Home Services reviews in Plano, Texas

Came here to drop off a broken cabinet and they stopped us and said we’d have to pay “since it’s a remodel drop off”, BUT you have to go back out into the 40 car line, then get weighed drop off the stuff AND GET BACK IN THE LINE to get weighed again. If that is your system at least get another weigh station.

Has to be the cleanest dump in the history of ever. Best bet is to catch Bennie or go very prepared to defend what is in your junk, your water bill, how long your boards are and more against the newest czar of trash. Plano Pure is a great outfit. Love buying stuff from them.

They're always great but recently changed over to charging homeowners $52/ton for any "construction debris". We had about 100lbs of carpet that we tore out and was charged $52

Line is far to long. The issue is they don't have enough people at the gate to check people in. Simple solution for this problem. Add another person at busy times.
They have plenty of dumping spaces so that isn't the issue.
This also causes a traffic issue on Ridgeview drive. Needs to be fixed. Let's get on top of this and keep up with the city growth. -
Even though the website identifies what liquid contaminants are able to be dropped off here, they refused everything we had. We tried to dump recycled motor oil, between 10-15 gallons, along with a few other items such as pesticide that we were wanting to recycle. Sent us on our way. They make it difficult for those wanting to do the right thing and protect the environment. I am stumped.

Change of policy! Even with valid water bill, they charged $25 to bring lumber (2*4s and plywood from a dog house) bc 'contractors' were abusing residential usage and now these materials are weighed for everyone. I was under 1k LBS so $25

Best time to go is week days but early on a Saturday morning isn’t too bad either. Everyone that works there has always been friendly to me.

Terrible policy’s and customer service. Beware they will charge you $70 extra minimum if you bring your trash in a dump trailer even if unloaded by hand.
-
Convenance for Allen residents. Would be nice if trash and yard brush opened at the same time. House hold trash opens at 7 but you have to wait another hour if you are depositing yard material.

With all the cars and trucks, you need 3 different lanes out there. One for the pits, one for the trees and plants and one for getting dirt and mulch. It would sure speed things up. Other wise I think you all do a good job out there.

Can't get to the dump because all of the trash trucks dumping there. Whats going on? Plus no such thing as answering the phone there, so they might as well get rid of it!!!!

Facility entrance is on ridge view, not on customer as stated by address.
On entry I gave my ID and bill to a white guy. I handed him wrong bill (that was in my car) that he returned. While I was taking my bills scan copy from Dropbox, this guy turned loud and started saying “pay or leave” “pay or leave” “pay or leave”. He was not willing to listen to anything and just continued to get louder and louder.
I asked for supervisor and walked in. Gerald was supervisor who made me feel he is giving me a favor by letting me dump but continued to defend his guys behavior. This stupid guy did not even let me complete a sentence just kept on cutting and interrupting.
I reported both folks to north Texas municipal manager/supervisor Keith and hope he’ll provide these fellows necessary training to respect their job and understand our bills pay their salaries. We are customer and customer should be treated like one. That they have job because we create trash.
Left disappointed but I’ll be back to put some more trash on both. Sorry dump trash at facility 🙂 -
Take your utility bill to prove home address.

Very fast and efficient way to dump off some things you didn't want to have anymore! They took my old mattresses! I know they changed the rules in last couple years about household waste some of it has to go out to Melissa!

The website says that the dump is available to Frisco residents with a water bill, it doesn't say that apartment residents can't use this place. Our apartment complex pays for Frisco water, well the worker gave me a 5 minute lecture about how my bill says "Bell Apartments" and not "Frisco" even though the address clearly says Frisco and the amount of water usage is on there. Finally he said "I'll let you go just this once but you better not come back here or you'll pay" I was trying to throw away several large items that wouldn't fit in the apartment dumpster, needless to say next time I am going to ask the complex or the City of Frisco for a letter to get access before going up there.

I like the ease of getting in & out service, but sometimes I think the vehicles & service trucks get too close for me! I get nervous at the activity level on the weekends. I sometimes feel rushed by other customers who seem to be in a hurry to just "dump" their things near my vehicle & "rush" off. I am also intimidated by the tractors scooping the trash as I dump, causing any mishap. Other than that, I am satisfied with the service that is so close and yet so far from my home as not to smell the back lash of trash!

Opens after I go to work; closes before I get off. Not sure what my water bill has to do with it since they don’t look at anything and just punch a hole in it. For some reason, a driver’s license doesn’t work. I don’t understand the connection. BE CAREFUL…if one grabs the wrong water bill from your folder at home, you get to drive all the way across town through Plano’s un-timed stoplights again with your junk to get last month’s water bill. It’s the only one that’s looked at, but not cross-checked against anything else. Baffling.

Place is in a good location, easily accessible compared to the Melissa location. Make sure you come prepared with your water bill and license otherwise the supreme ruler of this dump (The short man standing by the metal shack) will power trip and make it an unpleasant experience. Other than that, this place is a well oiled machine with a bunch of helpful employees.

I came in with a box trailer, which has a 45$ fee on it, but they waived the fee because I had no clue what I was doing. The staff was amazing and actually tried to make conversation with you which made the experience more enjoyable. This place is as enjoyable as a dump can be.

As a resident of Plano I had no clue I had this option to come toss garbage. Emily at the front was amazing at helping my dad and I in the process. Will definitely recommend to all the residents of Plano.

Love, love, love going to this place!!!! nothing but EXCELLENT
service every time I go. They always greet you with a smile and have helped
me on occasion when items are to heavy to sling over the side, Very cleansing
experience, I must say!!!!!
I like that I can take tree trimmings and not have to tie them up in perfect
little bundles
Wondering if they deliver mulch by the truck load to residential areas in Frisco,
Just learned that I have to have mulch 3 inches deep to keep weeds down,
Bulk pricing??
Individual bag price??
