Byron was fast, processional, friendly, and only here for a short time. He got my AC up and running and my home was already substantially cooler by the time he pulled away. He also made sure to answer all questions and made sure we had no more questions or concerns before leaving. I would highly recommend!

Our neighbor referred us to
Emergency AC of Austin. They were fantastic! Our AC stopped working overnight. They came the day we called. Byron was quick, friendly, and very helpful. It turns out we needed an item that was backordered and hard to find. They found it in Fort Worth and had it to us a few days later. He fixed it and it was in working condition when we returned home. Friendly, efficient, fair prices!!

I had an excellent experience with James from Emergency AC! He did an outstanding job inspecting my AC system, showing both professionalism and a friendly attitude throughout the process. James conducted a thorough inspection, carefully examining every part of my unit. He pointed out all the issues that needed attention and addressed each one efficiently. It was clear that he takes pride in his work and values customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be asking for James for any future AC inspections. Highly recommended!

This post is about the repair price, not the service person or visit. This company is now called Silver Spur Air. The service person was on site for 1 hour, 20 minutes. The service rep ended up replacing a very common part for the two outdoor units. The charge was exorbitant, given the two common replacement parts and time to complete the installation. Your company can make a nice/fair profit without charging exorbitant prices/rates. This is the first time and last time that I use this company due to the exorbitant repair price/rates.

Amazing company with quick and reliable service. John made himself quickly available to talk me through an installation quote. He also walked me through what worked best for me and my family. The installers were also very professional, friendly, and completed the job quickly. Will be referring family and friends!

Roy was great. Price was fair. Lennox equipment. Same price as Carrier. Got 6 bids. Glad I chose them.
Complete scope of work. Other cos didnt have the complete scope. Install crew appears to have done a good job. Experienced. This was a difficult job. Attic install with tight space. They came through. Good coordination with the office. Would definitely recommend this co. Good quality job.

Called Silver Spur in an emergency AC situation and from start to finish they were nothing but professional and extremely helpful. Twyla, on the phone, quickly assessed our issue, made contact with her technician and scheduled a fast call out. Daniel and Dylan came out on time, assessed and fixed the issue very quickly, and I was only too happy to join their maintenance program. They even dropped the call out charge for that!! These guys were extremely pleasant and know their profession. Thanks guys, pleasure being part of Silver Spur!

Ty was great, super knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I called this morning at 11:15a and they sent Ty out the same day and he arrived at 1:00p, which is incredibly fast. He noticed one issue that he fixed right away and we have a plan if it doesn't completely solve our problem. Fee was reasonable (especially considering the time it took him) and I'm very happy with the service overall. Will definitely be using them again in the future if there are any issues.

I got my whole system done by this company when it was called Emergency AC two years ago, and they have always been quick and effective.

My AC stopped working last night later than when I thought they'd be answering phones but I was able to make an appointment for the next day.

I was helped by Daniel Walker and another technician. They showed up on time, were respectful and kind, and it was just an issue where a wire got loose on the thermostat I installed. They fixed it quickly and I would def recommend using this company!

Silver Spur did an outstanding job of replacing our HVAC system. When I called to make an appointment the lady that scheduled us was very sweet and was able to get us a next day appointment for a free estimate. I had called about 10 other companies in the area and Silver Spur gave us the best quote that balanced both affordability and service. I felt that we were getting a great deal for the brand and type of unit we needed while still getting the service that comes with an established company. At the time we were completely without AC during the heat of the summer and Silver Spur sent techs that waited with me and worked with me to ensure that I was getting the unit that I wanted and went out of their way to move their plans around so that they could do a next day instillation. I received the brand I was looking for in the price range I was happy with, along with a discount and a new high tech thermostat as added benefits. So far the ac is working great and I’m happy to know that they also offered a year of labor warranty incase anything happens. By far happy with the price, service, and timing of their company, and their techs that installed the unit were quiet and curious to us during the transition as well.

James Maddox has tended to two of our service calls for our air conditioner problems. He is super helpful and answers all the questions that I have about our unit. Also he is straight forward with what the issue is and addresses how to fix it in a timely fashion.

Very responsive company and they are amazing communicators! Every single one of them! Everything was top notch from sales to install and even a service checkup. This company deserves more than 5 stars and a company like this is very difficult to come by now days!!! Very detail oriented and very clean!! I also got a very competitive price! These guys rock and I will definitely use them again. You will not regret using them and I highly recommend them! They even brought me a portable AC in while we waited for our equipment. Update one month after install: John was my sales person and when I first sat down with him I told him my upstairs never cools in one room and freezes in another. He advised me to update the duct system and add return air vents in every room! It was the best recommended advice I received from any other company. I have to say is in triple digit Temps my home is the most comfortable environment it has ever been in 30 years! My hub and I talk about how comfortable it is frequently so I just wanted to thank John! Just absolutely amazing!!!! The air in the home feels so refreshing too!!!

The old Carrier AC was blowing hot air, again. So I called for several quotes for HVAC installation on Wednesday. John was willing to come around 7:30 pm to give me a good deal on Daikin 3 ton Gas Horizontal 15.2 seer2. He really takes great care of his customers and accommodates the best he could. He has scheduled Oscar and his crew for the installation starting at 9 am on Saturday. (Today) So I don't need to take the day off from work.

Oscar and his crew came early and worked hard. They are easy to work with reliable skillset. They even cleanup afterward. I would strongly recommend Emergency AC of Austin for their quick and reliable services.

Daikin was blowing hot air started on Sunday night. I contacted John on Monday around 9:20 am. Immediately, Byron has been scheduled to come around noon. Luckily, Byron came early to rescue. It turned out was the bad capacitor issue. Byron quickly replaced it. Yeah....Daikin starts working, again!

I could smell cigarette in the house, even though no one was smoking. I called Emergency AC of Austin at around 9:30 am. Immediately, they arrange the technician, Roy Mathews, to come check around 11:00 am. Roy thoroughly checked HVAC unit at the attics and control panel, but didn't find anything was wrong. Since this is a condo, Roy explained that possible my neighbors were smoking. I really appreciated Roy's professionalism! I'm really glad to have Emergency AC of Austin to support any of my HVAC issues! Thanks you!

Irvin was very punctual, professional, informative and friendly!! He figured out the issue in minutes and coached me on maintaining my A/C clean to prevent any issues in the future.

We worked with Irvin at AirFix Mechanics when our client's AC system broke down on a Saturday. He was very responsive and was able to go to the house to assess the situation that same day. The system needed parts replaced and although the parts store was closed that day, Irvin was able to send me an estimate and purchase the parts on Monday. He went in and repaired the system. He was very communicative throughout and professional. I would recommend AirFix!

I couldn't get transparent pricing from them. They want $100 before they would give you approximate price. Hard to communicate with.

We had an issue with our condenser unit and already cleaned + replaced the capacitor. The fan on the condenser did not turn on and we found Irvin / AirFix Mechanical from Facebook. Irvin responded timely and came to inspect the system. The overall problem was quickly diagnosed as a manufacturing defect in the condenser fan.

A temporary fix of manually kicking off the condenser fan worked to get us through the day, and he offered to find a replacement fan. Luckily, the fan was covered under the manufacturer warranty and he offered the benefit to us while charging just for the labor.

After fixing the system and verifying all the parts, Irvin provided detailed maintenance steps and warning signs of potential failures. He answered any to all questions without prejudice or bias with detailed explanations.

Overall, Irvin with AirFix Mechanical provided timely repairs at a reasonable price with honest work. There was no pressure of payment or invoice until all work was complete / we were satisfied. Highly recommend!
