Juan and team did a wonderful job on the landscaping for my driveway. He was very responsive, on time and was able to get the job done in less than a day. I’m extremely happy with the outcome!

I reached out for turf installation and spoke with Juan Casillas and settled on a date for turf to be installed. The day before, I confirmed the details and verified if any clarification was needed. On the day of install, his phone was disconnected with no answers until about 3 PM stating he needed to reschedule. I was very frustrated about this as I needed the job done quickly but he offered another date to do the job.

I reached out the day before once again to confirm only to hear back that he would not be in town despite previously confirming this date. He also never reached out prior to me reaching out to him to let me know any date change would be needed.

At this point, I was more upset due to the lack of communication, but I gave him one more chance to make things right and rescheduled once more. I reached out two days and again one day before the agreed upon date to confirm the details - he confirmed he would arrive as planned for the turf installation.

On the third scheduled date for the job, his phone was once again disconnected and he was nowhere to be found.

I have given him benefit of the doubt twice over and had my project delayed with nothing to show for it. I don’t often write reviews, but I recommend you steer clear from Juan Casillas to save you the waste of time and disappointment I experienced.

Juan was prompt for the appointment. He walked through the work to be done with me, explaining in detail what his crew would do. His estimate was reasonable. His crew arrived on time on the scheduled day and promptly began the job. The work was done efficiently and all debris removed at the end of the job. Juan then spent time with me, explaining other ways for me to keep the area weed-free over the long haul. Juan and his crew are professional and courteous and are #1 on my list of yard work and landscape providers. Thank you, Casillas Landscaping!

I hired Juan Casillas and his crew to to overhaul the landscaping in my front and back yard. This included a tear down of a wooden deck, removal 5 dead trees, new paver pathway, install of a French drain, new paver and rock deck, and landscape lighting. Juan and his crew were punctual, hardworking, and very professional. Juan gave me a reasonable quote and stayed within budget. He made daily contact with me to make sure I was happy with how the project was going. I am very pleased with the out come and recommend Casillas landscaping for any outdoor job.

Juan and his team did an absolutely incredible job with our landscaping. Took out old flower beds, laid down weed bed, put in steel edging, and laid down rock and stones. Such a beautiful job. Great with communication and everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I work for an agency that cares for children in foster care, and we hired Casillas to assist with landscaping for a new school that was built for the children. Mr. Casillas was prompt to answer our questions, gave a very reasonable quote, and gave excellent customer service. His team arrived right on time and provided excellent work to help beautify the campus. I highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

Kyle, Robert and Andrew worked efficiently and quickly to move our things wrapping and protecting everything to keep it from getting damaged. They even helped me lay my living room rug. We so appreciated that they disassembled and reassembled our beds so we had a place to lay our heads on moving day. Thanks to all of you

Veteran’s Best pulled through start to finish. Coordination was easy, communication clear and consistent (Manuel answered all my questions — even at dinner time the night before the move!), and performance on the job was thorough and conscientious. The moving team (Simon, Spencer, and Diego) I had was professional and supportive, and super efficient. They immediately introduced themselves when they came on site and listened attentively as we did the walk through. I would use them again; they made this part of the moving process simple!

They exceeded our expectations in a big way. The gentlemen were exceptionally professional and courteous. They went above and beyond their duties to make the move comfortable. We needed 4 trips with their truck; they packed, moved and helped unpacked. Nothing was damaged or broken. We highly recommend them.

Manuel and his crew were fantastic!!! They met us right on time and powered through the morning, unloading our 26” truck in no time. They were super nice, patient, and had great personalities. They made sure that things went exactly where we needed it. They even wanted to do a walk through at the end to make sure things were in the right place. Trust me when I say, book them. I honestly never leave reviews, just due to being busy, but my husband and I were so impressed I made sure to take time out of our unpacking to review these guys!!!! Well done!!!!!

My parents used this company for their long distance move a few weeks ago. I can say that using Veteran's Best Movers and and working with Manuel was a great decision on their part. Manuel was very easy to work with and he clearly sets a high standard for the movers that work with him. They worked really diligently during the move and were the utmost professionals.

This is the second time l've used the company within a few months (bad apartment), and they've delivered as expected and promised both times. They were punctual, respectful, yet extremely fast. The owner was on both of my moves, and that really meant a lot. They clearly care about what they do!

I called Veteran's Best Movers to schedule a move on a Friday evening. I worked with Armando, Diego, and Juan. They moved a 1 1/2 bed/1 bath, estimated 40ish boxes, living room furniture, and dining area from a 1st floor to a second floor. It took them exactly 3 hours. This company was reasonable in price compared to most of the other moving companies I called to get quotes from. The moving team worked quickly to get the move done and they provided good customer service. They made sure all boxes and furniture were put in the appropriate areas. The moving team made it a point to introduce themselves upon arrival. None of my items were damaged and they were very careful when carrying bigger pieces up the stairs. I'd recommend this moving company.

My moving team were Spencer and Juan. Both were very professional and took excellent care of my belongings. They were courteous and asked about where the item needed to be placed in the home. Isaac, Albert and Diego did a phenomenal job today. They were fast and furious! They worked diligently but carefully. They were extremely helpful and courteous. I will definitely be using this company again.
I also liked that when you call the phone number, someone answers and addresses all your questions.

I'm going to start off by mentioning, if you're on the fence about who to hire moving your belongings and you come across Manuel w/ Veteran's Best Movers, HIRE THEM!! Best moving company I have ever encountered and it started w/ Manuel's first initial call. I did not once feel pressured to hire them, rather he was upfront w/ me on the initial phone call and asked to come see what needed to be moved the next morning. He gave me an estimate and promised all my belongings to be safe and was understanding when I told him I had a couple more quotes to look at. My wife and I stand by and support our Veterans, and after Manuel sent me a text message wishing me a Happy Fathers Day, I cancelled my other appointments for quotes and hired Manuel's company.

This is the best part: I told him we didn't have a closing date yet, but we had an idea of when to close, but nothing was certain. He called me and told me he was going to save me an opening the 1st week of July and promised he'd personally be on my job helping his crew. Yes, he is the owner and sets the example of professionalism and hard work by actually putting in the work w/ his crew. Once closing day was wrapped up, he kept in close contact w/ me via text letting me know the day and time to expect him. He even notified me if he was running behind time.

Moving Day: Manuel showed up w/ 2 other gentlemen, Andrew and Simon, and they were extremely professional, genuine, and honest. Can't say that about to many Moving Company's. As Manuel promised, everything they carried onto their truck was wrapped, taped, and cared for. Not to mention, everything was broken down and put back together at the destination.
Unlike past experiences, none of our possessions went missing. As a matter of fact one of the gentlemen breaking down my daughters room found a pair of AirPods and her Apple watch she had been looking for, and made sure I received it. They had my house moved out of and into the new house and way less time than quoted. That's how hard these guys work. And nothing was damaged, scratched, or broken.

I've said a lot about Manuel and his company, but I can't say enough. Talk about going above and beyond, this is what they do. By far best moving company in San Antonio, and I'd go as far as saying best in Texas. Look no further and hire these guys, you will not regret it!!
