We wanted to spruce up our backyard to really enjoy it this summer, but I had no idea where to start. Spencer came out, walked us through several design options, and even provided a few renderings to help us visualize it. He communicated with us every step of the way—even giving us a heads-up when rain threatened the install day. Sure enough, it rained, but his team worked hard until the downpour started. I really appreciated how they incorporated some of our existing plants and features into the new design. The final result is beyond what we imagined. We’re so excited to relax by the pool now—this backyard has totally leveled up!

This is the second time I have used Yardbirds. Spencer has been very helpful and even went out of the way to talk to the HOA to resolve landscaping issues. The work done has been outstanding both times and they are easy to work with and have the best communication. The pics here are us having the second half of our yard resodded and it looks amazing. I highly recommend anyone who needs work done at a fair price and good quality to contact Yardbirds.

I had a great experience with Spencer at Yard Birds. Very engaged with planning, accommodating changes to the plan, and instruction after the install. Would absolutely recommend giving Yard Birds a shot at your landscape lighting needs. I had zero issues.

I've had a fantastic experience working with Yardbirds and Spencer on my landscaping project. When I bought my house a few years ago the grass and landscaping overall was in rough shape. Combine that with a couple years of drought and other issues and my lawn had completely gone to dirt.

When I first spoke with Spencer I was unsure of what I wanted to do or really needed. He was able to walk through why things had gotten so bad and come up with designs and ideas for revamping the landscaping that look great.

The quote came in at a reasonable price and the experience start to finish has been fantastic. They resodded and filled in my entire lawn front and back, redid the beds out front, and put new beds in the backyard.

Spencer and Yardbirds have gone the extra mile with this project. Lots of follow up and great communication over the course of the project and they continue to stop by and check that everything is looking good. During the project they quickly addressed small issues that popped up and were accommodating of last minute changes I made. They really care about the end result and making sure everything is perfect.

I will definitely recommend them to friends and family in the future.

Yard Birds is a professional company that will transform your yard from drab to fab! I was speechless when I saw the final results. I had a garden bed full of weeds and was embarrassed with how it looked and overwhelmed at the thought of clean it all up every time I came home.

I contacted Yard Birds and Corey was extremely professional and quick to give me a detailed quote. I also asked about their holiday lighting service and decided to go with his recommendations for both. The crew showed up and was out there most of the day and the results speak for themselves. The cost is worth it if you are too busy to maintain a yard and lack the knowledge to do so. I received my invoice via email and was able to pay online! You can also set up auto pay for their regular lawn maintenance package.

The holiday lighting package includes cost of lighting, installation and includes boxing it up at the end of the season (truly worry free!). It also includes warranty!

I would definitely recommend Yard Birds to anyone that felt the same way I did about their yard. I'm so very happy with the service, professionalism, contact and most of all, my yard!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! Yardbirds truly is a one stop shop for all of your home exterior needs. Our weekly maintenance crew only cuts our grass- they don’t take care of our beds, trees or shrubs. We hire yard birds a couple of times a year to do a full clean up of our yard, mulch our beds, and replace dead plants. I have attached some before and after pictures of our front yard for reference. (They even completely removed old beds when we first moved in that were eyesores!).

Their designers are amazing from start to finish. Yardbirds will be working on our backyard full remodel design- new outdoor kitchen & patio, all new landscaping and our new pool (yes, they will even do the design of your pool! They recommend Austin Custom Pools for pool building as the owners of both companies have worked together on several projects). I will share another review of before and after of that project- we are a few years out.

They have also saved the day when we had issues with our sprinkler system. We have had underground leaks and a busted spigot that they were able to come out and fix within 24 hours.

Yardbirds has also done our Christmas lights every year. They are custom fit to your home, they provide timers that are easy to modify, they will come out and replace any lights that have gone out, they will fix any sections that fall down due to weather, and they also come and take them down and put them in boxes that you store in your garage. FULL SERVICE IS AMAZING!

