Had a lovely experience at MVN with Megan. She was very patient with us and our kids. Lots of plants, shrubs and trees in inventory. Highly recommend them because of their well priced landscaping packages and expertise.

When you go to Moon Valley Nursery, you need to ask for Tia. She is so knowledgeable , helpful and kind. Her focus is on the customer and helping you achieve the best landscape design that compliments your home. Tia is very patient and listens to your ideas about plant stories. She is thorough is her planting designs. She came out to my home to see the flower beds in person. Tia marked where each item would be planted which provided a great visual for me. She made the process easy. Tia is awesome to work with!

Alamo Ranch Moon Nursery is the best Nursery I’ve ever done business with! Best selection, pricing, customer service, follow-Up, warranty, and FREE PLANTING!!! I was blown away by the friendly, knowledgeable support of Megan and Barron. I bought over 10 large evergreen bushes as a privacy screen for our 6 acre property line to block out some ugly construction debris on an adjacent property. Megan and Barron helped me pick the very best varieties for our climate, soil, elevation, terrain, growth rate and survivability. They delivered within a week and the planting crew was led by a friendly and knowledgeable expert, Antoine. They were courteous, responsive and professional and planted to my exact specifications. I got a great deal on the entire purchase and have never had a better experience at a nursery in my 70 plus years enjoying trees, bushes and plants. I recommend Alamo Ranch Moon Nursery in the strongest possible terms!

I had such a wonderful experience thanks to James Sirbek. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming and genuinely happy to help. James was patient, kind, and helped me find the shrubs I wanted and was very helpful in how to plant them and care for them. It's rare to find such exceptional, friendly customer service these days. James made my trip to the nursery a truly enjoyable one. Five stars!

They have beautiful, healthy trees and a wide selection. The staff are helpful and friendly. Eric helped us and was very knowledgeable about their products. He helped us pick trees that should work well in our yard.

Eric and James were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We needed some sage and some lantanas for our lawn and we came to the right place. We will definitely come back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Moon Valley Nursery! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, they took the time to answer our questions and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. All of the trees were in excellent condition and beautifully cared for, and the wide selection made it easy to choose the perfect ones for our home.

We were also pleasantly surprised to learn about their special program they were having for one day donating Christmas trees to first responders and military veterans. We received one through this program, and it was absolutely beautiful, honestly even nicer than the Noble Fir we usually pick out every year from the Christmas tree farm down the street. This gesture meant a lot to our family.

Just got new trees from the Moon Valley Nusery @ 1604 and Guillbeau!! Everyone was super great and helpful, but Tia was our girl! She helped us pick out our trees and design a garden bed! She was super knowledgeable and patient with all my indecisiveness. If we ever need more trees we will definitely go with Moon Valley. Thanks for your help making this investment in our home.

Friendly staff. All types of trees for all your needs. They mainly focus on trees, shrubs , grasses, and flowers that thrive in SA. And also have very nice pots.

Thank you to James Sirbek and his manager for helping us find the right trees to plant in our backyard. Trees that have matured are not cheap, but they helped us work within our budget so that we could get what we wanted within what we felt we could afford. Wow! Great place (Alamo Ranch location) to get your Christmas tree this season and plan your upcoming landscaping projects with beautiful trees/ plants. Barron was knowledgeable and super helpful. Staff was quick and awesome in loading our tree.

Starting with Megan McCloskey my salesperson, my overall experience was seamless & professional. She was not pushy but extremely knowledgeable and helpful with making my decision on 10 trees for my property. They gave me day prior to delivery they informed and reminded me. The day of delivery I was notified about an hour before arrrival. The entire planting crew was pleasant and professional. The lead, Antoine, explained everything they were doing and made sure it was done according to my specifications. We actually decided we wanted 3 more trees and I went back to the Alamo Ranch location and worked with Barron Eckhardt who was equally professional and helpful and within 30 minutes I was out the door with exactly what I wanted. Overall my experience could not have been better. I have worked with many nurseries in the San Antonio area and Moon Nurseries so far have been the best.

Beautiful trees and plants upon first impression. James Sirbek was super helpful and professional with assisting my husband and I with picking out our front entry way plants. Will be definitely coming back in the future for all our plant needs and plan to purchase a new tree for our backyard!

I needed a couple of taller pots for plants with large roots that have outgrown their previous pots. Moon Valley had the perfect pots in stock. The customer service was friendly and professional. They have an impressive selection of mature trees and lots of large pots. Great nursery.

We purchased a beautiful red oak tree from William at Moon Valley Nurseries at Alamo Ranch. Kevin Morales and his crew came by today to plant it. They were amazing! They are all
Knowledgeable and skilled. They were on schedule as they arrived to plant it. They allowed me to observe and I learned so much from them. They did an excellent job and the tree added so much to our landscape. I highly recommend them If you are in need of professional landscaping.

We had an excellent experience at Moon Valley Nurseries. Katelyn helped us pick out our new Iceberg roses, and she was absolutely fantastic. Super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure we chose the right plants for our space. You can tell she really knows her stuff.

The service overall was impeccable from start to finish. Eric, the manager, was also great to speak with. Friendly, professional, and very approachable. It’s refreshing to deal with a team that actually enjoys what they do and takes pride in it.

If you need a place that prioritizes shrubs and trees, this is the spot. If you need landscaping experts, they also have them there too. They have protection plans and even some discounts when you buy a certain amount. Pots and statues are also available for purchase as well.

We went in and were treated wonderfully. James Sirbek took us around the property until we found our tree. He explained the process throughly.

Came in today for Christmas trees and had such a great experience! The trees were all gorgeous and high-quality. James greeted us immediately and helped us from start to finish—super friendly, helpful, and made the whole visit a breeze. We’ll definitely be back!

One of my favorite things now is going to the new Moon Valley Nursery! Soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with friendly smiles and a hello. I love walking through the nursery where you see abundance of big beautiful trees and bushes all neatly organized. James Sirbeck a lead designer is always full of energy and a big smile ready to help you in any way. I needed an evergreen tree that was tall and was unsure the one he hand picked out was tall enough. James hopped right up onto the root ball to show me how tall it would be planted. I asked James for some help on my front walkway and he promptly made arrangements to come by the house and made some beautiful suggestions giving the area more color variations and texture to a shady spot. Several days later I noticed a bougainvillea at the other Moon Valley nursery and asked if he could add this to my scheduled planting. James himself went over to the nursery picked out a beautiful bougainvillea was sure to send me a photo of it and had it ready for my planting day. He’s amazing to work with always ready to help. Planting day went smoothly. Sean Washburn planting manager and crew of 5 guys jumped right into action. James had flagged everything before they arrived, and everything was placed perfectly. It was a busy day for me a construction crew had just left Sean and his crew worked around the construction area like it was nothing. Sean saw me picking up pieces of lumber to move out of the walk way and he jumped in to help me out. Before I knew it he had picked up the rest. The crew was so efficient and left the lawn and garden spotless. This nursery out shines all the others here in San Antonio, Texas.
