Jonathan was quick to help resolve these, demonstrating strong follow-through.The crew came back a few times to ensure everything was done correctly, and their attention to detail made all the difference in the end.

The overall value of the yard grading, sod laying, and gutters project is excellent. I was worried because it was the lowest estimate but the job turned out very nicely. Johnathan was very good at keeping contact and addressing questions and asked for feedback at the end of the project which shows that he seeks to improve. This was our first landscaping project so we weren’t sure exactly what we wanted, so from that perspective, the following could have used improvement. The initial consult went well and we signed for the project and paid the deposit. After that, J said he would work on the layout. The layout was hand drawn which was difficult to picture. My husband and I thought we were going to get individual pavers poured with stone pebbles or turf in between but ended up with a side walk essentially which worked, but trapped a sprinkler access underneath and kept us from putting a trellis in between pavers to hide trash cans. Anyways, not sure if we communicated this exactly although both of us remember saying it. It still looks good and once concrete was poured not worth saying anything. So I guess my main suggestion for improvement would be to take accurate notes during interviews and use computer software to show the customer exactly what they are getting. These are all minor things in the grand scheme of things but if you are not familiar with landscaping lingo be very specific and maybe present pictures of what you’d like. J will work with you. Also, discuss after care upfront as sod warranty only given if you use their company to take care of sod. The sod looks fantastic so I’m not worried about the warranty (the grading and gutters are warrantied for 5 years) but I found another company that was willing to fertilize sod for about 1/4 of the price quoted by J. So discuss aftercare prices with all companies that you get quotes from. These are the pics of a job well done. I think the most important thing is that J and team really try to make you happy and fix anything that you ask to be fixed. Overall job well done.

We hired Grounded Landscaping for an exhaustive renovation of the entire backyard and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our focus was centered on correcting the water and drainage issues that the backyard was facing, including standing water in the yard and resulting erosion. The backyard had become an overgrown mud pit that was completely unusable.
