This company is a scam. They advertise a chimney sweep and inspection for 99$. The tech came and literally just looked at our two fireplaces .. and said we need to buy new units for both. I asked why? He said the upstairs one someone did something to and the downstairs one “looks lame”.. he was going to leave and I said, well are you going to start it to show me how. (We just bought this house first time having fireplaces).
He then struggled to start it and didn’t really teach me anything. All he kept doing was promoting a new unit to buy from them. No cleaning was done. I don’t believe an “inspection” was done either. He literally just briefly looked at them total of less than ten minutes for two fireplaces. This is all on our home cameras. Time stamped and all. I pay the guy for both about 190$, because I’m home alone with the kids and I’m not comfortable to start an argument about the “service” provided. My husband then calls to try to get our money back or have someone actually clean and inspect the units. They said they’d talk with a manager and call back .. and you guessed it. They never called him back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
