We hired Junk of America for a big apartment cleanout in Plano and honestly they were awesome. I called around and got quotes from five different junk removal companies, and they were by far the cheapest for junk removal in Plano.

The guys showed up on time, worked hard, and got everything out way faster than I expected. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and you can tell they know what they’re doing.

After they finished loading everything, we had a few extra items we forgot about, and they took them too without charging us extra. That really impressed me.

Called and left a voicemail seeking some work to be performed. Did not receive a call back for over a week. Finally got the service scheduled only to have my appointment cancelled with no possibility to re-schedule due to an “emergency” just days before the scheduled service. All while they knew I was preparing to list my home for sale and timing was extremely important to me. Look elsewhere.

Terrible customer service, my wife and I requested a quote on some fiber optic work to be done in our movie room. Quoted us $3400 but was unable to show us any visuals of what we were potentially paying for, told me that he has never taken any pictures of his work so he wouldn’t be able to show us what it would look like, who offers a service but is unable to give you an example of the service? After I explained to him we didn’t feel comfortable going into the project blind and requested maybe he get some pictures from a previous job he has done, he became upset and told me to find somebody else. Explained to him that we still wanted the service just wanted to see what it would look like since it’s going in our home, once again he was extremely rude and told me to find somebody else to do the job. Wouldn’t recommend at all!!!!

I called Ted to have him come install a garbage disposal for us. He was very friendly, on time for his appointment, and finished the entire job in under 30 minutes. I will definitely be keeping his card to refer him to any friends or family that need any handy-man work done around the house. Thanks again, Ted!

Ted was amazing! It's my first summer here in Texas with a house and not only did Ted come and install an irrigation hose system for me quickly and at a great cost, he also took the time to explain the system, the soil, how the foundation is effected etc to me in a way I understood. He also went the extra step to fix my door which wouldn't open/close properly even though it didn't have to do with the foundation, it was just swelling from the humidity. I would and WILL recommend Ted and Plano Texas Handyman to all my friends and colleagues and will certainly be calling Ted in the future will my handyman needs.
