Was a half yard short on mulch so went by to pick up another load at 4:30 on Sunday to find the gate closed and locked when there was still another 30 minutes to their posted close time.

PURCHASED 7.5 YARDS OF SUPERIOR SOIL FOR RAISED GARDEN BEDS. HAVE PURCHASE AT GARDENVILLE MANY TIMES AND NEVER HAD PROBLEMS. THIS TIME THE SOIL WILL NOT DRAIN WELL, HAS A CRUSTY TOP AND DOES NOT PROMOTE HEALTHY PLANTS. PLANTS ARE STUNTED, TURN YELLOW. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN SOIL PRODUCT FOR WHAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE A TOP OF THE LINE SOIL. I WAS TOLD WHEN I VISITED GARDENVILLE, THIS WAS THE BEST SOIL THEY HAD. I HAVE HAD TO ADD MANY NUTRIENTS AND SOIL CONDITIONERS TO MAKE THE PLANTS HEALTHY AGAIN. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM GARDENVILLE AGAIN. THE QUALITY HAS DEFFINATELY DROPPED SINCE MR. BECK SOLD THE BUSINESS TO THE NEW OWNERS. DON'T THINK THEY HAVE A CLUE ON "ORGANIC" GARDENING OR SOILS. NOT A VERY FRIENDLY STAFF EITHER. EXTREMEY DISAPPOINTED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE.

If you are ever at this wonderful place do watch out for Lidia Montemayor . She will RIP you off and you wont know it until it's too late. She is a con artest

No longer owned by the Beck family but they do carry many of the Garden-Ville products . Bulk sales mainly but you can bag your own.

Horrible service they don't treat the customers very good anymore they speak a great place to go to buy all your soil and fertilizer needs but just recently over the past couple years they have gone down the hole and the billboard sign says there's three San Antonio locations I have not seen three San Antonio locations only seen two

Excellent facility to purchase your organic products. Driveway is rocky. Purchased Living Mulch yesterday which is a combination of mulch and compost.

It was my first time there and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'm working on 3 raised beds, so I'll definitely be back!
