A couple years ago Austin Area Plumbing redid all the plumbing for the 2nd floor where I live. I had to call them back the next day to let them know that my shower faucets were not secured in the wall. They returned to "fix." Yesterday the faucets pulled away from the shower tile again, so I opened the escutcheon to assess, and lo and behold, those mugs literally just caulked the shower arm covers to the tile instead of securing the pipes IN THE WALL!
This happened during a transition phase when AAP was changing ownership and new people were being trained, so judging by all the other good reviews since the transition, I assume that everyone is was trained successfully? I hope AAP will make this right for us, $9000 later!

Called Austin Area Plumbing for a toilet issue in an ADU and Blake advised us on what the issue could be and to contact the builder first since it was a new build and it should be convered under the warranty (we later learned that the structure was not covered under the warranty but that's a story for another day...). Blake's attitude was friendly and he was knowledgable and listened to our needs so we put Austin Area Plumbing in our back pocket for another time.

We later needed someone to help finish out and correct some plumbing permit work related to adding in a new sink as well as address a water heater error code so we called them again and Alex and his work partner (starts with an S?) came. They were also friendly and knowledgable, listened to our needs, and resolved the issues. We had an inspection and needed some corrections and Alex came out again to address this and the changes were approved by the inspector.

After having some additional work done we contacted them again to make sure the sink was installed correctly and Blake came again and the sink is now up and running. We also asked if he could adjust a shower drain cover in addition to the other task and he did and it looks great.

Each time we called we either talked to a woman (Melissa maybe) or a man whose name I don't think I got. They were both professional and knowledgable.

I liked receiving the quotes and invoices as they were transparent and showed us what we needed to know. There are also many ways of paying.

We would definitely recommend and use this company again.
