Was I ever bummed out when my long trusted AC guy retired a few months ago; how would I ever find a solid replacement? Via a friend, I got introduced to Morgan and Irvin who own and run AirFix. My A/C went out on a Friday night, and I contacted Irving Saturday morning. He gave the best priced bid, was able to come on Sunday, unlike the other two companies, and also dropped off a portable A/C unit so I could at least cool one room down enough for my kids to sleep the night before they came to fix it. The fix was easy and professional. These guys did a great job.

I hired this outfit to repair my A/C unit that was shutting down once it reached 72 degrees. They came in and made some changes in the ductwork system and charged me $4000. The system continued to do the same after their repair. Then, they said the whole system had to be replaced at a cost of $12 to $13K. I asked for a detailed price breakdown, andI never heard from them again.
Then, I called another A/C repair company and they fixed the problem for a normal house call price.
This outfit does not know what they are doing. I don’t recommend them at all.

AirFix Mechanical LLC was able to visit and assess my non-functioning HVAC unit same-day. The tech diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes and said if he had the correct motor for my system in stock he'd come back that evening to install it. He had the high-efficiency ECM motor and installed it a few hours later! He validated his work by checking that the Heat and Air would circulate. The system has been running smoothly since.
