We had the unfortunate luck of one of our massive cedar elm trees die from rot due to improper tree maintenance by the previous owner. Not only that, but the massive tree was splitting right down the middle and half of the tree had a risk of falling on our house. We searched around reviews on several sites and called 5 tree service companies over a couple days. One never returned my call. Another wanted a crazy price just to provide an estimate. The other three came out quickly and provided professional guidance, each spending time with me to discuss our options and what they plan to do for us. Areli, the owner of Better Price Tree Service, was very professional and friendly, extremely helpful in talking through our options and what they would recommend we do, and was also able to commit to bringing a team out first thing the next morning to take care of our emergency. He took a bunch of pictures (prep for the city permit) and provided us a very fair price - several hundred dollars less than the other two (who were not overpriced at all) and they also would be able to grind the tree stump down and remove all debris. And sure enough, the next morning, his team arrived on time and ready to start work as soon as possible. Areli came out to oversee some of the work and chatted with me about his long history in the tree service industry and about his equipment and staff. And then an hour and a half later and our front yard looked as if the tree had never been there. Amazing work, super fast, very professional and courteous. I will definitely call Areli and Better Price Tree Service the next time we have a need and I highly recommend them to others.

Great communication, very nice and professional, great price for the work completed. Arrived on time on the date agreed, efficiently removed a large tree, removed debris and cleaned up. Chipped on-site and cleaned up around the truck before leaving. Easy to pay via Venmo (one option). Will recommend and would use again if the need arises.

Myself and a couple neighbors used Better Price Tree Service to remove our dead palm trees from the February storm. We couldn't be happier with their service -- competitive quote, quick availability, professional, and quality work. They didn't hard a plant or flower surrounding during the removal and they cleaned up everything thoroughly. Highly recommend!

Isaac quoted me a fair price. Barna and the other crew member did excellent work removing a large section of a willow tree tat was damaging an adjacent tree. The crew also safely and efficiently trimmed branches near my roof line which is about 30’ off the ground. Excellent and trustworthy service!

This company is outstanding! We had much higher quotes with much longer wait times. The crew came within 24 hours of providing an estimate, because they were able to fit in the job - amazing! The crew was so professional and courteous, and not only did they move planters so they wouldn’t get broken, they cleaned up and put everything back. I will definitely use them and refer them to others!

Areli and his team were excellent. He came out to my property to assess the damage from a storm that hit hours earlier and scheduled the service I needed for the next morning. His team removed the tree and other debris within 50 mins; I was impressed at the speed and professionalism of his staff.

Better Price Tree Service did an outstanding job for me. I had been calling around getting bids for an oak tree trimming for a week, I'd have businesses give me a quote and when I expressed concern about high price they then tried to bargain to drop price. Better Price gave me their best deal the first time and was a "Better Price". They are prompt in responding to calls and coming out for service. The results were great. The crew was very nice and educated me on certain things around my yard and trees. They did a great job in cleaning before they left. I will be doing business again.

They did a fantastic job trimming the dead wood out of my live oak trees and cleaned up the yard better than it was when they arrived. All this at the best price that I was quoted!

Better Price tree service has been one of the best service companies I’ve used in Austin. They met me on a Thursday for free consultation and job was the big job done by Friday afternoon. They were on time and worked fast, while allowing for my approval. Will use them again and they were very fairly priced compared to competitors. Areli, Martin, and the other worker were great!

Just had Better Price out to remove 2 small to mid sized trees and grind their stumps. Also had a large live oak in the front trimmed. They did a fantastic job. Everyone was very nice and professional, and the crew went above and beyond cleaning up after the cutting. Even the areas where the stumps were are nice and level now. Will definitely be using Better Price when I need more done in the future.

They were professional, cleaned up well, did the requested services to completion, price was good value, and I was lucky they were able to fit me in same day. The owner of Better Price Tree Service company goes out and inspects after job completion and was very kind. He is a local to the area and glad I could give him business. Better Price Tree Service is hands down the best, most professional crew I have had the pleasure of working with. We had a tree fall on a neighboring property, where the homeowner was elderly. They came out and took the time to not only meet with me, but they took the time to hear out the homeowners.
The crews did such an amazing job, we had them clear out a bunch of Bamboo overgrowth, which other companies wouldn't even touch. Better Price Tree Service went above and beyond our expectations, and the price was outstanding. I will only use Better Price Tree Service moving forward.

They were the most polite and respectful company I’ve probably ever talked to. They gave me a pretty good price on a tree and stump removal in the morning and came out the same day to do the job. They finished fairly quickly and did a fantastic job. Make sure you have cash or check. I’ll definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

The other tree cutting service that I used a few years ago did not do a very good job, but Better Price Tree Service was great!

They cost 25% less than the previous service that I used, AND they trimmed more trees!

I recently needed some tree trimming done in my yard and was looking for a reliable company with reasonable rates. After getting a quote from one place, I decided to shop around and see if I could find a better deal. I'm sooooooo glad I did! I came across Better Price, and they impressed me right away. Isaac (Son of owners) was super friendly, professional, and took the time to understand exactly what I needed done. Not only that, but their quote came in significantly lower than the first company I contacted. A "BETTER PRICE" i must say.

Two very large Hackberry stumps needed to be removed in our backyard to make way for a retaining wall. Two men from Areli's BPTS showed up - ready with their machine - but the area was expectedly, too tight to get the grinder back there. So, they removed both....BY HAND. Just amazing work - super hard to be sure - but were efficient and tidied up/hauled off the old stump bits after. I would recommend them in a second! Excellent communications on scheduling, and fast turnaround on all counts. Affordable and worth every penny. Hire them!

To note: Two other companies also visited/estimated for the work and turned it down due to the machine not being able to get back there. But, BPTS got the job done. They'd be my number one call back if ever needed.

These guys are amazing! A very large branch fell on our neighbor’s fence and we needed it gone fast! They came out to do a quote the same day I called. Then they were out here the very next morning. Prices were fantastic, and they did a great job and left no mess. We’re convinced they moonlight as superheroes. They were far too fast, climbed our tree with impressive skill, and carried out pieces of a huge branch that seemed absolutely impossible for one man to carry… no way these guys are mere mortals. Add kindness, easy-going attitudes, and professionalism, couldn’t be happier.

I am so pleased with this company! They followed up more than once. The owners arrived when they said they would for an estimate and were knowledgeable about the trees and what was needed. I was given options and the prices were very fair compared to other companies. The workers arrived as promised and on time. They were very efficient and polite. Work was done to my satisfaction. Had a crew out yesterday to remove some large limbs and raise our canopy. They did a great job. Professional, friendly, efficient and left my yard and driveway clean. I’ve used Better Price for years and will continue to do so!
