Matt from Current Power Technologies came out to do an annual maintenance service on our Generac. He is a total pro and immediately started troubleshooting an error code I didn't even know the controller had thrown (status light was still green). Great customer service attitude, polite, took the time to explain what he was doing, and answered all my questions. We will definitely call them back out next year.

I’ve called this company out before, and once again, their knowledge and customer service are top-notch. Over the weekend, I experienced an issue with my generator after a load test. I contacted their call center and explained the situation. The gentleman who answered took detailed notes and explained that their regular hours were Monday through Friday, 8–5, but he would reach out to a technician to see if they could assist.

Within ten minutes, Grant Winston called me, patiently walked me through the issue, and helped me restore power to my home. This is the kind of customer service I remember growing up—the kind that builds trust and keeps customers coming back.

After inviting 8 companies to give us a price on a 1000 gallon propane tank and Kohler 50kw whole house generator and installation, we gave the business to Grant at Current Power Technologies.
They weren’t the lowest price, but Grants product and installation knowledge beat out all others. In fact the sales folks from the other companies struggled with their product knowledge and two companies provided bids that were 2X higher than the four companies that all came in within $1,000. Funny how the two outrageous companies we’re hounding me to show them an invoice and they’d match the bid. What a sad way to conduct business. I told everyone be right on your price the first time.
My point is, read up on whole house generators and know what you need or, seriously, just call Grant. He was very classy and straightforward.
I felt some of these well known generator companies were con artists so do your work on the front end.
When it came time for installation everything came off as promised. There was a small hiccup, which can show what kind of company you’re dealing with!
I selected wisely.
The problem was addressed and the system was up and running in no time.
I honestly felt fantastic about choosing Current Power Technologies.
They exceeded expectations.
