The owner response is inaccurate at best. After several construction estimates of progress made at the time they stopped work, it's far less than the 26k they received. The line by line estimate in the original quote was by FAR less than the estimate of what they claim to have completed. I did have a private inspector provide a full report of subpar work to this company which is when they stopped working.
Legal recourse is in process.
Beware!!! Scammed us for 20k of a 66k project. They start out sounding trustworthy. I did my research. Walked one of their current projects, checked their BBB, even got a copy of their liability insurance. Still, they cut corners at every turn. Delayed over 4 mos before any physical work even began. Same owner has several companies doing the same thing. I wish someone had spoken up. He stopped work after the foundation forms failed city inspection. Ridiculous! We plan on taking him to court for deceptive trade practices.
