Asked for an estimate to get some work done in both our front and back yard. Josh came out and took pictures and we discussed the vision. He promised to have an estimate at the beginning of the following week.

Two weeks later, after being told a couple of times that they would have my estimate ready, I received an email from Josh saying he was too busy to even provide an estimate and would not be able to work with us.

Now I’ve wasted several weeks giving them an opportunity to provide what was promised and will have to start from scratch. I would not recommend wasting your time with this company.

Good quality. Fast work. Got exactly what I was wanting. Highly recommend. Will be using again on future projects.

Southern Style Landscaping did an incredible job with our tree trimming! Our large oak trees were overgrown and looking a bit wild, but their crew meticulously shaped them, improving both their appearance and health. They were prompt, cleaned up everything perfectly, and their pricing was very fair. It's amazing what a difference professional tree trimming makes. Highly recommend them for any tree service!

Matthew and his team did an excellent job sprucing up the front of our Ridge Lakes home in Heath! Professional, timely, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. We have every intention to use Southern Seasons Landscaping again very soon when we spruce up the backyard landscape.

We reached out to a couple landscaping companies to help us design and install a new flower bed for the front of our home. Southern Seasons Landscaping and Design out of Rockwall, TX was by far the most responsive and professional. Matt came out and talked with me about what I was looking for. Frankly, I was not even sure. Our landscape was 23 years old and the freeze a couple years ago had killed most of our bushes. It looked terrible. We talked and he started seeing my ideas and his mind started designing right away. His quote was thorough and fair. We hired him and he started a few days later. He and his team completed the job in just 1/2 day! During the demo and the install his team asked questions rather than just assume. They were so polite and cared enough to listen. They were careful not to break any water sprinkler pipes or cable lines (that was running through the root ball of one of the scrubs being replaced). The end result exceeded our expectations. We will use Matt and his company again and highly recommend.

Matthew and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish! Polite, communicative and committed. He delivered exactly what we needed for a problem area on the side yard and within our budget. Completely satisfied and will be using his services in the near future! Definitely recommend giving him a call !

Matt & his team did a great job on our tree trimming & sod install. The sod was good quality, and they cleaned up all the tree limbs. They were also the best priced out of a few quotes. Very happy with them 😊😊 5*

Matthew Wilcox just completed a large drainage project for me. Thank goodness he was able to think outside the box, unlike others landscapers that looked at the project. He was able to eliminate the standing water on my deck from an underground spring. Best of all he installed pavers, which are beautiful and functional.

Matt and his entire crew were all very kind, professional and very easy to work with! We had a new stone landscaping wall put in, sod for entire front yard, new shrubs in flowerbed/mulch, ground cover on the side of house and Sprinkler valve/heads replaced! Matt came to the job site every time his crew were here and helped them! Matt will give you 150% of himself to get the job completed and completed correctly! Matt and crew worked around schedule of concrete company pouring our sidewalk! I "highly" recommend Matt and his crew!

Camw out to get me an estimate but Never did get a quote been several weeks. When asked about it was told been in dirt all day get it to you tonight that was weeks ago.

Matthew and I had many discussions and disagreements about plants but he was always polite and professional. He was quick, did what he said he was going to do ( including getting my opinion on everything) , and made our yard beautiful. I read so many reviews about bad contractors, but southern seasons is an exception. They are a good company that does quality work.

Layed this zoysia sod at our venue for our first event. Definitely took the attention off of the ground that was still recovering from construction. 10/10 work and was time efficient and great quality. Matthew is the best there is in the DFW area, you will not be disappointed!

1. Customer oriented business with a passionate desire for customer satisfaction.
2. Job was to install 2 pallets of Bermuda tiff sod on an uneven earth. My number 1 concern was a level earth before install. There was a lot of back and forth with owner Matthew but at the end of the day I was satisfied with the surface.
3. The sod was installed less than 48 hrs after cut and looks great.
4. Southern seasons has earned the right to be my first call on future landscaping needs.

Matthew and his team were OUTSTANDING! to work with!! Matthew worked tirelessly designing and redesigning our front yard project. He was so patient with our many questions and changes!! We did seek bids from two other local companies and Matthew's ideas/knowledge were by far superior!! I HIGHLY recommend him and his company for all your landscaping needs!!

I needed a small area of gravel near my house to park a trailer. Southern Seasons did an incredible job in a very short amount of time. I know they can handle much bigger jobs, but it was great that they could help me with my smaller project. I recommend you give them a call to see how they can make your project PERFECT!
