This was one of those home projects we’d been putting off for the past two years, and I’m so glad we finally went through with it. My front yard looks like a completely different house! We asked David for something simple, with minimal plants. He gave us helpful suggestions—like removing a bush, adding rocks, and doing some edging. We trusted his expertise without hesitation and said, “Let’s do it.”

David and his team are incredibly talented, and we’ll definitely be using their services again in the future.

I had asked David and his team for a pebble area where a fire pit could go, mulch with 3 trees in the back and some other greenery, fix the fence and stain it, grass with irrigation installed and some stepping stones for a grill area.

4 days these guys KNOCKED IT OUT! David and his team were so nice and SO FAST! It was such a relief having them do this - I really felt like my vision was being heard and executed perfectly!

I will only be calling David for any lawn needs from now on - he took the time to go over everything with me in massive detail (including my new irrigation system).

David and his guys did an excellent job with our landscaping. He made really good suggestions regarding the shrub types, cost, and alternatives, always with an eye towards cost. Not only did they complete the job quickly, they did it all with great attention to detail. One of the guys was measuring the distance between shrubs with a tape measure to ensure they were uniform, and they tidied everything up beautifully when they were done.
Overall quality of the work, the speed at which they got the job done, and the very friendly and respectful attitude, made it a pleasure to have them at our house. We are already planning future jobs for them!!!

David and the crew did an amazing job bringing our landscaping vision to life with this project. He came out same day as our inquiry was submitted to discuss plans and give us a quote. He and the crew were super friendly, professional, and prompt. I appreciated David’s insight on what shrubs, flowers, greenery, etc would look best while keeping cost in mind. The crew worked swiftly and carefully when it came to adjusting our irrigation, cleaned up and polished our curbing, pavers, and driveway once they were done, and even met my request to come back after the project was done to rearrange one of the plants in the flower bed. Their customer service was amazing, and we’re already planning future projects for our backyard and for outdoor lighting in the future with David and his team. Thank you again! :)

I had a large project that needed to be done and it needed to be done right away. Lots of brush to clear as well are road base to be laid down. I contacted several companies and it only did they respond the fastest with a quote, they also were able to turnaround and get the job done within a few days!

I contact him on Tuesday and they were out there working the job that same weekend! This was huge and a lifesaver. Loved the professionalism in his communication. Loved his product. Thank you very much!

David and team did such a good job with our stepping stone walkway and limestone garden bed. The entire process from consultation to completion was super smooth. They pay attention to detail, does multiple inspections and leave everything spotless. Would definitely hire again for the remaining backyard projects. Highly recommend them.

Let me start by saying how impressed we are with the work done by The Works Lawn Service. The service provided by them well exceeded our expectations. We were having our front lawn done by someone else that lacked communication and was months into the project with little to no progress. One of our friends highly recommended The Works Lawn Service and I spoke with David, the owner. David jumped on board and his professionalism and dedication to our needs and wants were outstanding. My wife and I told him about how we wanted our dream flower bed and new sidewalk to look like, and he came up with a design that exceeded our needs and wants. From day one the communication was perfect and the speed of making our dream come true was even faster. It only took his crew three half days to complete. This includes taking everything down to almost nothing and starting from fresh. David and every member of his crew were very knowledgeable and caring about the outcome of the project. They were able to do all the work themselves without hiring any sub-contractors which helped finish the project without delays. I can’t say enough about this company. The transformation of our yard by David and his awesome crew from The Works was truly life-changing for us. What was turning into a multi-year DIY project was accomplished by The Works in a matter of days. David was able to take our vision to a whole new level with excellent ideas for plants, sod, and lighting. The end result just blows us away!
We couldn't have asked for someone better to work with. David took all sorts of time to listen, make notes, ask questions, and really try to understand what we wanted to accomplish. Then he was personally on-site almost every day to check on the crew and check in with us on progress. He listened to our concerns and we easily worked through issues along the way. Even after the job was done, David kept checking back with us on next steps, watering, mowing, etc. True follow-through.
And the crew was great to work with. So much more than just hard workers, which they certainly were, they were conscientious about the work; it wasn't just another job for them. Even with the minor language barrier, they were eager to listen and understand when we had a detail which we wanted to change. And usually, if we suggested one way to do something, they had the experience to show us a better way which was faster and created a better end result. Every day trash was picked up, tools aggregated, and our driveway made useable for the evening. Great guys! Awesome crew!
So we can't say thanks enough for the hard work done by The Works Lawn Service. They truly did a great job for us and will be our first and only call for any future landscaping or yard work.

