Great place to bring the whole family. Best selection of plants, trees, garden supplies, accessories, decor, and implements.

Has what we need whenever we stop in, always nice to look around and browse. Employees are helpful and always in good spirits. Always end up forced to buy another air plant or small potted plant by my fiance, but that comes with the territory.

I am not sure who have this place good reviews! What I have seen every time I go there that their bunch of employees working there that are very very rude!!! My house is 5 minutes away from them! I bought the house in 1987! Then there were no Calloway store but I believe somewhere in 80’s they located this store in Custer rd. It’s almost 30 years that I have been buying flowers from these guys yet I have no points! I keep asking them about my points & they say you are almost there!!!!? Does not make any sense! They are very expensive & rude . I find the Calloway at Plano Preston with better employees! I believe Calloway at Custer Plano never had a good management!!! That’s the reason they are rude! Please do not shop at Custer location Preston location have much more & better quality flowers & their employees & management are more cooperative!

So helpful! Selling our house. Goes on the market Monday. Needed some color for the front flower bed. Full sun. They helped us find just the right plants.

Back at Calloways for some Garrett Food and a couple purslane. All their bedding plants look so healthy with abundant blooms. Beth and Cesar were great!

Great selection of plants and wonderful help from knowledgeable staff! We just had help picking out a ground cover plant for our particular yard's quirks.

Josh was so helpful it seriously made my day. I had a lot of plants not survive the Texas summer. I brought them in and Josh helped me with a full refund, walked with me around the nursery, and talked through all of my options to replace my plants. Landscaping is already a process that takes a lot of work so to have a local nursery that helps make the process easier is such a nice feeling. Allí at checkout was also super pleasant. Thank you Calloways, Josh, and Allí.

Store is nice but the plants don't actually last... Each time I have gone, only like half make it longer than a week. The ones that do make it, do really well. Plants from big box stores unfortunately seem to last longer :/

I love this calloways location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They get new shipments in regularly and usually every weekend I go in the have different specials on plants especially seasonal plants. I've never had a bad experience here.

I’ve only been here a few times but have to mention the experience I had today. I was greeted by Margie with a warm welcome. She was knowledgeable In what I was looking for. I was very indecisive but she took the time to ensure customer satisfaction. Also, an overall better location In my opinion

I’ve driven to every Calloway’s in the DFW area this week looking for a specific tree. What I noticed with this store is it’s the most organized. Even the pottery was color coordinated. Nice job to whoever is running this location.

I have purchased St. Augustine plugs for my yard from here for 2 straight years and am highly satisfied with the quality and quantity they offer. The items I purchased were fresh and did exactly what they said they would do, when I followed the directions provided to me by their knowledge staff! Thank you kindly for helping a novice, like me. 👍

Calloway's inventory and selection never disappoints. Beautiful fresh colorful. The customer service this morning, however, just kinda make me feel bad. 10:00 a.m., not that busy on this rainy morning, three registers, one employee at each. Being that no one was at the middle register I approached and politely asked if she was open. "Read the sign" was her snotty response, no eye contact, not even looking up. Wow. And I could kick myself for ME apologizing that I didn't see the sign (this is looking out of the store toward the morning glare). I dunno...maybe she was just having a bad day. Or maybe she couldn't be bothered with a senior citizen though an older gentleman who walked up to her register not 2 minutes after me, asking the same exact question, at least got a friendly response (couldn't get her register to get online). Oh well. The young man at the register next here was very helpful and rang up my full cart of ground cover. Not going to judge the whole store on this one person but gee...sometimes you may be the only person that customer comes in contact with the whole day...IJS.

Calloway's carries a good selection plants. Their employees know their stock and can advise on the plants best for you. They are not the cheapest nursery, but they provide great value with advice, plant selection, and equipment. Their classes are free on caring for your lawn, pruning, starting seeds, and raising healthy plants.

I think everyone must have made a nursery run earlier in the day. There wasn't much of a selection. I seem to never find the particular plant I am looking for. It would also be so helpful if there were "shade plants" separated from "full sun" or "part sun". I am not an expert and it seems this place is not inclusive to us beginner gardeners. I do love their potting soil. Also their garden bed soil. I know they have beautiful stuff but it is more often than not very frustrating to shop here for me.

I want to thank Alison for her expertise, patience, and friendly willingness to help me transplant a few plants that were a part of one basket.

Alison educated me while she picked out the pots, dirt, and replanted the different plants and flowers. She even gave me her manager’s card in case I had any questions.

I will remain a customer of Calloway’s Garden Center on Custer Road in Plano.

The pot was 69$ the saucer that goes under it was 59$..The saucer was a little pricey in my opinion. I called first. The lady on the phone took a lot of time with me, I had some questions about other plants I have. Overall great place, helpful and kind staff..I just hope the company owner is using that extra money for good things

Ali at the Custer Rd location in Plano was extremely helpful! I was expecting to get maybe just an idea or two to help handle my garden questions and issues, but Ali came in clutch with information, planning help, finding realistic solutions, and selling me on a product that fits my current needs and budget to a T. Absolutely wonderful customer service from Ali. Thank you so much! I'll be back!
