Saved our HOA Community thousands of dollars. I had received bids from several Garden Centers to deliver 10 large 45 gallon Crape Myrtles, 40 oleanders, 5 Mimosa's & asked for suggestions on what to plant on our entrances to the community. John the lead guy suggested Knockout Roses, Foxtail ferns, Ginger & Lantanas, All of which survived the freeze except Lantanas. The 45 Gallon Crape Myrtles were 1/3 the price of all other Garden Centers. They even included delivery, dug the holes & planted, mulched and steaked the large trees & all of the order at a lower price than the other Garden Centers price for delivery & the plants alone. We even had them bid the sprinklers & bubblers for the threes as he suggested heavy watering for 1 month & he guaranteed all the trees. Great experience * I strongly recommend Estrada's Nursery. We will continue to use them moving forward.

This is my last visit after being a customer here for 5 years. I was yelled at, lied to and disrespected by one of their worker's today for no reason. She claimed I was breaking stone and she was afraid her boss was going to yell at her for the mess. She then called her boss an a-hole and claimed she was not enjoying her job. I politely said sorry but I just needed stone and I'll leave, we dont need to talk about this. I told her I needed 40 feet of already lose and broken stone and I was making a line to ensure I had enough. She continued to belittle me as I lined up the stone. Frustrated, she called her boss and lied to tell him saying I was throwing stone everywhere. She said he said I should leave the premises. I said I needed to speak with the manager and she told me just to leave. I waited for the manger to show up and explained what happened, but he did not seem to believe either of us. Come to find out the manager did NOT ask me to leave, she lied again. He also told me he has cameras on the property and will comfirm the truth later.

I have never felt more disrespected at a place of business in my life. This all happened in front of my wife and 2 children as well.

Purchased 2 yards of sand on separate occasions and it was a good straightforward experience. The costs were very competitive.

Thinking of going again very soon!

Very poor customer service. I went there to buy bull rocks so I was loaded the wrong rocks, I called there to complain “the owner was rude and argumentative. Me, family and friends will take my business somewhere else. Ver

Reasonable prices and knowledgeable customer service. Estrada's is my go-to stop for all things landscaping. Their selection of plants is great but the selection of stone and rocks is the icing on the cake.

4/15 If I give a zero I would. Confirmed price and quantity of the items the day before and an hour before I drove the 45 minutes there. After 30 minutes of wandering around the 'Breaking Bad' set disguised as a nursery-because they dont group same trees together, nor speak english-we found 8 anemic ones not the 20 beautitful ones the manager said they had. As a bonus he increased his price from an hour ago. We left ther disgusted. If you see the sign 'Estradas' keep driving. Do not waste your time.

Truly a terrible experience. Spoke with the owner directly about a project that I needed done. After rescheduling several times, they then showed up late to my job site so that I could not physically be there to oversee the project. Upon my arrival, the work I saw was disappointing and incomplete. Then upon asking about why the job wasn’t finished, I was told that what I was quoted was not for the complete job I wanted. I went ahead and paid for the job and now the business is refusing to give me a receipt 4 DAYS LATER. Despite asking MULTIPLE times. The owner was also rude about the entire situation.

Found this "company" through Facebook marketplace.

We wanted to get some sod grass.

We agreed on a price. But John (guess he's the owner) wants cash payment before delivery.

I arranged for my husband to come by his location the day before but unfortunately, my husband got tied up with scheduled meetings and all.

Most of our vendors meet us at the property and we pay cash that way anyways.

But this guy was waaaaayyyyyyy too obnoxious about getting the cash payment before delivery. He had already spoken with my husband and my husband was getting ready to head out to his location and pay him cash.

He then keeps messaging me and keeps threatening me he will cancel the order.

I said, "didn't you already speak with my husband?"

He was obnoxious about getting the cash payment before delivery. But he still kept threatening me that he will cancel the order despite speaking to my husband and despite him being told that he will be getting the payment shortly.

My husband had to get ready, take a shower, and all.

But this guy keeps messaging me on FB again and again, again and again.

Seems like he's so money hungry!

Then eventually tells me he's cancelling the order and he doesn't do business that way.

GOOD RIDDANCE.

We don't do business that way either.

Most of our vendors trust us and meets us where it's convenient for us -- which is at the property where grass will be delivered.

Not this guy. He's obnoxious.

UPDATE: Upon finding out this review, this guy John texted me and threatening me to leave a a review on our AirBnb and threatens to post my "rude" text messages. Which by the way, he was the one posting rude text messages and harassing me.

Please BEWARE doing business with this guy.

Prices are very competitive, took a little bit to get service the first time I showed up during the week but was better when I came back on weekend. Install and delivery went well. I’ll buy from them again.

The owner was friendly but the employee we asked for help refused to let us purchase the flagstone we wanted because she didn’t want us to make “a mess.” I did not get her name, but she was not friendly and we left feeling like she didn’t want our business. We went to Living Earth in Richmond and bought half a palate of Mexican rose Flagstone. We received friendly service and there was a nice variety of stone to choose from.

First time coming here and we were able to pick out our beautiful Live Oak tree !!!

I bought 4 trees a few weeks ago. They were prompt to schedule and install. I then noticed that there were only 2 stakes and trees were kind of leaning that concerned me. I had some communication issues with his crew on the day of installation but I called Mr. Estrada and he promptly sent his guy to fix it.

I would highly recommended them. Mr. Estrada, thank you for taking care of your customers.

Had a terrible experience. They advertise half price for this month on Facebook and offer up but when you show up they don’t honor those prices. The receptionist gave us attitude and seemed to be in a bad mood the entire time. Our whole experience was very frustrating since they gave us a price and then changed their minds, had us call the owner and still raised the price. He was asking his employee of the tree was dry instead of asking type and gallons. Don’t recommend you buy from this place.

My Review: Not terrible but the owner’s a real @$$hole. Took my business to Sienna Mulch. It’s better organized, much nicer, and the people are more helpful. No sweat off my back.

Purchased two white crape myrtle yesterday and was delivered the same day. Not sure these bad reviews, but the staff and owner (John) was super informative and cool to me. I went back to purchase another single stem purple crape myrtle today. -Tony H.

I like this nursery a lot, has small size live oak and magnolia at really great price

I went today and had a great experience! The owner took me in his vehicle back to see the crepe myrtles. He was busy but took the time. Also showed me where other items are. I was only looking for a few specific items but I will definitely go back. He has quality plants a a good price. I would rather support a family business.
For those that complained about workers I don’t think they are there to interact with the customers but I could be wrong. If your looking for warm and fuzzy go to Home Depot and a computer will check you out and good luck finding anyone to help you.
I left out the young lady that checked me out. So nice and cared that the trees I was buying got tagged so I would get exactly what I wanted. So nice!

Great experience. Good price and planted my Weeping Willow the next day. Mr. Estrada was very nice and easy to do business with.

First of all, the place was empty, until someone went to the office to look for someone to help us. A girl came out with a very bad face, as if we had woken her from her nap. She didn't make the slightest effort to pay attention to us.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Poor customer service in English and in Spanish because I understood both! When the owner Juan/John spoke to me he was rude. All that was requested was a legible receipt. You could be over charging me and I can't read the receipt!! I don't care that the machine has been like that for months or that all your customers have allowed this to be ok. My money was good enough for automatic debit, but not good enough for a clearly printed receipt.

We’ve been going to Estrada’s garden center for a couple of years and have found great sod a 1/2 the price of Home Depot’s and a great selection of healthy plants as well as landscaping materials. They are very friendly and have efficient employees. We’ve never been disappointed.
