They've got wide variety of plants and flowers, soils and all kind ardening supplies.
We like it here. It's kind of a one stop shop for our spring time gardening needs. -
Alysia is an absolute joy to talk about all things plants! We described to her a space in the yard we were looking to fill, and she made some great recommendations. We picked out a beautiful tree and we're excited to get it planted. We'll be back and will be looking for Alysia among to leaves.

Beware of extremely rude staff!!
My family & I have loved coming here over the years and bought countless plants and trees from here. However, today we interacted with a horrible woman while cashing out. Completely rude to us while being nice to the customers ahead of us. My mom had the guts to call her out, & the woman told her to “just stop talking,” amongst other horrible things. Sad to say we’ll have to find a new nursery to frequent. Be weary of giving them your business. -
Visited today, and while the plants aren't yet at their best because we're in winter, it was still a lovely experience! Spoke to a gentleman up front who took plenty of time to discuss with me a moss terrarium I am working on. He was so friendly, knowledgable and polite! I took his advice and got a peperomia for my terrarium and it's beautiful! Lots of lovely merchandise in the store and an amazing selection of herbs and succulents. The best part is probably the shop cat, though! We got to pet him while I spoke with the employee who helped. 10/10 will be returning! 🌱🌼😊🐈

Very good mid summer selections.
Update: Lots of late fall deals.. many fruit trees at 50 percen5 right now.. 11-9-24. New Philodendrons just now being unpackex -
Just avoid this place. The plants are sick and infested with worms and aphids. I recently purchased over $100 worth of plants and all but 5 are now dead and I’m fighting an aphid infestation on my house plants now which was brought in on their Anise plant (I’ve never had aphids in my life). The sage had inch worms that were eating holes in the leaves, and the Mexican heather was so rootbound that it died from the base is within 72 hours. I called to see if they could help and I was met with a 45 minute hold and a rude person who said “bring in your receipt and the plants in the original pots. That’s your option.” There are so many lovely nurseries in the area, just go literally anywhere else. I’ve posted pictures of my healthy plants next to the trash they sold me along. worm eaten sage leaves, aphid covered anise leaf which days later turned into a brown mess, and rootbound Mexican heather.

Beautiful grounds and such a lovely selection, grab your coffee and take a nice walk around. The third Saturday Farmers market is also phenomenal!

I had no idea this jewel was sitting right there. So many plants, seeds, soils, pots, and everything you could possibly imagine. Plus! Super friendly service! Almost forgot to mention.. 12 different kinds of sweet pea seeds including many heirloom varieties...can't wait! 🙂

Seriously the best nursery!!! Friendly staff. Healthy, beautiful plants. Great prices! So many lovely options of wonderful plants to take home! Easy, meandering layout, excellent health protocols and an outside check out for purchases! I have been back several times and highly recommend Rainbow Gardens!

I did experience an issue the other day, but it was quickly and professionally rectified. I absolutely love Rainbow Gardens and so does my little one. We got a super neat Kumquat to add to our fruit tree collection! Some of the best tree selections in SA!

Plant paradise. Plain and simple. Staff was very friendly and helpful, selections were endless, and pricing was very fair. Don’t be fooled by the front of the store… this place is MASSIVE once you go in. Cannot wait to go back!

Got a few ideas from my arborist for trees in my backyard. Went to Rainbow Gardens on 9/21/25 to see their stock and get pricing. While there, I asked "Chris" for some input on the specimens I was looking at, and he suggested something i hadn't seen before but fit my requirements better...size, shape, drought and cold tolerance. Blue Point Cypress. It was great conversation, Chris was well-informed and very helpful. In that conversation, I decided on the Blue Points! Thanks, Chris!

Michelle knew exactly what I was looking for and kindly showed me some other options. She has great knowledge as well as a thoughtful personality. Thank you so much for all your help Michelle.

This garden center on Thousand Oaks is very close to my house. I go there year round. Here are some of the items I have found there: water features and pumps, pots, tools, soil conditioners, potting mixes, seeds and lots of native plants. The stag is always available and very helpful.

This place was AWESOME. The staff was so friendly. I have my one year old and they offered so much to make sure he was cool and comfortable. Prices are so amazing that I could afford more than I went in to buy. Highly recommend.

Poor and rude, condescending customer service. Plant variety was great though. Plants are on the smaller side a lot of 1 gallon. A bit hard to find stuff, it's really large inside, kid friendly. The only bad thing is lack of customer service.

5 acres of plants. Very courteous and helpful staff. Recommend to shop the several excellent nurseries in the area, as their inventory and prices are varied.

Fantastic location with an overwhelming amount of inventory. Plants, plants, plants with terrific pricing and service. I was fortunate enough to meet Marshall, one of the owners and his warm greeting and kindness shows he's in the right business. I couldnt recommend Thousand Oaks more and look forward to returning.

Awesome nursery with pretty much anything you could be looking for. There are a bunch of sections including trees, flowers, succulents, herbs, seeds, and pottery. There are a ton of different fertilizers and soils for sale. Prices are competitive. The best time to shop is Thursday or Friday before the weekend crowd snags most of the new inventory.

First time visiting with a friend. Lovely garden center with all you would expect to find but they did have a few unusual things that surprised me… a mushroom growing kit and quite a large assortment of beautiful pots.

We just moved here from Austin and love this huge garden center. They have everything! You can spend an hour looking. Say hello to the store guard cat!
