Came here to drop off a broken cabinet and they stopped us and said we’d have to pay “since it’s a remodel drop off”, BUT you have to go back out into the 40 car line, then get weighed drop off the stuff AND GET BACK IN THE LINE to get weighed again. If that is your system at least get another weigh station.
Has to be the cleanest dump in the history of ever. Best bet is to catch Bennie or go very prepared to defend what is in your junk, your water bill, how long your boards are and more against the newest czar of trash. Plano Pure is a great outfit. Love buying stuff from them.
They're always great but recently changed over to charging homeowners $52/ton for any "construction debris". We had about 100lbs of carpet that we tore out and was charged $52
Line is far to long. The issue is they don't have enough people at the gate to check people in. Simple solution for this problem. Add another person at busy times. They have plenty of dumping spaces so that isn't the issue. This also causes a traffic issue on Ridgeview drive. Needs to be fixed. Let's get on top of this and keep up with the city growth.
Even though the website identifies what liquid contaminants are able to be dropped off here, they refused everything we had. We tried to dump recycled motor oil, between 10-15 gallons, along with a few other items such as pesticide that we were wanting to recycle. Sent us on our way. They make it difficult for those wanting to do the right thing and protect the environment. I am stumped.
Change of policy! Even with valid water bill, they charged $25 to bring lumber (2*4s and plywood from a dog house) bc 'contractors' were abusing residential usage and now these materials are weighed for everyone. I was under 1k LBS so $25
