Before going to Evergreen Nursery, I read the reviews. They could not be more WRONG. This nursery is absolutely gorgeous and very well kept! They have a plethora of fruit trees, I couldn't resist buying a dwarf orange tree while I was there. None of the staff really bothers you, you have free range to go wherever you like- but when you do need something they are there ready to help! The prices and quality of their plants are amazing. I spent WAY less on the plants I got than I would have spent at a department store. I highly recommend this nursery!

Tiny garden store offering houseplants. You will find all of your basic gardening needs here. Staff is friendly. They had a nice selection of cacti but nothing that you would not see at a big box store. Location is a bit hidden and parking is limited. Luckily the nursery is pretty small so you should be in and out pretty quickly. Did not see any signs suggesting that they might do curbside.

Loved their green house! Their collection of pixie plants is adorable and i was able to find a baby monstera deliciosa for only 13.... such a great price! Other than plants they had some very cute apparel and jewelry as well as plant accessories. A great place to come for gifts. Not a huge selection of plants but the owner did inform me they get new plants about every 6 weeks. Will absolutely be returning.

Love them. My go to for all my plant shopping. Friendly and affordable. Always a wonderful selection of indoor, outdoor and landscaping plants. I often come here to pick up interesting house plants. Great place to pick up some basic kitchen herbs. Also a decent selection of starter plants for your raised food garden.

Augustine was so helpful and nice and help me pick the perfect birthday gift for a friend! He is very knowledgeable, patient, and even help me load the pot and plant into my vehicle.

I love this nursery. Been going there for years. The two brothers are great. Very knowledgeable about every plant I’ve ever purchased. The selection of plants and fertilizer is fantastic and the care these guys have for the plants in that nursery is like no other in the city. They do an amazing job and customer service is top not. Exceptional!!!

I’ve been going here since I moved to San Antonio in 2020. It is fine. The selection is decent. Maybe a little over priced but it’s convenient for me so I don’t think it’s super bad. When I googled compost worms it brought this place up, but the gentleman that works there said they don’t actually have compost worms. Not a deal breaker, and not their fault, and also don’t believe Google.

The sweetest kid, Augustine, helped me out today by answering a ton of questions. He was both professional, funny, and personable despite working hard in the heat!

I got an Easter barrel cactus which are 20%, but I didn't realize until I got home that it was rung up for the full price, so keep an eye out for that if you buy sale items!

It's a smaller nursery, but the staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. The plants consistently appear well-kept. I usually don't venture inside the building because there's not much that interests me there; it's more like a gift shop. I appreciate how affordable their prices are. Recently, I picked up cauliflower and cabbage from there, and everything I get there feels like a great deal!

I have lived in San Antonio for a while now and cannot believe I had never been to this lovely nursery off of Hildebrand! The staff was very helpful in answering a question about a specific plant I am looking for. While they did not have the plant, I gladly bought a few others and a few gifts. The indoor shop has a nice selection of items to choose from plants and pots, to various merchandise and clothing. The indoor shop is adjacent to a greenhouse stocked with tropical houseplants, plus smaller items like bonsai starters. Outside they carry a descent selection of classic and decorative terracotta. However, some of the pot prices are kind of ridiculous. Their plant prices are reasonable and the plants looked healthy. Great local nursery that I will definitely continue to support!

Local business Evergreen Garden Center has been in San Antonio since 1997! Founded by partners Gus and Edward, they've turned their green thumb into a beautiful family business, even teaching their adorable nephew how to make plants happy! In addition to creating some of the best mini-succulent arrangements you could possibly gift a loved one, they'll have Christmas trees and wreaths in stock soon. Check them out in the 78201!

Support local - this neighborhood gem has been around for decades. The plants are healthy and good varieties for our climate. Whether I'm xeriscaping or getting veggies, it's my to go for the garden. Staff are quite helpful and the greenhouse cats are adorable. Practically everything in our greenhouse is from them.

They had a good selection of indoor plants and accessories! It's a very laid-back, relaxed energy here with friendly staff.

Impressive on the organized layout... Their statues and pottery and quite beautiful as well. Friendly staff and when you walk into the indoor plants section is beautiful with not just plants dolls! Great merchandise Will be return Very soon!!
