). They also installed a new A/C system a few years back in which we have had no issues.

We just had a complete 4 ton system installed by Guys A/C . What a great experience!. They have been servicing our old systems for several years and I cant say enough about how great they have done over those years. We finally had to have the downstairs replaced and moved to the new refrigerant system. Excellent presentation of the various products and explanation of the process.
I highly recommend them for service and new install. I Guarantee you, if you are lucky enough to get the install team of Jason and Joel you will be very happy.

We had returned from a shot getaway and our home a/c had stopped working. We called an A/C company that had done work for us before and their answer to the problem was a new unit. Call Guy's A/C to get a second opinion, they were able to offer a more affordable option to the issue. We set a date for the work to be done, when the crew arrived on time with everything need to complete the job. The technicians were Jason and Joelle both were very professional and respectful. They worked diligently on completing the job, once they finished the repair they cleaned up and removed all the equipment. We are very pleased with workmanship and result of work done on our home. I would recommend them for you HVAC needs.

These guys leave you high and dry especially after I have to hear Chad, the owner say if I buy an AC unit from him he'll "make sure I'm right."

Biggest joke company stay away!!! Read the 1 star reviews these guys are chumps and whenever they encounter unconventional problems they'll leave you with thousands out of pocket and back on the search for competent HVAC.
