From the consultation to the tree selection, payment planning, location planning (James Sirbek /Eric Meyers and Barron Eckhardt), to the digging (Antoine Foles-team lead) and planting (Sean Washburn-team lead), the teams at Moon Nurseries were terrific! They were patient, they listened, were respectful and their attention to detail was top notch. At first, I admit that I had a bit of sticker shock, but when I watched what went into the whole process, especially the digging (imagine jackhammering for four hours) and planting process (imagine moving 2000 lbs around), the pricing seemed very fair. Hire Moon’s for your next tree/landscaping project!

We picked up a fresh Christmas tree as part of the giveaway for first responders, military, healthcare workers, and educators. The tree is beautiful! And one of the freshest we have had in a long time. Thank you Moon Valley Nurseries for the gift this holiday season.

I had a wonderful experience working with James at the nursery. He’s extremely knowledgeable about plants and clearly passionate about what he does. James took the time to listen to what I was looking for and helped me choose the perfect shrubs for my yard. He gave great advice on care and maintenance, and everything he recommended has been thriving. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. Eric and his staff at the 1604 and guilbeau MV location were truly nice, informative, and made my journey for finding the trees I needed in a short amount of time was part of God's plan! I wanted one tree for my son and I to plant as his own and a second tree to plant for my Aunt's memorial service.

Eric and his staff showed my mom and I around their beautiful nursery and explained a lot of the questions I had about the trees I wanted and their purpose for planting them. I just felt that the exchange in conversations were easy and geniune.
Eric suggested that I take my 4year old son to pick out his own tree the day they would have more trees delivered to their location and to me that thoughtful idea made it more meaningful and special for us!

Wow! New NURSERY in Alamo Ranch area. What a beautiful nursery. They have a great variety of mature plants and trees. Probably one of the best tree selections I have seen here in San Antonio. They have trees that will add instant impact and immediate change to any landscape project. I saw several trees that were 30ft tall or more. Beautiful palms, and shrubs. All plants are grown or have been acclimated for the South Texas weather before they are brought to the nurseries. The prices for the trees include delivery and installation. I ended up taking the most beautiful red lantana plant home. It looks gorgeous and she is huge. I love it! The customer service was amazing and Katlyin and Eric were super helpful and informative. Check out my pictures and look at how pretty all the plants are. So don't take my word for it and go check it out for yourself! If you're a plant lover like me, you'll love this place.

Frank and his crew came out Thursday and dug the hole for our Crepe Myrtle Tuscorora which is scheduled for delivery on Friday. The crew was amazing and had the hole dug and prepped in about 30mins.
Today Friday Tony Flores and his crew delivered our tree, a Crepe Myrtle Toscarora we had picked out for our yard. The crew arrived and immediately got to work putting our tee in. Entire process was completed in about an hour we are very happy with the entire process. Everything from picking out the tree, having hole dug and tree planted was very quick, professional and friendly. Moon alley and your crews deserve 10 stars for all you have done.

These guys did a great job while being quick, efficient, and professional. I was given a quote and had 4 stumps and one tree removed all in the same week. The only thing I'm disappointed about is not calling them sooner. I would definitely recommend this company.

Tom (who I found on Craigslist) removed an enormous 20-year old (I know when I planted this thing!) Bradford Pear which had grown right up against my house, over my 2nd story roof, across my driveway - this thing was a hydra! Bradford pears have earned a horrible reputation for suddenly breaking limbs at the trunk and dropping 200 pound branches on houses and cars. I was really nervous that taking it out would be a disaster. Tom and his crew arrived exactly on time and started work without any direction. That monstrous tree was gone within 3 hours and he took the stump down more than 7 inches below the surface. He then removed a pathetic 20 foot tall crepe myrtle planted at the same time but deprived of sunlight by the pear and did not charge me for removal of that tree or its stump. Tom even chipped through the pear's enormous rootball and created two perfect sized holes for me to immediately plant a 15 and a 25 gallon Natchez crepe myrtle in the place where the pear was (which greatly overcame the shock of seeing the space created by the missing tree). The pear's wood was saved and the rest chipped to really fine mulch (Yea for green!). Tom and his crew then completely blew and raked my yard, driveway and sidewalks. Final price tag for everything: $800. My neighbors have taken every card I have and I cannot recommend this business and Tom enough - simply the BEST!

These guys did an excellent job removed 2 trees for me and did it very efficiently. I was impressed by the speedy service (i.e. same day estimate and service complete in one week), all of my neighbors were impressed by how quickly they took down a 25-30 foot tree right next to my home. I want to thank Mr. Bussel and his crew for making my house into a home we came enjoy even more without a dead tree in the yard. Thanks guys.

Tom and his crew have trimmed my trees twice now. Both times they arrived on time, trimmed according to my directions, avoided damaging landscape, sealed the cuts, completed a thorough cleanup and charged the original quote amount without issues or complaints. According to his card, Tom is a licensed arborist and is insured, although I did not ask to see documentation.
