Augusta Lawn Care of Alamo Ranch did a great job. They left a flyer with a solid biweekly rate, and since my HOA had been on me, I gave them a shot. Super easy setup, just scanned a QR code, entered in my info, and someone came out in a couple days.

My yard was pretty overgrown, but they cleaned it up fast and even removed some weeds by the root. They missed two thick ones up front, but that’s totally understandable. Only reason for 4 stars is they accidentally damaged a small plastic utility cap in the yard. It likely wasn’t visible with the tall grass, so no hard feelings. Overall, great service and I'm happy to do business with them.

Did an amazing job. Took my overgrown lawn into a literal work of art. Great customer service and friendly crew. One of the crew that treated me really well was Mr. Danny. He was very kind and worked with my set budget. I will definitely be using them again

I would not recommend this company for lawn services.

Initially, the service was pretty good. They were punctual and our lawn usually looked ok. We had some concerns - like the lack of care around our lawn furniture and mulched beds - but that wasn't a dealbreaker. The shift came a few months ago. The price increased, and they started rescheduling and showing up in the evening. The cuts were super quick. You could tell they were rushed, and the lawn stopped looking as good. They would not even attempt to cut around/ under the lawn furniture. Anywhere they couldn't get with minimal effort on the riding mower would look terrible.

What finally broke the camel's back was them showing up for a service unannounced, then only cutting the front yard. I would always unlock the gate for them when we recieved a service notice. I also provided them with our gate code for if I forgot or if they had to come back a different day. They used it a couple times, then just stopped cutting the back if we left the lock on. I blamed myself when that happened, but it was frustrating. This last time, I didn't recieve a notice of service and they only cut the front. When I reached out, they sent a quite passive-agressive message blaming us for the missed service. I am very open to the possibility the service notification got lost somewhere in cyberspace. That's fine. The response was unnecessary and cemented my growing negative perception of their professionalism. It's a shame - we really liked the service initially.

There are other services out there. It's not worth wrangling with this company unless they address some of the recent quality and customer service issues.

Daniel did an outstanding job mowing my grass and truly went above and beyond. He was professional, punctual, and paid attention to the little details that most people overlook. The yard looks better than it has in a long time, and he even took extra time to clean things up without being asked. Highly recommend Daniel if you’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work!

David does a great job at a reasonable price. Mows, Trims, and Blows off the leaves and takes it all away. . Maria is always available to translate.

The house I recently purchased is at the bottom of a hill. Although safeguards against erosion etc are in place, I wanted to make sure that everything was foolproof. I reached out to Jonathan to see what his thoughts were regarding landscaping. Rather than suggesting something off hand he asked for my price range and worked with me to come up with an option that was best for my situation. We ended up with French drains. Since it was a new place, there were some unexpected issues such as a Google Fi cable that we were unaware of. Jonathan navigated these issues expertly and explained everything in a detailed, professional manner. I'm not a French drain expert, but the work looks to be well done, and the knowledge, competence, and very obvious experience Jonathan has give me confidence that I've done all that needs to be done to protect my property.

UPDATE: There have been a few additional fixes that have been necessary and Jonathan has swiftly and appropriately addressed them. I've learned that in addition to having a good provider, you also want an honest and earnest provider if you have any follow ups, and you'll find that in Jonathan.

We had Jonathan and his team come and install a retaining wall in our yard and install sod. He was very communicative about timing throughout the project. The work was performed with high quality and they took their time to ensure that quality. We also installed a French drain.

After the project was completed we requested an adjustment around a week later. Within an hour of us reaching out him and his team arrived at our house and made the adjustment. Their responsiveness and communication throughout were top notch and I’d highly recommend Grounded Landscaping for any outdoor work to be done.

Jonathan and his employees were wonderful. From the meeting to come up with a plan to the finished product completely satisfied. Communication was great. Very pleased with the end product. Would recommend the company to anyone. Thanks Jonathan!!

I couldn’t be happier with the level or quality and professionalism that Johnathan and his team delivered on my project. The drainage project was difficult and really overwhelming and they made the problem disappear as well as replacing all my decimated landscaping with something gorgeous. Best of all, they did it all within my budget and in my timeframe. I could ask for anything more!!

Jonathan and his team went above and beyond what I expected my backyard to look like. His implementation of my plan brought peace to my former discombobulated backyard. He brought life and comfort for me and my close ones to enjoy once again. He listened to my likes and dislikes and really cared about what I wanted. The project did not take long and it was a complete makeover. Like many projects there were hiccups, but Jonathan was very patient and quick to make adjustments. He and his team are VERY trustworthy and I will hire him again!

Jonathan and his team were able to handle our large project and our many requests. Even though there were a lot of changes on our end, Jonathan always updated us. As many other reviews have stated, Jonathan always stayed in constant communication in a professional manner throughout the entire project.

We had a small deck installed and a paver patio which we absolutely love. We look forward to working with him and his team for our future projects.

Grounded landscaping did an exceptional job grading our property and installing gutters. They were recommended by our foundation company and we couldn’t be happier

We used Grounded Landscaping to install a drain system for the back and sides of our house and we are more than happy with the work completed. Jonathan was able to help educate us on the different types of drains and we could tell he was very knowledgeable. The only downside for the project is that we had a later start date than what was told during our estimate, which make sense during the springtime.

My xeriscape yard had grown through it's weed barrier and had some drainage issues with water pooling around house foundation. Jonathan was attentive, flexible and creative when coming up with a solution that would work for me. His crews are courteous, quick and efficient.