I found this landscaping service online last year, and they did an amazing job transforming my space!l

I didn’t really know what I wanted, but an amazing and very knowledgeable Designer came out to help me chose the right things for my home/soil/level of commitment 🤣.

This company is full service to help you if you just want a change/upgrade, but don’t know how.

I reached out a few days ago to ask if they would do a simple yard cleanup for me just to get rid of the leaves in the yard. The actual owner came out and sent me an estimate that was less than I expected for the service I was seeking. He recommended more when he was standing in my yard, and offered to refresh the job they did a year ago with new mulch for only $100 more. He was not pushy at all, and it was a no-brainer for that crazy inexpensive offer.

When I came home and saw the work they did, when originally I just wanted the leaves to be cleaned up, was ridiculous! I agreed to $100 extra to put down a very small layer of mulch to help it loook better. They actually cleaned up weeds, put new mulch down everywhere, including places in the back yard that they didn’t even originally do. They also mowed and edged my yard and cut back the plants they had previously planted for their best care….that was not part of my agreement.

As a regular homeowner that doesn’t know who to use for any service, this is a Huge Win! This is a company I have literally recommended to 2 people in my life recently looking for landscaping.

They have been amazing, and also did concrete and drainage work at my house last year. I had a drainage problem that David knew how to fix and personally supervised.❤️
It’s so much more than lawn care. They are great at more intricate aspects of landscaping from my experience.

Words cannot express how incredibly lucky we feel to have found The Works Lawn Service team. From initial outreach through the completion of the project, the entire team was incredible!

Jennifer helped us with our initial ideas and putting together a quote for review. Made some changes after her insight on keeping costs down but still provide the impact we wanted. Great communication and clearly understood our vision. Next Up: David (the owner) was friendly, communicative, and instrumental in ensuring his team was fully prepped and prepared to execute our dream yard. We even made some small changes on the fly based on his expertise and insight, and were so glad we did.

We were stunned to learn everything could be completed in under 3 days! True to their word, they finished after 2.5days and we hosted a BBQ that very day because they left the yard spotless. As many others have said in their reviews, we are already planning for the front yard and will only use The Works.

Couldn’t be happier with our custom limestone garden beds, steel circular bed, paved entry to the yard (previously a horrendous mud pit), and new seating area. We planted everything ourselves, except the lovely Vitex tree. Next time, we’ll just hire David’s team to do the planting because they probably could have knocked it our way faster than we did :)

David and his team did an amazing job on my front yard project. They provide a detailed quote and a 3D sketch of how they project will look so that the customer can make edits before approving the quote. His team works fast and are very detailed oriented, making sure everything is set up perfectly. I was surprised at how quickly they finished bth projects. I am very happy with the front lawn redesign and lighting that they installed and will use this company for my future projects, as they offer great pricing and will make your property look outstanding! I highly recommend them for any housing project.

We had an outstanding experience working with David (owner), Francisco (sales and designer) and "The Works" team, on the creation and implementation of our outdoor living space. They created a thoughtful, cohesive plan that beautifully tied together the hardscape, lighting, and plantings, completely transforming our space on paper and in vision.

Their attention to detail, creativity, and understanding of how we actually use our outdoor areas really set them apart. The lighting plan is functional, warm, and perfectly placed to highlight both the hardscape and landscaping. The planting selections, some of which will be planted in the Spring, are well-balanced, purposeful, and clearly chosen with long-term growth and maintenance in mind.

Communication was clear and professional throughout the process, and they were always open to feedback while offering expert guidance. We now have a design we’re genuinely excited to enjoy and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-designed and elevated outdoor living plan.

Illlscapes in a very professional landscaping company in Round Rock area. I like their website and how they have excellent communication. Would highly recommend them for landscaping or hardscaping projects.

Just gotta give a shoutout to IllScapes for their kickass landscaping skills! I hired them for sod installation, hardscaping, and building a badass retaining wall, and they totally nailed it!

First things first, their sod installation game is on point! The hardscaping work they did is straight fire. They crafted a killer patio and pathway. Seriously, it’s like a party for the eyes every time I step outside.

The retaining wall they built was off the charts good!

Throughout the whole project, the IllScapes crew were super easy to work with. They kept me in the loop, answered all my Qs, and left no mess behind.
