I rarely leave negative reviews, but after just four years in my CB JENI home, I feel it’s important to share my experience for anyone considering purchasing from this builder.

From the day I moved in, it’s been one issue after another. I’ve dealt with flooring problems, mold caused by plumbing issues, and a growing list of defects that simply should not happen in a home this new. Instead of enjoying my home, I’ve spent the last four years dealing with repairs and concerns that appear to stem from poor workmanship and corners being cut during construction.

What has been most disappointing is not just the number of issues, but the lack of accountability. Too often, my concerns were minimized, pushed aside, or met with temporary “quick fixes” instead of permanent solutions. By the time the underlying problems resurfaced, they were no longer covered under the warranty, leaving me to deal with the consequences. As a homeowner making a large investment, I expected a builder that would stand behind both the quality of its homes and its customers.

Every home can have occasional issues, but the frequency of problems I’ve experienced over the past four years has been unacceptable. While everyone’s experience may be different, mine has left me with little confidence in CB JENI Homes. Based on my experience, I would never purchase another CB JENI home, and I would not recommend them to anyone considering buying one. I sincerely hope the company improves both the quality of its construction and its commitment to supporting homeowners long after the sale.

I somehow got a small hole in my carpet, David came out and reviewed and was so kind. He also went up to my attic and looked at my HVAC and filter and settings and corrected some things that will help with my electric bill. He went above and beyond but I expect nothing less as everyone at CB Jeni Homes has done for me since day 1 when looking for my new forever home!!

As we approach the end of our 1-year warranty, we start submitting several service requests. Sean V. from the warranty team has been wonderful to work with. He responds to our request and stop by to evaluate the issue in a timely manner. We appreciate his professionalism, responsiveness, and excellent customer service.
