Having done a few projects, one of the issues we always had was an excellent and friendly sales pitch by the project manager/owner but a shoddy Job by the subcontractors hired.

This was the first time we noticed that the pitch was as good as the work done by the sub contractors hired. Ben (owner of Novastar Constructions) right from the start was very easy to deal with, transparent and clear about what can or cannot be done. The work started exactly when it was promised and was complete on budget. Ben and his sub contractors were very considerate of our young family and did all they could (include work through the weekend) to get the job done sooner.

I would highly recommend Ben and Novastar Constructions. Thank you Ben for your time and effort with the projects. Hopefully we can get to Phase 2 soon.

Finally, a construction company I enjoyed working with and was able to trust. After being screwed by not one, but two contractors. Ben came in to the picture and saved me, he was amazing and did everything he needed to do and more! I will give them my next project with my eyes closed!!

We’re doing some remodeling to our house, so I’ve meet with a lot of contractors. Adam was helpful, knowledgeable and his prices were really great. Most enjoyable is the brickwork they did around our fireplace, which is all the way up past 20 feet to our ceiling. I will definitely use him for our next project!!

Ben is awesome! His team built a shed for us from scratch! He tailored the shed to our specific needs, worked with the city to get permits, and was always available to talk and edit as needed. They kept me informed every step of the way and was very easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend!

I just hired Adam and his crew to remodel a bathroom for me. I wanted to give a review as I am thoroughly impressed and they have just started demolishing. Adam has been with his crew THE WHOLE TIME. Ben and his crew helped us replace a door that had a warped frame from water damage. The job became bigger than we expected when we could find a new door to match another on the same side of the house. We ended up swapping a door from the patio with a new door, and moving the patio door to the side. The team was professional and did a great job matching up the paint. They also fixed some drywall damage we had in other areas, and you can't even tell there was a hole! We are very pleased with the work Novastar did for us. Ben was very professional and accommodating. We would definitely use them again.

I had all flooring replaced, new electrical system, lighting, chimney work, patch work and paint in closets, kitchen sink area reconstruction. Also, I had a long list of things to get fixed from an inspection report. Very happy with all the work completed!

Novastar was a great choice to turn my mother’s master suite into a studio apartment. Ben listened to all my concerns and even covered some additional costs. The room came together beautifully, and my mother couldn’t be happier!! He gutted the walk in Closet & included the recess lighting; I had a closet professional install new organization.

The team painted all of our cabinets inside and out, installed new pulls, and even added another access door for better functionality.
