We started using Just Right Lawns in September 2025 and things were fine at first. But recently, the service has taken a nosedive. It’s clear something changed—whether it’s management, staffing, or just a drop in standards. They’ve completely stopped weed-eating without explanation, and this week, one of their crew claimed our back gate was locked and simply walked off. Not only was the gate not locked, but even if it had been, we have two people working from home and it's clearly noted on the account to knock. That kind of laziness and disregard is unacceptable. We expected basic professionalism, and they couldn’t even meet that.

With this said about their crew local to NW SATX, the only reason this isn’t a one-star review is Judy from customer support—she’s responsive, helpful, and the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience.

Our neighbor has been hiring them for the last year. They never complete the front yard after repeatedly being told where the property line is. Our car has been hit with debri on multiple occasions. We were told Thursdays they would be coming so we could move our car. Last Sunday we took our car through the wash and Monday morning my husband was treating the trim with special chemicals when they showed up and waited for him to finish then threw more debri all over the car and blew leaves to one side of the yard. Pictures are of after they left and after we redid the spots they missed. We are constantly having to do our neighbors front yard the day after or same day they visit. From our experience they are not capable of producing quality lawn service. Save your money.

Great work in the yard. Just not happy with breaking the water value and us without water for 24 hours. Do Prescott the effort in getting it fixed though.

Had a great experience this morning from Vanessa. I called initially to get some information and ask a few questions but ended up signing on for their services after having all my questions and concerns were dealt with in such a professional, patient and understanding way. Just Right Lawns' technicians always do an ourstanding job, above and beyond what you would normally expect from a lawn service. Morales is one of the best lawn maintenance techs to take care of our yard; there is always attention and care taken in regards to our outdoor pets and possessions.

This company started out amazing but everything went south earlier this year in my opinion. In July I tried the landscaping service and prepaid for time (never again). My cameras show that the people were only here for an hour but charged for an hour and a half. When I called, the management seemed like they didn’t care about making things right or keeping a customer. I cancelled my services that day ( I was spending money with them on mowing, and the weed service). I sent the company my videos, and screen shots from the video with time stamps, and heard nothing back. I ended up just disputing the charge with my credit card company. I posted on next door and had multiple offers from other companies within hours. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Mr. Luna does a great job when mowing and weeding my lawn. I believe my lawn looks the best on my street. He always mows it just the right height, and he does a great job weed eating all my lawn including the outskirts. I would gladly recommend Just Right Lawns to anyone looking for a yard service

I've had Just Right taking care of my yard for several months now. They always come on time and are fast and thorough with their work. It's one less thing I have to worry about every week, and for the price is an excellent service. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs that bit of hassle off their mind!

Highly discourage anyone from using this company for any type of service. I was told over the phone that my service included mowing, edging, weed eating, and they would blow away any lawn scraps. As you can see from the photos, very little mowing was done, no edging was done, and the weed eating job is spotty. They were in and out in 15 minutes. When I called the company back to have them fix their mistakes, I was told they would come out later that day, that did not happen. I called back the next day and was told, after seeing my photos, an area manager would come out the following week to review what had been done and to correct the work, that did not happen. I was told after calling the company back to make sure that they were in fact, coming back out, that no area manager would be coming. Do not waste your time with these liars, customer satisfaction is not their guarantee or priority. I decided to use this Company after the reviews I read and have been extremely disappointed. Huge waste of time and money.

Unfortunately haven’t had much support and consistency with Just Right Lawns as I would have hoped for now being a customer for about a year now. Just really hoping for a decent quality job each time, and just not getting that with our crews. For the price I would have hoped for better.

The guys that do my yard are great! They’re quick and they do a good job getting the edging. The customer service is some of the best I’ve had with a lawn service and I appreciate their patience.

The services provided were anything but “expert”. I called and asked for help and services for our yard. I am a disabled veteran who needed the lawn taken care of since we newly moved in and did not have any equipment. After discussing with their admin, they said it would be very easy to help us and they would send someone within the week. The service was left incomplete and half of the services they offered were not completed at all.

After my complaint, their admin went over the photos and said “this was not completed, we are going to send someone out to fix this”. I needed to call three more times over three days to finally get confirmation that they would come back out. When they did, they did a quick mow and left without even blowing off the deck, leaving the yard with piles of grass and still failing to even touch our issue areas. When confronted once again, they said “there’s a lot of bees*. They offered me a 30% refund instead of fixing it.

When I was told that the manager would reach out, I had someone who refused to tell me who they were contact me, after asked twice of their name or position, and then I was told I can pay more if I want it done. If I could recommend 0 stars I would.

Just right lawns had been servicing my lawn for 5 years now and are always reliable. I never have to worry about my lawn being mowed and edged. Mr Garcia was very quick while servicing my yard this week. However, he was in such a hurry while using the leaf blower on my front porch that a potted plant was knocked over and Christmas lights were pushed into the walkway. Not a big deal, but it would have been more professional to take a minute and undo the damage that occurred.

Great company to work with. And great company to obtain you Lasn and landscaping needs.

Pricing is great. Desk people that sold us the service are great, unfortunately the installers are sloppy and always rescheduling multiple times, like 3-4 times. I don’t understand why this happens.
