Outstanding! From the initial contact with Evan, during the work by Raul and his crew, through the communication by Larry, the project manager, and the valuable information provided by their arborist, Daniel - everything was exemplary. We had a massive branch snap off a 150 to 200 year old live oak - it was hanging on precariously. I called Republic and Evan got the ball rolling immediately. Larry came out within the hour, assessed the situation and sent us an estimate in less than an hour and scheduled the branch removal for the next morning. Raul and his team arrived on time and immediately got to work. After removal Raul said the branch weighed between 2 and 3 tons. The communication with Larry through the whole process was excellent - he kept us apprised the whole time and was on-site much of the time. The clean up was outstanding - they used a chipper on the smaller branches and cut the larger portion into pieces and hauled off. They sent Daniel, Republic's arborist, to assess the tree's health and determine next steps to preserve the tree. I am so glad we had previously been referred to Republic Tree Service, because I can't imagine that any other tree service would have handled this situation as well. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Very pleased with their process. We scheduled a no-nonsense consultation and quote. The price was no question higher than others but we needed the trees cut correctly and quickly. The crew as here early and did a great job removing the fallen of the roof of my house. They were very professional and we would recommend Republic Tree Services. This is our second time using Republic Tree Services and we use them again for tree trimming or removal.

I recently contacted Republic Tree Service concerning a large live oak tree in our subdivision entrance to get an opinion on the tree's health and safety. I initially spoke with Scott over the phone and he was very helpful and set up an appointment for their arborist, Daniel, to come check out our tree. Daniel came out promptly and immediately started sharing his knowledgeable opinion on the tree and made recommendations to maintain the tree to include some trimming and removal of dead branches. The Republic crew came out within a few days and trimmed up our tree and did a great job. Once the job was done, Larry followed up with me to be sure we were satisfied with their work. I found everyone I spoke with to be professional and cordial and would recommend their company to anyone needing tree service.

We needed our trees trimmed and a dead tree removed from our yard. From the first contact with Daniel to the completion of the job it was done timely and well. The dead tree we needed removed was very close to our neighbor's fence. They were very conscientious during the removal process. The crew worked hard and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend them.

From first contact to job completion the team effort is excellent. The day of the work the crew was all in uniform and all safety gear ready. The estimator led the effort. That was refreshing since many times the estimator never returns to the jobsite. The clean up after was very good. In my walk around i did not see a single twig left. Republic Tree Service was awesome! The same day I put in for an estimate, they contacted me to set up an appointment to send someone out. I was able to get an estimate the same day of my appointment, and my service was scheduled for 2 weeks later. The crew showed up a whole hour early and did an awesome job trimming, pruning, and cleaning up our yard! Thank you!

Larry was great to work with, and Daniel was very knowledgeable about the issues with our trees and the types of trees we should go with in the future. Larry and his crew ensured the trees were handled well. The cleanup was awesome, and the job as a whole was reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend Republic for tree trimming and removal.

The guys were very professional in doing the job at my house. They took down a large pecan tree, and pruned the 2nd pecan tree. I am very happy that I no longer have limbs hanging over my roof and patio cover. I will use their services, when I am in need of tree trimming in the future. They were all very polite and caring for the customers needs.

They did a great job. A crew of three showed up and got the work done quickly and cleaned everything up as if they were never there. The estimate process was smooth and easy. Daniel came over within a few days of submitting the online request and we had a quote and agreed upon contract the same day. Had a question answered quickly as well once the job was completed. Getting the job scheduled was a minor inconvenience and I am not sure why, I had to call a few times to inquire, but when they did call a next day slot was available and they got straight to work. Overall great experience and I’d use Republic Tree Service again.

Republic Tree Service trimmed several trees on my property. Three were crêpe myrtles and they did an excellent job on all of them. They also removed 2 stumps with precision and filled in the holes. I am very happy with everything they did and would highly recommend them.

They were very professional and got me scheduled quickly to trim up 6 trees and dig out 8 rose bushes and were less than any other tree service quotes I had. A crew of 3 came out and all the work was done within 2 hours and hauled away. They were friendly and made sure that I was involved that they were doing as I wanted several times during the job. I would recommend to anyone!

We’ve worked with this business multiple times and have always been happy with the service received. They are able to quickly schedule a day and time to come out and provide an estimate. Customer service is superb—they give a courtesy call when they are heading to your location, which aligns with the scheduled time.

Discussions regarding the work needed are conducted with an arborist who is knowledgeable and answers questions without hesitation. The estimate is provided shortly after the meeting and includes pictures and a clear explanation of the work that will be required. Estimates can be accepted online, which makes the process very convenient

We’ve previously received an estimate for tree planting that we did not accept at the time (we plan to do that later this year), and they do not follow up at all—either you accept the estimate or you don’t. Once an estimate is accepted, they call to schedule the job. Most recently, we were told the lead time was three weeks, but they were able to complete the work the next business day since they were already going to be in the area and it made logistical sense.

After the job is completed, they call to arrange payment. Payment options include cash, check, or card; there is a percentage fee for card payments, which is clearly stated on the invoice. Their pricing has always been extremely reasonable, and we’ve never encountered unexpected charges.

The quality of the work is impeccable, and the cleanup is outstanding. They will absolutely be our go-to company for tree services. From the initial call to schedule an estimate through final payment, this business has consistently been professional.

DO NOT USE THEM. They will bill you and then take additional money when they did not have the right to do so, and they will not do the job correctly. The photos that are attached show that we paid by the invoice date and they still charged us more money the photos of the trees will show you that they were supposed to cut anything that was 1 inch and small smaller and they didn't do that off the trees and we had diseased trees. We had to go to a different company to complete the job that they failed to do. If I if I could put zero stars, I would put zero stars we called Republic ask them to come out and completed a job for us after their arborist came out and recommended the job that needed to be completed. We scheduled they showed up approximately 20 to 25 minutes after they showed up they left without completing the job we had to take video and send it to them stating that the job had not been completed. After the reviewed the video they agreed. We scheduled them to come out a second time. They came out approximately 15 minutes after arriving they left again. Again, not completing the job they were invoicing us for. they never completed the job. They didn't make right what they didn't do. They charged us more than what the invoice was for. They refused to change the date of the invoice so they could say that we had to pay a late charge which we should not have had to pay a late charge because as you can see this invoice was due today, December 22 and it was paid on December 22 and should've only been 1039 and as you can see from the receipt that we received afterwards because they charged us more then what they invoiced. I will never use them again and I hope you won't either. Save your money and go with a better tree service.

I used JJ Tree Service again and as usual did a wonderful job on my Oak trees. My trees looked healthy without all the deadwood and ball moss and John J the arborist exactly knows what to do and I highly reccomend JJ Tree Svc to everyone who loves there Oak trees like we do !

JJ TREE SVC and crew did an excellent job trimming my oaks just like how I imagined my trees would be. Cleanup was amazing. Will call again and refer to friends. Affordable and very professional !

6 years ago we had a great experience with John. We got an estimate and arranged for another trimming of trees today. Maribelle was not very good. She had the crew lollipop a tree against our expressed wishes. It was done before we knew what happened! When John showed up later the damage was done and all he could do was shake his head. And this tree is in our front yard for the whole world to see! What was once a lovely Monterrey Oak is now an eyesore. In addition John had to tell the crew to go back and redo some areas they had missed in other trees/It will take years for this tree to recover. Unfortunately for him she has soured us on the business.

My oaks had never been trimmed and demossed. They needed ALOT of cleanup. The ball moss was very heavy. JJ 's Tree Service arrived on time and ready to work. My oaks have never looked so good.