Yardbirds might not have the cheapest quote of all of the companies you may inquire with, but you get what you pay for. If you want your home to look like a resort or model home, they are the company to hire. If you want top tier service, professional and competent staff (both their inside and outside operations) and a company that is family owned and operated, choose Yardbirds!

I needed to replace my back and side fence in my backyard so I reached out to Yard Birds for help. The process was so smooth and the professional service from beginning to end was outstanding. I highly recommend them for any project you may have from fence to landscaping or lighting.

Had my fence extended and added a gate. Sean and his guys did a great job. Everything looks even and custom. I will be using Summerlin Landscaping for my future outdoor projects

Sean was going to do some landscaping for our backyard and build us a deck with upgraded 4 6x6 post which would also be our post for our pergola. His price was reasonable and we agree to have him do our project. However, while building the deck we noticed that the post were not align properly. My two back post were closer together while my two front post were further apart thus causing my deck to go off at an odd angle. On top of that, the deck was not cut properly so now I have holes in the back of my deck by my door. When we address the issue with him, he says he would fix his mistakes if we downgrade our 6x6 post or paid him more.He stated that he could not put his crew through the hassle of fixing the mistake. He then left with the remaining gravel that was needed to complete the project. Needless to say I was very disappointed and had to find a different contractor.

I only give one star because it won't let you post a ZERO!!!! Nothing short of horrible - came out for initial estimate and seemed to know what he was doing - paid half down to start the job - once he showed up, brought the wrong stone but we were told it was popular and everyone uses it - showed up with the wrong size pavers (we were quoted 20 - 24 inch - he brought 12 inch) showed up with wrong gravel - his excuse was the rains had made it hard for the gravel companies to harvest the river rock that we wanted. Every time my wife or I tried to speak, he got louder and interrupted so that we couldn't speak. I said something to him about this practice then he got smart ass with me and I told him "Get the &%#@ off my property." We met with Sean and his wife and worked out the differences... or so we thought. The project that he was trying to do which was grading ground to be level and installing pavers as well as drainage system, actually caused another problem that caused water to stand in one spot about 4 inches deep. He offered to write an estimate TO FIX THE PROBLEM THAT HE CAUSED - OMG SERIOUSLY??? Sean was fired from the job and thru trying to contact his company at the address listed, found that he can't be contacted. We hired another landscape company that literally laughed at the botched work that Summerlin Landscaping had done. It cost a couple thousand dollars to undo the work that Summerlin had done just to get started. Once the new company started, it was very obvious that Summerlin Landscape had no idea what they were doing. Nevertheless, the new company did an amazing job but save your time, frustration level and money.... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Sean was very helpful and responsive. And he and his crew did an excellent job installing a gate on the side of my house. And also they did beautiful landscaping in the front.

Sean planted grass, redid our flower beds and took down a small tree for us after our home was rebuilt from a fire. He was priced well and VERY easy to work with. This was a year ago and I still call him for help from time to time. I will definitely refer him and use him in the future.

I wanted to do a custom landscaping in the front yard. I told Sean I wanted something beautiful and easy to maintain. I wanted something that when people drive by they stop and say wow! Well Sean did exactly that. My neighbors are envious and the front yard looks awesome!

Sean is very knowledge with the horticulture aspects of the landscape. He knows what to plant and where it will thrive. We wasted money previously with incorrect planting and mulching techniques. He corrected the issues and persistently made adjustments to ensure we were 100% satisfied. We will save money in the long run and the yard is greatly improved.

Sean was very helpful and knowledgeable. He came for the initial visit to give some ideas of what he would recommend and discussed with him what we wanted in front, back and side. He offered some great suggestions. He came a few days later to do the backyard and it looked outstanding. Great blend of plants and colors. Did great border and small river rock. He coordinated with my concrete curbing guy. He came second time to do the front, after curbing was in and cured. The front is super and looks great. He did the work on budget and cleaned up well. I would highly recommend Sean and his company. He is a pleasant person and easy to work with.
