I called because I saw on our local Facebook neighborhood page. I told the receptionist that I needed a complete drainage solution. She had to put me on hold to see if they offer this service. She then came back on and said they do and it's $115 / hr for someone to come out, talk to us and fix it. I tried to explain to her what I was asking for was not as easy as just having someone come and fix it in an hour. I told her I thought it was like a 2-day job...her response was "Yeah, well, that's what we charge for something like this...$115 / hr"

So, without even really understanding what I needed and giving me an idea of how long it would take I am supposed to just blindly pay someone $115 / hr and I don't even know what the solution ultimately is?

I called they came right out, I had a tree split from the winds (May 22, 2020) at 3:00am this morning. Asked if they could just cut the limb so would not fall on fence since they couldn’t get to me until next week. He was rather cocky with me and said well good luck we’re insured we do a better job and you’re going to pay a lot more than what we charge and I said well I guess you’re not the one for me if you can’t help me out here and he walked out of the backyard through the garage and left.

I rate Smith Lawn and Tree very favorably. The bidding was professional and prompt. The tree crew guys were on time and on task. They worked effectively and safely to remove a big tree. They cleaned up as they worked, and they left the site really clean. I recommend smith lawn and Tree, and I would use this company again.

The place where I currently work uses Smith Lawn and Tree. I gave them 5 stars because I am impressed to see the owner (at least I think it is) comes out every week the day after his crew was out to check up to make sure they did their job and that it is to his satisfaction. If something is not to his satisfaction he gets down and does the dirty work!

Good service seems hard to find these days, and especially a business that'll stand behind their work. Thankfully Smith isn't one of them; they exceeded our expectations with solid work and great follow-through. Glen Jennings is a superb leader on their team and he did very well in upholding the integrity and reputation of Smith, not to mention being very knowledgeable. Kudos to Smith, thanks for all the good work, you've earned my business going forward.

We had a large tree removed and other trees got a major trim. The cost was reasonable and the crew was very professional in doing their job. The crew was careful of other shrubbery and our neighbors property. Our property was completely cleaned of all limbs, twigs and leaves from their work.

Smith did an amazing job with our trees, re-sodding our front lawn and our overall maintenance year round including leaf pickup. They go above and beyond!

Smith lawn and tree service is an amazing place to work. It's also a very organized establishment. Every morning they are ready to rock and roll. Every client's property and every bit of landscaping is already mapped out by the management. When the guys get there everything is seamless. I trust them very much and they do wonderful work.

Smith Lawn and Tree does a fantastic job with all of our lawn care needs. Their workers are very professional and friendly. Other than lawn service, they planted our new landscaping as well as seasonal flowers. They trim our trees and also administer our pre emergent/fertilizer. They keep our entire yard looking great all year. Give them a try!

Great overall experience! Tree trimming looks great and uniform! Shannon was early to the initial estimate visit and was responsive of our requests. Quality work was done in an efficient and timely fashion. Bill came in under bid. Great clean up too! This owner is nit picky about clean up!

Absolutely great work and outstanding service!! Everyone I've talked with at Smith's has been professional, courteous, and helpful. Glen, their arborist, stopped by to discuss the multiple projects I had in mind and offer suggestions. He suggested I use the tree crew for a full day which turned out to be a great investment. Those guys did exceptional work! They were quick, efficient, and left the jobsite cleaner than it had been when they arrived. They were careful in working around the house and existing planting, leaving everything in good shape when they were finished. Really enjoyed having all of them around for the day and they left the place far improved. The lawn service crew came the next day and it was more of the same. I discussed with them what I wanted to clean up and they worked steadily all day reclaiming about an acre of my property that had gone wild. Well done! These guys were equally good to work with, professional and efficient. I'd highly recommend Smith's for any of your lawn and tree projects. They are extremely reliable, do excellent work, and are reasonably priced....plus, just nice folks to work with and a pleasure to have around your home. I wouldn't consider using any other service and in fact have scheduled them for another project at my home.

Irrigation work: As a professional horticulturist I’ve worked with staff at Smith across multiple projects (not to mention many landscaping and irrigation companies). Recently I needed some specific irrigation repairs done and the other irrigation company I called in for an urgent call actually caused new damage to my system, rendering the zone I hired them to repair useless again. So I contacted Smith for a full system audit, specific repairs to drip lines and heads, a new backflow preventer box installation, and a new rain/freeze sensor. The irrigation tech Thomas was communicative, prompt, nice to deal with, and knocked out all of my repairs correctly in less time than anticipated, all without damaging anything or any plants in my landscape. Excellent experience and highly recommend.
