Reviews of local pros in Northlake, Texas

We have used A Cut Above Landscaping for many services since being in this area. We have been so pleased that we are hiring them to do all this and more- sod, fencing, Landscaping, Christmas lights, uplights- for our new home we are building. We're excited to see the results soon!

I hired them to hang Christmas lights this year and they did a great job and were very personable. They took great care to make sure every light was in place properly and communicated everything very well.

A cut above did an absolutely phenomenal job on my yard. It looks so unbelievably good. I am truly impressed. Would recommend them 100 times over. Will definitely be using them for future projects!

Absolutely GREAT response and service on sprinkler system issues, with diagnostics and replacement of master control valve plus a followup pressure adjustment. Gary is certainly knowledgeable, professional, congenial and RELIABLE! Thanks. CDCJR - Northlake Tx.

Excellent service from A Cut Above Landscaping! They installed our Rachio automatic sprinkler device and serviced our entire sprinkler system to make it work like new again!. We will call them for all landscaping needs from now on.

Prompt and excellent work completed at my house. Gary took the time to patiently answer all of my questions and explained the issue and the process to fix it, ensuring I understood every aspect of the work being done with detail. He demonstrated commitment to quality and efficiency. I highly recommend him and his company.
Thank you - MUCHAS GRACIAS!

We have been using A Cut Above Landscaping to take care of our sprinkler system for several years now. They winterize our system every winter without fail. We have also asked them to check and replace broken sprinkler heads. We are very satisfied with their services and highly recommend this company.

Gary and his crew have taken care of our yard several times over the years. They do a fantastic job, apprise us of any issues, and make suggestions accordingly. Their Christmas light installation/removal is top notch as well. Highly recommend!

A Cut Above Landscaping always goes above and beyond in everything they do. In addition to great service with yard care and design they do an excellent job with holiday lighting. They are always on time, do a great job at fair price and they are there if you need anything. Gary and his team have been a pillar of our community for years and help people out when others disappear. I will always use them for my outdoor needs

We were initially quoted $800, which increased to $1,500. We then received a bill for $2,600. The worse part is the project was not successfully completed. The communication is poor and no follow through, I would recommend never using Gary’s company.

A Cut Above Landscaping was hired to grade, install sprinkler system and sod our backyard. Gary and his team were professional, very knowledgeable and ensured the work was completed in a timely manner. We are very satisfied with the quality of work and the clean-up upon completion of the work. I would highly recommend A Cut Above Landscaping for all your landscaping needs.

I live next door to a neighbor who uses them. They have destroyed my new sod by driving their riding lawn mower over it. I asked them this morning not to do it again. What does he do, owner told him to do it.
I do appreciate the reply that he will not cross the yard again. I did call and left a message, but it was not returned. Should have been more patient.

Gary and his team did a super sod install and irrigation repair today! Freshly cut sod, experienced team with excellent skills mean a successful landscape! Well worth the wait to have it done correctly! I am loving the look! Thank you Gary!

A Cut Above did a fantastic job building a retaining wall around our flowerbed. They recommended and installed drainage pipes to prevent our flowerbed from holding water and flooding back into our home. This company takes pride in their work and are responsive whenever contacted. Highly recommended them for any landscaping projects you have.

The BEST Christmas light installers I’ve ever found. Timely, communicative, professional and do an amazing job. Our house has never looked so good! Highly recommend to anyone searching for a professional and reasonably priced landscaping company.

Josh and his team did an amazing job on our front yard! They were incredibly efficient, professional, and paid attention to detail. The transformation looks beautiful, and you can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for quality landscaping done right!

Josh’s team was absolutely incredible. Our front yard looks fantastic. Josh was professional and quickly responded to my questions. Thank you so much Josh!

Excellent work. I’ve used Josh twice and he always exceeds my expectations. Thanks!

We struggled for years to find a reliable landscaping company. One even mortared our flower beds, which was a terrible experience. After that, we had nearly given up on finding someone who would both do quality work and show up as promised.

Josh and his team changed that for us. They did an excellent job. Out flower beds look fantastic. He also helped remove unwanted rocks and installed grass that’s suited for shaded areas. Our yard looks great, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Great experience working with Josh. Easy to coordinate with, price was fair, and project turned out great!

Josh did a masterful job landscaping the front of our beautiful new home and greatly added to the overall outward appeal of our home. We love the outside of our new home and Josh's expert touch with landscaping has allowed us to appreciate it even more! The pictures don't lie and I would highly recommend that you contact Josh at Works of Art Landscape. Rest assured, he will come up with the perfect landscaping for your home.
